5th Ghosting: Therese Nuevo

"ADAN James Martinez..."
Present teacher Ashey! "Ashey smiled sparingly at her student Adam. Of all her students, this was the most charming and always lively.
She was a second year high school teacher at that private school. They say that the children at this age in this generation are aggressive and troublesome. Because of social media. And social media has reduced their interaction to different types of people. Social skills have stopped. They're no longer being with people and outdoor activity. They are more focused on social media. Her student Adan, is one of those who has not been eaten by modern technology. He is still active in basketball in their PE class. He is the only student she sees often holding a cellphone in the class.
"Therese Nuevo..."
Silence.
"Therese Nuevo?" The whole class turned to a particular part of the corner of that classroom. The student she was calling was sitting there.
There, Therese Nuevo just nodded her head. She also glanced at her for a moment, but immediately averted her eyes and bowed.
"She's always like that..."
"Yah, a freak."
"I second the motion!" Her three female students in the front seat giggled and whispered about Therese.
Ashey breathed heavily. Looks like she should have talked to Therese's parents about her behavior.
"Ah, Therese, just wait..."
The girl turned to her for a moment and then bowed again. Therese always let her classmates first to go out, in the classroom everytime of their class dismissal.
"I want to talk to you," I begin to her.
"Y-- es? Why, Teacher Ashey?" Therese's squeezed her fingers.
Something is not right, Ashey knew. If Therese let out to her what's wrong, so much the better. If not, she will try to call her parents later, "Therese, what's wrong? I'm here, you can tell me everything..." The child remained silent for a few minutes. Ashey sighed, Therese didn't seem to want to speak, "Okay, aren't you ready to talk about that yet?" She continued, "Can you promise to me now, that you will confess it, once you're ready?"
Therese just nodded. Then she stood up suddenly and looked at her for a moment.
"You can go no--" even before Ashey finished speaking, Therese ran out of the classroom. .
She just looked at her student to her astonishment ..
"THERESE!"
That shaking on his shoulder of who, woke Ashey up. She awake and got up.
"I lent you a new life. But I think you'll kill yourself in a nightmare." With her arms crossed, Azraelle appeared in all dirty white.
"I had a dream about Therese ..." Ashey wiped her sweaty forehead.
"Obviously," the angel replied.
Ashey combed her unruled hair with her fingers. That dream had already happened. That was the last day she talked and saw her student Therese Nuevo. After that day, she called and went to her house but no one is there. Neighbors said that Therese's family had moved to the province for a reasons that no one knew, until they told to the school that Therese transferred to another school.
"Ahm, what are you up to, Azraelle?" She chose to deviates the topic to Azraelle.
"None. I'm going to get a soul of someone, near here. I just remembered to drop by here. And you're dreaming when I come in. You know, people's dreams reflect their worries ..."
"Maybe," Ashey only replied to the angel. The she suddenly remembered, "Why did you visits me tonight? We don't have any wine here today ..."
"Because you didn't buy."
"Because I don't drink."
"Nah, no worries. I bought a one at 7-Eleven earlier." Azraelle, pulled out something in his pocket--- a can of beer!
Shocks," she laughed as Azraelle started to drink it. The angel was prepared!
"I tampered with your cupboard as well. I got a Piattos."
"Suit yourself. Of course, is my suspicion correct? 'When you're only here in the world of living you can eat?" Ashey couldn't stop herself from asking.
"Yep." Ashey's eyes widened, she knew it!
"I knew it--"
"Ashey?"
Ashey looked at the door, Randall was knocking! Azraelle look at her, the angel just sway his fingers, anyway. It's like he's saying that it's ok for him to open the knocker.
Which she did even though she was a bit hesitant.
"Hi, good evening, why?"
"Ah, good evening, Ashey. Just... nothing," Randall chuckled, I heard like someone was talking. Then I thought, maybe you're having a nightmare, but it's seems to me now that your not..." Randall looking at her chest intently while saying that--- Psh! She's not wearing a bra!
Ashey just fell in silent. She caressed her neck. It was too late for him to cover up, what Randall had seen. Just normalize it, act normal when you are in a precarious situation. Remember that.
