"EMORY MAGALHAES!" Napalingon ako sa boses na iyon. I saw Mochi and Clara, his little sister, chasing me. Huminto ako at hinintay sila.
"What's bring you here?" Ang batang babae ay niyakap ako. Kumalas siya sa pagkakayakap. Ako'y naman ay lumuhod upang maging magkapantay kami.
"Emory, don't forgot that you are my favorite Odette," Clara sniffed.
Pinagmasdan ko ang mala-manikang mukha nito. "I know. You told me that you want to be a Ballerina, pursue your dreams," I smiled at her. "Take care, don't be scared."
"Emory, are you really sure about this? You have everything here in Melbourne Florence. Bakit ka pa aalis?" Mochi emotionless asked.
"Because I have no life here." Bigla ko na lamang siyang niyakap. "Farewell."
A huge cruise ship or should I say that I am here in the Symphony of the Seas. The best feeling that I have right now is being free from chaos.
An unexamined life of mine makes me worthless as time goes by. Nonetheless, I choose to take an examination of being alone without telling them that I need them. I want to explore to find myself.
Siguro matagal pa bago maiintindihan ng mga magulang ko ang aking paglisan. Before 5:00 AM, nandoon na'ko sa lugar kung saan ay nakahanda na ang barkong masasakyan ko. There's a lot of people giving their tickets to a captain.
Nang maidala ko ang gamit ko sa isang exquisite room ay tsaka ako lumabas upang pagmasdan ang kagandahan ng paglalakbay. Madaming tayo ang nasa labas din upang pagmasdan ang karagatan na napakalawak.

"Hey there, do you want some coffee?" A bonhomie man inviting me to have coffee with him. I did not refused him as I am familiar to this man.
"It's my pleasure. Anyway, can you take a picture of me?" I gave my camera to him. 
"Of course." As he started to click, I started to make a posture and I sweetly smiled. I just realized that being independent is not a choice but time will tell you when you gonna be independent. I have learned that asking for a help is not a debt of gratitude to people.
"Thank you, sir Augustine Aquinas." He's smile is like a permanent paint in the canvas. Sabay kami nagtungo sa isang café na kaniyang sinasabi.
With other ladies in the table I saw how welcoming they are when they saw me. They are wearing an exquisite dress and luxury. While the other men are wearing a plain polo with a precious wrist watch.
Magalang na inurong ni Mr. Augustine ang upuan para sa'kin. Si Lady Dale Elysian ay nagagalak na nakipagbatian sa akin. She's one of the most exquisite lady who is taciturn to respond. "I am 20 years old. How about you?" she suddenly asked.
"Same with your age."
Lady Keona is the grandchild of Lady Leona. She loves to play violin as far as I know. "Your dress is so simple..." pag-aalinlangan niya. "Simple but elegant. Your brown hair suites to you porcelain skin." She compliment me in a way of a little detailed.
The aroma of coffee permeate in the air. Men choose americano while the ladies choose cappuccino. I preferred to order the espresso ngunit madalas kong inumin ay coffee latte.
"It's my pleasure to hear that lady Keona. You are also not just a beautiful lady but a precious gem." As I saw her precious gem in her neck.

"Yes."
"How come?" Mr. Augustine Aquinas caught his attention. "Being a sumo wrestler before is unbelievable."
"Absolutely Mr. Aquinas. However, I choose to become fit and healthy after a several years. I never expected that it would be challenging for me to lose weight. After 5 years, I am finally reached ny goals. It takes time."
We expressing wonderment to his successful accomplishment. His achievements made him brave and strong to see that he can have a new destination to his fate.
Mr. Immanuel Luke, one of the most fine young lad. He shared a story that his brother was also a big man and worked for his goals by having a determination. When he saw his brother from a far ay tumayo siya. He accidentally spilled the glass of water on me.
"Ohh!" I stood up.
"Are you okay?" He was trying to help me but I refused by shaking my head. Suddenly, hinawakan ko na lamang ang kaniyang kamay na nais umalalay sa akin. "Let me help you." Hindi niya na iyon binitawan ang kamay ko hanggang sa makarating ako sa comfort room.

"Buenas tardes!" bati ni Mr. Augustine Aquinas. "Sila ay namasyal na, Lady Emory. Nais mo bang mamasyal?" Agad niyang inilahad ang kaniyang palad na tila' nagtanong pero hindi para humingi ng permisyo sa akin.
