Escaping.
The word that had me experience hardships in life back then. It was hard especially when your family is so overprotective with you. I mean, overprotective is just an understatement for them.
But it was easy for me, now. To escape is just a basic thing.
Duh. I have a plan.
I need to escape this god damn two bodyguards of mine.
"Shit!" I cussed under my breath as I sighed heavily when I saw my two bodyguards outside my penthouse. Pagmumukha pa lang nila, naiirita na ako.
I closed my eyes and sighed heavily to calm my nerves. I need to focus on my plan. Inayos ko pa ang gusot sa damit ko at inihanda ang sarili bago buksan ang pinto.
I automatically smile when I saw the both of them. As usual, there are no trace of emotions in their faces, like a robot ready for an order to their boss. Umirap ako at umiwas ng tingin.
Our shoes clicked the marble floor when we started to walk towards the elevator. It makes a little noise. I sighed again for the nth time.
Nang nagsarado ang pintuan ng elevator ay nakita ko ang repleksiyon ko sa salamin. Peach fitted crop top and high waisted ripped jeans was what I'm wearing. My hair is in a half ponytail and some strands of it was hanging on the side of my forehead. Nakita kong pinindot ng isang bodyguard ang button ng elevator na parang alam niya kung saan ako pupunta. Umirap ako.
Nasa likod ang dalawa at pormal na nakatayo. Malaki ang katawan nilang dalawa, na kahit isang tingin lang, masasabi mo na babad sila sa gym. The one on the right side who pressed the elevator button is Jeff. The other one is Roy.
I tucked the little strand of my hair on the back of my ears. I shifted on my weight as I wait the elevator to go down.
When I felt the elevator stopped, I straighten my posture and walked outside the elevator. I aso cleared my throat.
Huminto ako sa paglalakad habang kinakapa ang bulsa ng pantalon ko na parang may hinahanap. Naramdaman kong huminto rin sila sa paglalakad. I bit my lower lip to stifle my laughter. Pumikit ako ng mariin. Damn this.

"I..." para ng dudugo ang labi ko sa kakakagat nito. Huminga ako ng malalim para hindi kumawala ang tawa ko. Damn...this is a torture to me. Gosh.
Umikot ako para mahanap silang dalawa na nakatingin sa akin na wala pa ring emosyon sa mga mukha. Kasama ba nila sa training na dapat, hindi ka magpapakita ng emosyon? Because they're so good! I hope I can try that.
They said that I'm a transparent person.
Whatever... Back to the plan.
"I forgot to bring my wallet. Can you get it? I'm so hungry na kasi." I tried to smile cutely but they didn't gave me a reaction.
"Ako na ang kukuha. Saan po iyon nakalagay?" pormal niyang tanong.
I rolled my eyes. "It's on the center table. Sa sofa." Inabot ko sa kaniya ang key card ng penthouse ko at kinuha niya naman iyon.
May nakalagay na na fake wallet sa center table para mukhang totoo ang plano ko. I know right, I'm a legend on this.
Tumango si Roy bago niya kami talikuran. I watched his back finally disappeared on my sight when he slid himself on the elevator.
I sighed heavily. I know this will happened but I still hoped that the two of them will get it.
But I still have my plan B! I know I can do this!
Bumuntong hininga ako at nagpatuloy sa paglalakad hanggang sa marating namin ang restaurant.
The restaurant gave me the elegant and luxury vibe. It has an classical gold chandelier above that illuminated the whole room. The floor was clean as well as the tables. The chair gave me the queens and kings vibe. Like the royal palace. The marbles was also good to the eyes.
At kahit ilang beses na akong nakapunta rito, hindi ko pa rin mapigilang mamangha. Parang akong first time na nakapunta rito dahil sa reaction ko kahit hindi naman talaga.
I roamed my eyes in the whole restaurant. I can see some businessmans, actresses and actors, and some models too. I can hear from here the classical music playing from the stereo giving the restaurant the vintage vibe.
