He's my new friend, well, I hope our friendship will be longer
"Lola" said Christopher
Christopher, my new friend, is Ms. Salvo's grandson?
"He was the grandson I was talking about hija" said Ms. Salvo
I'm not disappointed or sad with the news that he is the grandson of my mom's boss
I'm just shocked and I didn't even had any clue or a similarity with both Ms. Salvo and Christopher
"You guys play in the backyard, enjoy tonight Prisha"
We went back to the garden, just like what Ms. Salvo said, but I was too stunned to even speak
"If you still can't process, okay I'm sorry" said Christopher
I looked at him and smiled nervously
I tried to deny what he said because I don't want him to feel bad
"Ah, no no, I'm fine"
He smiled and nodded
Come to think of it, now that I'm seeing him closer, I cannot see any of Ms. Salvo nor Christopher's parents in his face
"Let me introduce myself again"
He stood up, fixed his tie, and cleared his voice to make his introduction more formal
"Christopher Jose Ceniza"
"Call me Christoph, just not Jose. I am twelve years old and my birthday is on the 2nd of March"
Christoph's older than me for 3 years and that made me amazed with having a friend who's way too older than me
"Yes, I am your Ms. Salvo's grandson, but"
He stopped a while and thought about if he'll tell me or not
"I am adopted"
As a long as rapunzel's hair, my mouth widened as my eyes
I didn't mean to discriminate or disgust him, I was shocked and I really didn't like the way I acted
"Oh, I feel bad now"
"No, don't worry, this is not the first time" he replied
Phew, atleast now, one of my friends are more matured and totally understands
That was the beginning of our friendship

"PASTILLAS!!"
One morning when I was watering the plants in Ms. Salvo's garden, somebody called me by a name I couldn't stand to be called
"Goodmorning, Pastillas" said Christopher
He started to call me Pastillas when I was ten connected to the name of my favorite food here in the Philippines
[ Author : Pastillas is a name of a famous food here in the Philippines ]
"Topeh" I rolled my eyes
Christopher is now as old as a grandpa, well I'm kidding, he's only fifteen
3 years has passed, I am now twelve years old and I'm in high school now, a seventh grader perhaps
"Okay, I did not expect that will backfire" he laughed
Topeh has been my very bestfriend in the whole wide world since 3 years ago
He's like a bestie and already a brother to me, a kuya perhaps
[ Author : Kuya is what we call and older brother ]
"Ginagawa mo diyan?"
"What are you doing there?"
He asked while looking at me seriously and is trying to make a way to tease me
"Watering the plants, baka kasi hindi obvious"
"Watering the plants, maybe it isn't obvious"
I said sarcastically while him being confused
"Crush mo lang ako eh, umamin kana kasi"
"I'm just your crush, just admit it"
He laughed and tried to look handsome when he looks really disgusting
"Crush? Eh, kuya nga lang kita eh"
"Crush? I just see you as an older brother"
Since I finished watering the plants, I went in the house and got dress so that I can go to school
Topeh and I are in the same school he's just older than me that means we aren't in the same level
"See you after school"
Christopher usually hugs me and kisses my forehead as a sign of saying goodbye or see you later
Ms. Salvo teaches her grandson to do that to girls to show them respect
She said that before, while she was still growing up, that's how men treated women in the past or in the history
It's a culture that they keep on practising for decades, from generation-to-generation
"Bes!"

She's a close friend of mine since sixth grade and, well, she's perfect

Darker than a shadow, blurrer than an eyesight
Alone as I am, two feet on the ground with tinie bit of sounds
"AHH!"
A woman with green eyes, brown hair and rosy lips came and took the spirit out of a person
"You got scared, I win!" said the woman
A very familiar voice she has, whom the face cannot be seen nor her identity shall be known
"Who are you?" I asked
As she was about to speak and answer my question

"Pastillas, wake up"
I may be this good but trust me, I've been dying to kill Christoph
"Tf, what do you want?"
His mouth spoke laughter for hearing me curse in school
"You're not so good after all" he laughed sarcastically
Well atleast I didn't explode like a bomb who's running out of time, for being patient with his attitude
"Okay okay, I just wanna ask you out, let's eat" said the annoying goblin
I nodded just to keep him away from me, I actually am still mad for him sneaking out and waking me up on a dream I've been dying to solve
Yes, you've read that right
I've been dreaming about a girl, she has a lover, a bestfriend, and a third party perhaps, who's face cannot be seen
The story is not about the woman having an affair but her living a not so normal but familiar life
I cannot say that our lives are similar for I am still a minor and she isn't but those places seemed really familiar to me even though I haven't went on any places but Ms. Salvo's house, the school, and the market
"Thinking so deeply huh?" asked Priah
I am the kind of person who does not want when people also are worried for my problems
I never told anyone about any problem I have because I know that they also have they're own problems to solve
Nor did I tell my mom any problems I have, I can manage them on my own
"I'm fine, don't worry about me" I gave her a smile
All she did was hug me to give me a little comfort and to tell me that I am not alone
I never told anyone about this dream of mine, I and only I know about what's going on in it and I am the only one who'll solve it
"Prisha"
I went home straight after today's class, I didn't stop at any store nor a stand today
I've slept at the library lately and I have saw a book that I know I've kept in my room at Ms. Salvo's house
"Hi hija you must be hungry, here eat" said Ms. Salvo
"Thank you, lola" I took the food and waved my hand, and directly went to my room to search for the book I've seen in my dream
"What are you doing anak?"
