"Get out of my way, Joey! This is none of your business," Tim says, trying to pass Joey, but he quickly pulls one of Tim's hand.
"Hurry Tay! Save Eleanor! Get into my car," Joey screams while struggling to hold Tim back.
Taylor pulls Eleanor out of Tim's hand with both of her hands. She, Eleanor, and Joey later runs inside his car, which is not far, and quickly ask his driver to take them home.
"Take my friends home, Ron," Joey says to his driver, Ron.
"Yes, Joey," Ron answers.
Taylor and Eleanor are now sitting on the backseat (along with Joey), trying to catch their breaths.
"We need to call mom, Tay! We need to tell her that we're already on our way home," Eleanor tells her sister. Taylor catched another breath, before turning to face Eleanor. "Yeah! I'm gonna call her," Taylor says before grabbing her phone and searching for her mom's number.
"Umm..Joey..?" Eleanor asks Joey, who was sitting on her right side, while Taylor is on her left. Joey looks at Eleanor. "Yes?" Joey replies to Eleanor.
"Thank you for saving me from Tim today," Eleanor says while looking at him in the eyes. Wow! Eleanor thought he has gorgeous eyes.
"You're welcome Eli," Joey replies to Eleanor with a smile to his best friend. "You and Taylor are like my sisters! I'll always be there to protect you guys," Joey adds, before turning his head to look at the window. Taylor had just finished calling her mom at this time. Eventually, the girls fell asleep while waiting for Ron to actually arrive at their home. Eleanor fell asleep with her head on Joey's shoulder.
A few minutes later, Ron finally arrived at the girls home.
"We are here!" says Ron.
Joey looks at Eleanor sleeping on his shoulder. He had to admit, she looks pretty cute while she is sleeping. It's as if she was exhausted, but happy at the same time. He smiled before he let her know that they have arrived.
"Umm...Eli, Tay! We're here," says Joey, while looking down at Eleanor sleeping on his shoulder, and Taylor who was asleep beside her. Slowly, Eleanor and Taylor open their eyes.
"What?" Eleanor asks Joey.
"We're here," Joey replies to Eleanor.
"Oh, ok," Taylor replies Joey.
The girls stepped out of Joey's car and thanked him before entering their house. When the girls got in, their mom was already waiting for them.
"OMG you're saved!" their mom says while hugging both Taylor and Eleanor.
"It's ok mom," Taylor answers.
"I want to punch that Tim guy for trying to take away my daughters!" their mom says in fury.
"Chill mom! He was just being too dramatic about driving us in his new car," Eleanor says, while trying to calm her mom down.
"Who cares if he has a new car? Ugh that kid really needs to learn some manners," their mom adds again.
"Yup!" the twins replies to their mother.
Later that night, Eleanor decides to videocall Joey in her room, while Taylor is still brushing her teeth.
"Hey Joe! What are you doing?" Eleanor asks him through the phone.
"Good. Actually my parents already yelled at me to go to bed, but I think 5 more minutes will be ok. Hahaha," Joey tells his best friend.
"Hahaha, funny one Joey," Eleanor replies to Joey with a laugh. Through the videocall, she kept staring at Joey's eyes, which she thought was gorgeous as ever.
"Well, you look great before bed! I wish I could go to bed looking like you," says Joey to Eleanor, which made her blush a little. Did her best friend just told her that she look good? Wow.
"Wow, thanks," Eleanor replies to Joey. Taylor later exited the bathroom, and notice that both her sister and best friend are laughting at each other through their phones. For some reasons, she felt different.
"Hey El! I think I heard my mom yelling again from downstairs! Catch you tomorrow. Bye," Joey says to Eleanor.
"Ok. Bye Joey," Eleanor replies to Joey, before ending the videocall. Taylor was lying on her bed now, getting ready to sleep.
"Want me to turn off the lights, Sis?" Eleanor asks her sister.
"Sure, El," Taylor replies while still looking at her ceilings. Eleanor switched the lights off and hops to her bed to go to sleep.
An hour later, it was already 12:45AM, yet the girls are still not asleep. Both of them are lost in their own minds about one person: none other than their best friend, Joey.
Why do I felt so different when he video called my sister? We always video called each other together, but I was never like this. We always spent time together since we were kids, and I was ok with that. What is this feeling? There's no way that I could like my own best friend. Taylor thought.
I always thought he was cute since we were in middle school. But I never actually thought about feeling this way for him, until today. The way he saved me from Tim, I don't know what I'm feeling. Do I like him that way? Or am I just touched by his action as a brother figure? Eleanor thought.
The next day, at school..
"Guess the good news girls!" Lillian literally almost scream at the girls.
"What? Did Oliver ask you out?" Taylor ask.
"Yup," Lillian replies with her brightest smile.
"Haha, I knew it," Eleanor adds.
"You do?" Taylor ask.
"Yup! What else could make Lillian this happy?" Eleanor replies to her sister.
"Haha, totally right," Lillian adds.
"Well, congrats guys! I'm happy for you," says Paige.
"Thanks Paige! I can't wait for Saturday," Lillian says, while closing her eyes and imagining all the romantic things she desires.
"A Saturdate with Oli sounds like a dream come true for our Lili," Eleanor adds, making all the girls laugh.
"And how about you girls?" Paige asks Taylor and Eleanor.
"Movies again with Joey?" Lillian ask.
"We're gonna try that new arcade in town," Taylor replies to the girls.
"Ooh..sounds good," Paige adds.
"So is it a triple date again?" Lillian asks with a smirk.
"Haha, more like we're trippling, but not dating, Lil," Taylor replies to her friend. All the girls laugh.