"Er, all right, I'll go down again," Randall said goodbye and smiled at her. The mischief reflected in his eyes was clearly visible in the light of the full moon.
Her boss is naughty!
He even heard Azraelle's faint squeal, before he waved at her as goodbye when she closed the door--- gah, the angel penetrated to the wall! Ashey feels like watching a 3D movie with what she'd witnessed. She was still amazed, can even moved in a sec. Until she frowned to the mess in her table...
"That angel was quick to consume alcohol and food! It seemed like it was only a matter of time before I opened up to Randall. And the good angel really left a mess!" Irritated, Ashey talked to herself when she saw that Azraelle had just left her food waste on her bedside table.
"NICE..."
"You're beautiful than that." Ashey looked at her boss.
There is a rainbow in the cloud and that is what Ashey refers to as beautiful. She is one of those people that rainbow makes happy. It's like a diamond in every girl's eyes, for her. Shining and noticeable.
"You know, just a little bit," Ashey said to his boss who had just arrived and sat next to her on the wooden bench she was sitting on which was one of the constant 'decorations' she noticed of the entire Santillan Farm-- designed and placed in every corner of the far, to deliberately resting chair for all.
"Just a little bit, what?" Randall asked him in frowned.
"Just a little bit, I'll think..."
"About?" Ashey laughed at her boss's frowned face. "What?" He asked again.
"That you had a crush on me." Randall just smiled at her, the kind of smile that can loosen the garter of any woman's panty.
Ashey laughed again. This time, more to her self. She didn't know where she picked up that mushy stuff she had said. She did not know that it was applicable for her to speak like that, really.
"You know Ashey,"
"Not yet." They both laughed at her comeback.
"Just a little ..." She raised an eyebrow at Randall-- no originality! "Just a little bit, I'll think you're really a lunatic--- because it's hot but, you're wearing long sleeves!" His boss said directly and then he ran away at the same time!
Ashey's eyes widened when she realized what her boss had said! "Bully spotteeed!" She shouted at him. She chased him and threw a slipper to him. Randall laugh harder. And so as she, as well...
It's really felt nice, laughing with her boss. Because Randall's laugh is full of life. Full of fun. Truest life...
"Lunatic! She's a lunatic!"
Well, she used to that kind of words. People in her past said that she's mentally ill. But of all the people who said those words to her, this boss of hers was the cutest. Er, just cute? Okay, right, Randall is handsome. She answered her own thoughts. In all honesty, Randall Santillan is really a handsome farmer.
"Hey, don't do that, Ashey!"
"Let me think about it," she joked, teasing Randall. She laughed at the look of her boss. She challenge him to pour out what she was holding.
Their chase took them to the row of coffee pickers. Ashey is holding the cherries in the bag now and she is joking to her boss that she will throw it to them. The coffee pickers just happily watched them and laughed. She seems to be the only one who does that to their boss. Hah! If they only knew how bully Randall to her!
"Don't Ashey, please, be ashamed of them..." His boss pointed at the coffee pickers.
The coffee pickers manually picked those coffee cherries. There was a machine for that, which Ashey saw when she had just arrived at Randall's farm, but the workers themselves said that manual picking was still better. Helping them more to chose what is rejected to not.
"Bossing, t'was reject!" One of the coffee pickers shouted at them.
Ashey smiled broadly at Randall. So, the cherries she's holding was rejected, said by the coffee pickers...
Meaning...
But Randall quickly hugged her arms from behind when he immediately understood and predicted that she was not joking to pour the coffee cherries. Ashey didn't hold back either, like a child she still poured coffee cherries on the two of them...
It seems like it's raining of a coffee cherries... and that rain only focused to them...
"Shit!" Ashey laughed at hearing ‘shit’ from Randall. She even threw coffee cherries at her gaping mouth.
That particular part of Santillan Farm was filled with laughter. Everyone will hear a lot of laughter. Amused, Randall watched how Ashey laughed, like a child she was still wiping with her own palm the coffee cherries she poured on them. That’s the kind of laugh he wonders of Ashey know how to do...
"You are something, Ashey Emerald Brown..."
He couldn't help himself--- he lifted Ashey and danced her around to that middle part of Santillan Farm...
