Natalia's pov
I furrowed my brows in confusion when she said the money is not complete.
Suddenly she started laughing hysterically as soon as she noticed I was confused.
"Natalia!" She called, her eyes showing a lot of anger and bitterness.
Ma!!.
"Have you now become deaf or something because I don't understand you??"she asked .
I fixed my eyes on the money and thought of it while my mum was also staring at me, and a smile on her face.
I know the reason why she is smiling so that she will be able to beat me.
"It remains the money for one cup cake" she said and slapped me.
Tears streamed out of my eyes as she slapped me,that was when I remembered that I ate one out of the cup cakes when I was hungry.
"I can't even remember again that I ate a cupcake".
Eva came to the scene,I knew she came to mock me
She glared at me, feeling so much anger like I offended her also.
Why the heck is she here again? I know she will make the matter worse for me now.
"I see that you have gut now,I said where is my money?" she asked and I received it with another thunderous slap.
I held my cheek with pain.
My sister chuckled immediately and my mum slapped me.I don't know the type of sister that I have instead of her to help me to beg my mum she is mocking me.
"Can't you talk,are you deaf and dumb??" She asked.
."hmmm....mum I.....I......ate.....the cupcake when ......I.......was......hun.....g"I stammered.
"So you this smelling thing eat" Eva said and hold her nose.
"Can you imagine"mum said also.
Before I knew it she started beating me and I could not do anything......all I do only is crying,I can't beat her back,I can't do anything.
As she was beating me,Eva also was laughing underground.
She beats me to her satisfaction before she released me.
"Thief!!! Thief, for this you are not going to eat tonight.....is the hunger that led you in eating my cup cake that will kill you" she said.
She kicked me before she left.
Eva dragged my hair also......
I sat on the floor and cried.
"Or should I run away??" I whimpered..
This suffering is too much for me.
"Thank God I stole from the food,I wouldn't have eaten for a whole day".
The next morning
I woke up and that was when I realised my dad did not come last night.
I slept early yesterday because I was really tired,I checked myself to see if anything happened...... and I was happy when I saw that nothing happened.
How come?? How did it happen??.
I stood up from the bed lazily and I started doing my normal morning routines.
"I will make sure I don't get into any trouble today in order to go to school" I thought.
I still have many things to cover up in school......
If mum and Dad wants to employ maid they would have,they have the money but because they want me I humiliate me and make me suffer.
"What did they expect me to do again,I obey them and listen to them but they still kept punishing me like am not there child.... even though if am not there child this suffering is too much,they can't even treat a maid the way they treat me, Jeong?", I whimpered.
Immediately, I heard the door of the kitchen open.
"Natalia?" Someone called and I knew instantly it was mum.
"Ma" I sniffed and dried my eyes with my palm.
"What are you still doing?? Are you not supposed to be done with everything by now" she asked.
" I sniffed, and stirred the food I was cooking quickly".
I left the place and swept the kitchen quickly.
When I noticed she had left,I breathed out heavily.
I finished everything quickly and entered the bathroom.
After I finished bathing,I stared at myself with one small mirror and I discovered my eyes are puffy.
I left my room and I discovered they are already leaving with their seperate cars.
I don't know why they did not allow me to always go to school with Eva's car.
My sister have a car and a driver while I did not have.
I approached the gate and greeted the gatekeeper before leaving the house.
I trek to school all the time and my school is very far.
Adrian's pov
I checked the road every second,to check if Natalia was coming.
I just pray that she comes to school today.
Have really missed her.
Immediately I sighted her coming,I quickly ran and hugged her.
She was happy to see me also.
I placed my hands on her waist and we both approached the class happily.
I don't know why,but I used to be happy any time I see her.
We reached the class and I stayed in the position for a long time,before we both sit down.....we were about sitting down when a girl interrupted us with her friends.
"Look,who is in school,how come?? I thought you would still be on the road by now??" She asked Natalia.
I gazed at the girl and she looked really classy.I remembered that I had met her before when our car jammed with each other and she used to bully Natalia also.
"With the way I am looking at her she will be rude".
"Who are you?" I asked her angrily.
"Well am Eva and Natalia here is our house help,I don't know what a handsome and rich dude like you is doing with an house help" she said and her friends laughed.
I checked the student to know if they heard her.....but thankfully they didn't.
"What?? House help?? I can't believe this.
"No wonder I have been trying to ask her who she is, anytime she bullies her and she will not tell me anything about it" I thought.
I gazed at the girl and saw that she was smiling.
"And so what?? If she is your house help what is now my concern" I asked her.
She was surprised and shocked with my response.
"What are you doing here in the first place,is this your class?? Do get out" I screamed.
And before I knew it she was on her way.
"Don't worry,I will make your life miserable" she said to her and left with her silly friends.
I gazed at Natalia and I saw she was crying.
I could not ask her any questions but I hugged her instead.
And that was when our biology professor entered.
I disengaged from the hug and we both listened to the professor as she teaches us.
One thing I like about her is that she does not joke with her book. She is very brilliant.
I stared at her and realized she was concentrating Even though with all that happened earlier.
Ryan's pov
I am really stressed right now.
It has not been easy for me to hold the company.
I need to enjoy myself,I am tired of going to the office only.
I know if I am at home without going to the office,there is no way something will still push me.
I really love my work,the king always complains that I don't have time for him.
I am 28yrs and I don't have a girlfriend to call mine.
The reason why my ex-girlfriend broke up with me is-she said I did not have her time.
I will really have to take this vacation and enjoy myself.
I have made up my mind now,I was still thinking about it before but I will have to go now.
I will tell the king and the queen tonight about it.