"Of course, I want to go around and take a pictures." Namalayan ko na lamang na hawak niya pala ang aking camera sapagkat naiwan ko sa table.
"Here." Abot niya ng camera sa akin.
I know that choosing this dream will jeopardize my opportunity to be the next Odette. However, I gradually accepting that. From a distance, I saw him again. Mr. Sigmund Enrique who's talking the captain of the ship.

"May kalamidad na paparating kaya lagi kang mag-iingat upang hindi ka magkasakit," bilin niya sa akin matapos ako ihatid sa aking suite.
"It's my pleasure, Monsieur." I waved my hand and closed the door. Napatalon ako dahil may tumalon na pusa sa sofa. The cat fur, a combination of black and white like a zebra.
"Meow~" ginaya ko din ang pusa na ito upang makipag-usap. Tila' mababaliw ako kakakausap dito. Muli ay tumalon siya at mukhang nais laruin ang snowball na aking idi-nisplay.
"No! No!" pigil ko dahil regalo sa akin iyon ng aking ama na matagal kong iniingat-ingatan. "Please don't play there." Bago pa tuluyang mabasag ay nasalo ko iyon gamit ang unan na mabilis kong nadampot.
"Stubborn cat!" Pinanood ko ang pusa na nagtungo kung nasaan ang radyo. I on the radio for this cat. "Do you want to hear a news?" I asked as if this cat understand what I'm trying to say.
Natigilan ako when I heard the familiar melody. My ear love this song back when I was a ballerina. It's You Know It's About You and Swan Lake. I subtle smiled while enjoying the moment of reminiscing those times. Instead I dance, I'd rather choose to read books and forget about my dream.
Nadama ko na lamang ang pagyanig ng ship. Mukhang may problemang kinakaharap sa sakuna na ito. Kailangan ko nang lumabas upang malaman kung ano ba ang panganib na nagbabadya.
I wore my beige coat before I go out. Pagkalabas ko pa lamang ay bata ang sumalubong sa akin. I helped her to stand again. "Are you okay little girl?"
Malawak ang ngiti na binigay niya. "Yes. I'm just scared because of thunderstorm."
Suddenly I gradually clasped at her. "Don't worry, I'm here little girl."
"My daughter. Why are you hugging my daughter?" The man asked me.
"She's scared so I gave her a warm hug, Sir." Tumango siya sa akin at inalok ang kamay niya sa kaniyang anak.
"Thank you for giving her a warm hug, lady. We have to go."
Nagtanguan kami sa isa't-isa. Nagpatuloy ako sa paglalakad sa hallway. Sa bawat lakad ko ay may nadadaanan akong pinto na nakasarado. Maybe they don't worry about the calamity. Bumukas ang pinto.
"Good evening!" bati ni Lady Dale. "Are you going to restaurant where we will have our dinner together, Lady Emory?"
"Absolutely, lady Dale." However, I just wanted to know about the weather condition before I forgotten about our dinner for tonight.
As we arrived in the exquisite restaurant, everybody is there in the huge table. They are waiting for us. Mr. Immanuel Luke stood up at pinaghila ako ng upuan malapit sa kaniya.
"Thank you, Monsieur."
May mga musikero na may mga hawak na iba't ibang instruments. A serene place with classic music. They are wearing a coat and red bowtie. Bumilis bigla ang pintig ng aking puso when I saw someone coming here in our place.
Ayokong isipin na lumipad siya mula sa kabilang ship para makarating dito sa Symphony of the Seas. Mr. Sigmund making me feel something that I couldn't define. Nervous and calm just like the sky and the sea.
Sa bawat lugar ay ngayon pa lamang ako naglalakbay. Palagi lamang ako nasa isang silid upang nag-ensayo ng aking kakayahan. Ngunit nang makilala ko si Mr. Sigmund Enrique. Nakita ko ang mga bagay na malayo sa paniniwala ng aking nga magulang.
Sigmund na masyadong nagagalak na makiupo sa table namin. "Magandang gabi sa lahat!" Maginoomg matipuno na istudyante na naglalakbay. I can't even imagine kung gaano siya kasigasig na lalaki.
