He faced me. "And we should enjoy our honeymoon now hon." Then he winked.
I blush then I just notice our suite. It looks very romantic but because of Jana and Maru, I wasn't able to appreciate the view.
It's full of red rose petals all over the room. A king-size bed that has a towel that forms heart-dove.
The light made the room more romantic.
Maru pulled my hand and brought me to the glass window. I was taken aback when I felt him on my back, hugging me.
I can feel his breath from my neck.
"It feels nice." He said.
I look at him. He looks happy.
Is he?
Then he gave a quick kiss on my lips.
"I told you hon to stop overthinking. Your spoiling our honeymoon."
I let a heavy sighed. "Sorry."
"Apology accepted. So now Mrs. Ottave may I have this dance?" He offers his hand.
I furrowed. “Where’s the music?”
He chuckled and showed me his iPod and put one earpiece on my ear and the other one on his and start to dance.

Then everything became slow motion. I can barely hear the music.
I felt his lips with mine. Kissing me with passion and gentleness. And I find myself responding to him.
He gently removes our earpiece without breaking our kiss.
Slowly we went to our bed, still kissing me. And then I felt his hand on my back.
And I knew that tonight I will be giving myself to my husband.

It felt so good feeling his warmth.
I found myself smiling while looking at my husband's face.

I suddenly felt myself blush to remember what happened last night.
I still can't believe that I already gave myself to him.
"Morning wife." I open my eyes when I hear him speak. His eyes are still close though.
He pulled me and hug me tight. “Ahhhh Maru!”
"I prefer your moaned last night wife."
My face suddenly heated because of what he said. I gave him a soft punch.
"Can you stop?!" I told him, a little pissed and embarrassed.
He chuckled. "How are you feeling hon? Feeling sore?"
I don’t know how many times did I blush because of embarrassment from all the words that come from this guy’s mouth.
He is right though, I'm still sore down there. But I knew that this feeling is normal for a first-timer.
I came back to reality when I felt Maru’s small kisses on my shoulder. Then he kisses my neck to my jaw and my lips.
I tried to break the kiss. "Maru aren’t you getting tired?”
He kisses me again. "No wife. I just woke up, that's why I have full of energy for you again."
"Maru!" But he won't budge.
"I can't get enough of you wife." He said sweetly.
"But I'm hungry," I told him to divert his attention.
His brow raised. "Really?"
I just nodded.
"Okay, hon. I will let you win this time because I know your still sore but next time no more excuses okay?" He said then he gave me a quick kiss.
I just smile and nodded at him.
I never expected this kind of marriage. I wonder if all arranged marriage is like this. Are my parents also like this when they got married?

A month has passed, and now we are celebrating our very first monthsary as husband and wife.
And it's far from my imagination.
I thought that it will be hard for both of us to start a life as a married couple. But thanks to my husband, he made our first month as smooth and wonderful as possible.
It felt like we want this to happen.

I can't help but smile while reading my husband's text message.
I didn't know that he is a sweet guy. Well if you will think about him, he had a girlfriend.
Is he also this sweet with Jana?
I suddenly felt sad when I think about that.
'Will you stop being pessimistic Mara?!'' I scolded myself.
But I can't help it. That's why I am so pissed with myself.
I just felt like, all of these are supposed to be for Jana. I am stealing all the things that belong to her.
I’m not sure if Maru is just forcing himself on me. I mean he is forcing himself to be a good husband to him.
Our marriage, is it okay with him? Or he is just convincing himself that he should be okay with this.
This is one thing I hate about girls. Girls overthink a lot and most of them are negative thoughts.
I calm myself and try to focus on other things.

“Hey hon”
My eyes widen when I saw Maru in my office.
“H-hey,” I said with a forced smile.
“It's time to go home hon, aren’t you done with work?”
I look in at the time.
Oh, shoot! It's already 6:30 pm. I was so engrossed with my work.
“Sorry, Maru I didn’t notice the time. I'm done, I'll just fix my things.” I said.
“Sure hon.”
When I’m done with my work, I get my bag and went to Maru.
“Ready?” He asked.
I smile and nodded.
He held my hand, and we went out of my office.
This gesture of him feels so natural. It's as if we are used to this kind of sweet gesture.
I can't help but smile.

I furrowed when I notice that Maru stop at our house.
“I thought we're having dinner?” I ask kind of lost.
He nodded. “Yes. We'll be having dinner.”
“Then why are we here?”
He chuckled which made me more confused.
“Can't we have dinner in our house hon?” He asked.
I smile at him, trying to hide the disappointment that I am feeling right now.
“O-okay.” I just said to him.
Maru went out of the car, and open the car door for me.
He held my hand again, and we went inside our house.
I feel more disappointed when I didn’t see anything new in the house.
I was expecting that he will make an effort to do some romantic things because it is our first wedding monthsary. Maybe I was expecting too much from him.
I almost forgot that we only had an arrange marriage. It's not like we want to marry each other.
I just shake my head. In times like this, my pessimistic thought is active that made me feel so drained.
"Hey hon, are you okay?” The concern is evident in his voice.
I just force myself to smile. “Yeah, I'm okay.”
“Are you ready wife?”
“Huh?”
In a snap, the lights are off.
A few moments later, there is a red carpet with lights on both sides leading to somewhere.
I didn't notice that there’s a red carpet a while ago.
“Shall we wife?” My husband sweetly asks me.
I nodded. Still shock and amaze at the same time.
He held my hand and walk on the red carpet.
I can’t help myself to cry when we reach the garden.
There's a romantic setting perfect for a couple.
There are red roses petals scattered in the grass. The romantic table is placed at the center of the garden while candles are surrounding the table that formed a heart shape.
It's very romantic.
“Did you like it?” My husband asked me.
I couldn’t contain the happiness that I am feeling right now. I just found myself hugging him and I kissed him.