Umupo ako sa kulay silver na upuan. Pinagsalikop ko ang mga daliri ko at pinatong ang dalawang siko sa lamesa bago tiningnan ang menu para makapag-order na kahit hindi ko naman kakainin. Sayang ang pagkain. But I needed this for the plan.
Naramdaman kong naghihintay na ang waiter kaya sinabi ko na ang order ko.

"Teriyaki chicken and Pineapple rice for me." Nag-angat ako ng tingin para salubongin ang tingin ng waiter.
He smiled. "Any drinks, Ma'am?"
Yumuko ulit ako para tingnan ang menu. Ngumuso ako. "Pineapple juice will do."
He smiled again as he wrote my orders on his notes. I watched him bowed down his head on me before he turned his back.
Nang naramdaman ko ang presensya ng bodyguard ko sa gilid ay nilingon ko siya. Inirapan ko siya bago umiwas ng tingin. I glanced at my gold Rolex and smirked secretly when I saw that it's almost time. I need to be ready.
I cleared my throat when I heard the familiar ringtone of my phone. This is it, yeah... I need to work my plan. I must to.
"I need to take this call. Baka si Dad ang tumatawag. I'm going outside." I glanced at him before standing up as I took my phone out of my clutch.
He shifted on his weight before standing up straight. His brows furrowed as his lips parted as if he wants to say something pero inunahan ko na siya.
"Ikaw na muna bahala sa order ko, baka matagalan ang pagtatawag namin. You know, business..."
A successful smirk appeared on my lips when he hesitantly nodded. Pinigilan ko ang sarili na tumawa kaya kinagat ko ang pang-ibabang labi.
Masaya ang loob na tinalikuran ko siya. As soon as I turned my back on him, a wide smile instantly appeared on my lips. I feel like my bad mood earlier lits up now.
Nang makalabas ako sa restaurant ay napahinga ako ng maluwag. Sinagot ko ang tawag sa kanina pang nagr-ring na cellphone.
"Thank you, girl. You're the best!" I chuckled.
I heard her snorted. I can only imagine her rolling her eyes on me. "Okay, whatever. Tatakas ka na naman ba? Sana mission failed ka ngayon."
I pouted. "Can't you support me?!"
"Yeah, yeah. I gotta go now. Enjoy your day! Bye!"
I smiled. She's a super busy person. I turned off my phone before hiding it on my clutch. Tinanaw ko ang restaurant mula sa labas.
I can see from here my bodyguard staring at me. But when the waiter came to my table, his attention went to my orders.
Agad akong umalis sa kinatatayuan ko at lakad-takbong tinungo ang basement ng condominium. Para akong nakisabay sa hangin dahil sa bilis ng takbo ko. At dahil may kalakihan ito, natagalan pa akong hanapin ang kotse ko.
Hinihingal akong nakarating sa tapat ng kotse ko. Inilagay ko ang dalawang palad sa tuhod ko para makahinga ng maluwag. Taas-baba ang dibdib ko at may namumuong butil ng pawis sa aking nuo. I sighed deeply.
Nang mahimasmasan ay pumasok na ako sa kotse ko. I need to get out of this place. Baka mahuli pa nila ako.
When my car went out from the gold big gate, my body felt relaxed and not that stiff like earlier.
Oh my gosh, nakatakas ako! It is an achievement for me! Para akong batang sa wakas ay nakalabas na ng bahay. Gosh, I didn't know that this kind of escaping was happy.
I turned on the music and sway my body while driving. Ang saya-saya ko kahit hindi ko naman talaga ito first time a tumakas. I felt like the world was ready to help me.
Para ng masira ang mukha ko dahil sa laki ng ngiti ko. If some people will see me like this, they will probably think that I am a crazy bitch or something.
I can't contain my emotions! I was beyond euphoric! Ang babaw pala ng kaligayahan ko.
Ah, another episode of peacefulness while shopping.