"Mr. Sigmund Enrique," pagpapakilala ni Luke na hindi inaasahan na ngingiti sa akin. I don't wanna assume that Lady Dale glaring at me because of that.
"Pinapa-kumusta nga pala kayo ng inyong mga magulang na kasalukuyang nasa ship, Harmony of the Seas."
"Kung gayon kami rin ay nagagalak na makilala ka. Salamat sa pahahatid ng mensahe lalo na sa panahon na ganito at mahirap ang komunikasyon kung sila ay malayo sa iyo," Lady Keona appreciated Mr. Sigmund efforts to be here with us.
"Tama ka riyan, binibini. Mahirap makipag-komunikasyon kung siya ay malayo sa iyo."
Matapos ang aming tahimik na hapunan kasama ang mga nakasama ko kanina ay nalaman ko na sumakay siya nang boat. Sapagkat iyon ang utos ng kanilang Captain na magtungo siya rito upang sabihin ang balita sa anak nito, na si Immanuel Luke. Nadinig ko lamamg iyon nang ipaliwanag ito ni Sigmund kay Luke.
Hindi ko maiwasan na hindi mailang sa lalaking iyon. Sigmund makes me curious about him.
I went outside and feel the wind making my hair fly. I staring in the void of the darkness. Love alone is never enough. It was a painful night for me, parted in opposite direction. Immanuel came to where I am.
Nadama ko na lamang na siya ay nasa tabi ko na. Nasalikuran ang dalawang kamay nito na magkahawak. "Ang buhay ay may katiyakan. Hindi ka nga lang sigurado dahil ang isipan mo ay parang karagatan. Malalim at nakalulunod," saad ni Mr. Sigmund na akala mo ay matandang pilosopo.
"I just wanted to have a fresh air and watching the fine drizzle rain."
May kinuha siyang kung ano sa coat niya. He opened the umbrella. Hindi naman ganon kalakas ang hampas ng ulan ngunit nababasa ako bahagya na ginusto ko naman. "Take care of yourself lady."
"Lady Emory, can I have your hand?" Sigmund asked me. Nagtaka naman ako dahil sa tanong niya.
"Malakas ang bagyo, 'wag na kayong sumayaw," Sigmund jested. Napasindi pa ito ng sigarilyo na bumubuga na kaagad ng usok. Hindi ko mawari kung ito ba ay maginoong matalino o isang basag-ulo na ginoo.
"Ang kalamidad ay parating na ngunit nais kitang isayaw lady Emory." Aking ibinigay ang mga kamay dahil nais niyang dalawa ang mahawakan niya. Dama ko ang musika na manggagaling sa loob ng restaurant. Iilan lamang ang dumadaan at hinahayaan lamang kaming sumayaw.
"Hindi ka ba nahihiya?" biglang bulalas ko sa kaniya.
"Ano ba ang nakakahiya kung nais ko lamang isayaw ka?" he chuckled. "Nagbibiro lamang ako, pumayag ka naman." Siya na mismo ang bumitaw sa aking mga kamay. Na kanina ay kinukuha niya pa ngunit agad niya ding binitawan. Napatitig ako sa mga mata nito na tila' kumikislap dahil sa liwanag ng buwan.
"The light reflects in your eyes," I hissed.
"Because, one day I'll become a star."
"What?" I winced.
"Stars are dead. What do you mean, Mr. Sigmund?"
"If our paths would cross again, maybe I am a star too." Napangisi na lamang siya at hindi na hinintay ang sagot ni Sigmund .
"As yet I’m sinking into my own burdens. I still wonder if you are doing okay." I tried to emphatic but he refused me.
"I don't need comfort zone. But, I want you to know that you have to be ready. Because sooner or later, you will know," huling mga habilin niya bago niya ko nilisan.
Kahit malayo na siya at hinabol ko pa rin. "I didn't catch it, would you tell me why are you being like this? I just felt that I already know you..." My heart is throbbing because of being nervous and unable to think when he gazed at me.
He slowly getting closer and I can't resist but to stay and let his lips to landed to mine like an airplane in the sky.
"Maybe, we are both dreaming," he whispered. I opened my eyes and I saw to his eyes how dark it is. Nakakatakot ngunit hindi ako kinabahan na pagmasdan siya. After we kissed, he abandoned me alone.
