"Good morning, Cali." I smiled at Vlaster.
Compared yesterday, he came in earlier today.
He was reading a notebook but he didn't seem to understand it.
"Ano ba naman itong sulat ni Moraine. Parang mga babae, mahirap intindihin." he said.
If Moraine heard that, maybe the two will fight again.
"Can I borrow your notebook, Cali?"
"Crazy, I don't have a notebook. Why would you borrow a notebook from me? Do I look like a student?" I glared at him.
"That's what I'm wondering. Hindi naman student si Moraine pero bakit meron siya nito? Nagpapautang ba ang babaeng yun?"
"May I see." he quickly handed me the notebook.
"Vlast, it's not just a notebook. It's Moraine's diary."
"Poo-tah! Diary lang pala. Akala ko kung nagpapautang na siya. Nakakatakot lang kasi baka pati yung yakult na hiningi ko sa kaniya kahapon, ililista niya diyan at magkakaroon pa ng limang pisong interest." I laughed at what he said.
That's how Moraine is. She will lend ten pesos, and there will be five pesos interest.
"Hey, don't be so loud she's coming" he said as if we had bad intentions with Moraine.
"Why are you just sitting there? You won't even help our staffs." Vlaster and I looked at each other and we both laughed.

"At least bumawi ako ngayon. Mas maaga pa kaya akong dumating kaysa kay Cali."
"Cali, is that my diary?" she pointed to my hand holding the notebook.
"Yes, Vlast was reading this earlier."
"Hey, I haven't read it. It's hard to understand the handwritting."
This is it. These two will fight again.
"Have mercy, Moraine. I don't want a fight." said Vlaster. I did nothing but laugh at them.
"Stay away from me before I drag you out of this Coffee shop." Vlaster walked away.
"Cali, what did you read here in my diary?" she asked me.
"Dear diary, It's me again, magandang Moraine-"
"Stop!"
"Tinatanong mo ako tapos pinapatigil mo." reklamo ko at ibinigay sa kaniya ang diary.
"I saw Dshárz earlier, he was talking to Adley"
"He's talking to his crush?"
"Umagang umaga, nagseselos ang Calista."
Sa totoo lang, hindi ako nagseselos pero konting konti na lang talaga, susugurin ko na si Adley.
I admiring Dshárz for a long time but he likes Adley.
Adley, on the other hand, likes someone else but I don't know who is he.
"Our customers are increasing. We need to help the staff" said Moraine. I nodded to her and we quickly handled some customers.
"Hi. What can I get you today, Sir?" I asked the customer.
"Hello. Can I get a large iced vanilla latte, please?"
"Sure. Can I get your name, Sir?"
"Traise"
"Would you mind to spelling it?"
"Sure. T-R-A-I-S-E."
"Okay, Sir. That will be 165 pesos, please"
"Here you go." he smiled.
I gave him a large iced vanilla latte before he left.
"Sobrang pogi naman nun kaya lang, iced vanilla latte yung inorder. Umagang umaga hays." nagulat ako kay Moraine.
"Mainit siguro ulo niya kaya iced coffee sa umaga." I replied.
In the long time we have been running this coffee shop, I have never seen that Traise here. I guess just now. But maybe he's been here before and I just don't see or notice him.
But large iced vanilla latte yung inorder niya? That's my favorite.
We are the owner of this Coffee shop. When we were still in high school, our dream was to have our own coffee shop. So this is it, the dream of the three of us came true because of our efforts and perseverance. We did not ask our parents for money even though they wanted to give it to us. Now, I have proven that you can really reach your dream if you want to reach it. Don't just dream, you also have to work on it.
"Bakit wala yata yung isa nating barista ngayon?" Vlaster asked and he approached us.
"Si Luke?" Moraine replied.
"Yes he is. What happened to him?"
"Oh why are you asking us?" Moraine glared at him.
"Alam mo ikaw Moraine, kontrabida ka talaga ng buhay ko. Dalangin ko sobrang pangit ng mapapangasawa mo."
"Felmar, what happened to Luke?" I asked one of our baristas.
"I think he has a fever, Ma'am." he replied and I nodded to him before he continued what he was doing.
I left Vlaster and Moraine for a moment while they were still arguing.
There are still many customers coming and Adley is one of them. She whispered something to Kimara, one of our Cashiers. Kimara just smiled at her. Adley also left immediately without holding any coffee.
I was about to take a step closer to Kimara but Moraine called me.
"Cali, did you see my diary?" she asked me.
"I gave it to you earlier."
"Yeah but I just laid it there on the table and it's gone." she was obviously disgusted.
"Maybe it's just there. No one will be interested in your very cheap diary." Vlaster suddenly appeared.
"It was my diary when we were still in high school. It contained all my secrets."
Natahimik kaming tatlo nang mapansing nasa amin ang atensyon ng ibang customers.
"Sorry!" I said and we smiled at them.
"If we can't find it until this afternoon here in the whole coffee shop, that only means one thing." said Vlaster with a serious look on his face.
"Baka itinapon na sa basurahan. Ang pangit kasi talaga ng Diary mo, Moraine." he added dahilan para batukan ko ito.
Kung kailan naman seryoso na kami rito, saka pa siya nagbiro.
"Felmar, nakita mo ba yung notebook na nakapatong kanina dun sa table?" Moraine asked Felmar.
"Yung purple po, Ma'am?"
"Oo, yun. Did you saw it?"
"Parang nakita ko po kanina pero hindi ko na po matandaan." he answered.
"Pero parang kay Kimara po yata? Oo siya po pala, hawak hawak niya kanina."
Nagkatinginan kami ni Moraine.
Napadako ang tingin ko kay Kimara na hanggang ngayo'y napapangiti pa rin.
Kimara, ang pinagkakatiwalaan naming cashier.
