New york to Cebu? That will be a long way to go. I looked at the man sitting beside me, busy ito sa kung anong tina-type neto sa kaniyang laptop. God really said sike and made me encounter with him huh? Still, whenever I look at him he looks like someone familiar ngunit hindi ko talaga maalala kung sino at saan ko siya nakita.
"Are you excited?" Nagulat ako ng bigla siyang magsalita because it was an awkward silence between us matapos namin i-greet ang isa't-isa. His deep voice sent goosebumps throughout my body.
"Ah y-yes boss." Hindi ako nag expect na magkapareho kami ng plane na sasakyan at magkatabi pa. Out of all people.
Where is Trixie when I need her?
"You look like you're not having fun Miss De Leon." He stated and looked at me. I gulp, his eyes are too dark na para na itong color black. Those eyes that screams something I can't figure out.
I looked away, tama nga ako. Looking at him straight in the eyes is like getting swallowed by the darkness. Nakakalunod, nakakakaba.
"I'm just tired." Ani ko. Honestly yes I am tired ngunit nagising ang buong kaluluwa ko dahil sa iyo.
I heard him chuckled at hindi na ito muling umimik pa.
This will be a really, really long flight.

Finally, the plane landed on our destination.
"Faraaah~ saan ka ba galing? Di kita katabi the whole flight." Trixie pouted as we unbuckle our bags in our room matapos kaming ihatid ng SUVs ng kompanya sa malaking villa. This is really big, and there are staffs who handles the food, the cleaning, and other things nung marating namin. Para siyang mansion na hotel na katabi ng dagat.
"Ask that yourself." Ani ko dahil siya lang naman yung nawala bigla, "Hmp! Ang sungit sungit. Buti nalang talaga mabait ako." She jumped on her bed and sighed, "Ahh it's so nice." She added at napailing nalang ako sakniya.
"Parang di ka natutulog sa ganyang higaan ah, " I tsked and she pouted again, "Libre hits different you know." She giggled and rolled over the bed.
"So..." She looked up to me, "I heard magkatabi kayo ng boss?"
I shrugged.
"Omg totoo nga? Anong nangyare?!" Umupo siya bigla, ready to listen to whatever I will say next.
"Nothing."
Disappointment crossed her face but then again, as Trixie, she is always positive kaya biglang nag lit up ang kaniyang mukha at lumapit sa akin with face of someone who looks like a cat asking for treats "Are you suuure?" Tanong neto.
Ugh bakit nga ba ako pumayag na maging katabi ko to. Wala din naman kasi akong ibang ka-close and it's hard to get along with new people unless ganito ka kakapal ng mukha kay Trixie.
"I-I almost slept on his shoulders." Napapikit ako sa hiya when I blurted that out.
Her eyes twinkled, "OMG i'm jealous aaaAaaAaa~" She squealed like a pig.
"Nothing to be jealous about." I coughed at nagpatuloy sa pag arrange ng mga gamit ko.
"Ah whatever! By the way magpapa-deliver ka ba ng pagkain dito o kakain ka sa baba?"
I really don't want to socialize but I also wanna explore the place dahil it looks very nice and nature friendly, I need to relax sabi pa nga ni Tyrone.
"Kakain ako sa baba." I answered and realized that Tyrone still didn't contact me.
"Oh great! Malapit na ang oras. Mauuna na muna ako ah? I need to see Roxanne eh, may utang yun sakin."
"Go ahead, I won't mind." I answered her habang hinahalukay ang aking selpon. Sakto namang paglabas niya ay nahanap ko ang aking cellphone, ayokong malaman ni Trixie ang totoong dahilan kung bakit ako nandito dahil magtatanong lamang eto ng marami. I also don't want to worry her over my personal life. . I decided to sit first and breathe.
I fished my phone and texted Tyrone.
"Hey, what's the update?"
I was waiting for a reply. Staring at my phone screen for a minute straight, and got nothing afterwards.
I sighed and put the phone in my pockets, dahil baka magreply ito mamaya.
I changed into a loose shirt and a short para komportable lang ako. Alangan naman mag-gown parin kami?
I decided na sumunod nalang kay Trixie but when I opened the door, I saw this guy--A random guy to be exact. I was taken aback because I was surprised from the sudden appearance at dahil nakatayo siya sa front door ng room namin.
I glared at him. He looks kinda fimiliar, maybe someone from the same company, pero ang tanong, bakit siya nandito at anong intensiyon niya?
"Hey hottie relax! Hindi kita sasaktan, pinapatawag ka lang." He raised his hands and grinned.
Confused, I looked at him up and down.
"Naman oh! Sa gwapo kong to di moko pagkakatiwalaan?" He tsked at hinaplos ang kaniyang mukha.
Fine gwapo siya, pero I don't like his vibe so I stared at him with a bored expression.
"Not all beautiful faces are good, some might be poisonous." I stated and crossed my arms.
"The boss wants to see you."
"Me? Why?"
"Bakit ka sakin nagtatanong? Ako ba nagpatawag sayo? Hello?"
Pilosopo din. A whole vibe that I dislike.
"How will I know you're saying the truth? Baka rapist ka lang."
Napaubo siya dramatically and looked at me with sad eyes, "Ansama mo naman, kaso hindi kita type." Binelatan niya ako.
The f*ck? What is he, a child?
"And I don't like women with fragile egos." He continued.
"What-" He cut me off.
"Yung na o-offend kahit di naman siya yung kausap." He smirked. I can feel my face getting hot when I realized na siya yung nasa cafè! Tangina nakakahiya!
"How did you kno--wait nevermind and just shut up. Hearing your voice makes my head ache."
He just laughed at tumalikod, "Follow me. He wants to talk to you. And by the way," He turned his head at me, I can clearly see a tattoo on his neck, I can't figure out what form it is though. And his ears are so full of piercing, it suits him though. Bad boy vibes. "You can call me Ken, and I don't like barbie-y vibes...like you."
Excuse me? Was that an insult?
He smiled, "Just kidding!! Follow me, before he decides to put a gun in my head just because I am talking to you."
