"Galing sila sa taas, maybe some new fugitives"
"Fugitives agad? Malay mo shushunga-shunga lang tas nalaglag sa cliff, masyado kang judgemental"
"Sinong tanga naman ang mahuhulog sa ganon kataas?"
"Sila,"
I woke up hearing those noises around me, unang dumapo ang paningin ko sa winged-one na katabi ko, she has an ash brown hair, dark gray eyes, has a pale skin, four feathers around her head and a lime colored wings.
"Oi! Gising na sya!"
"Who are you?"
"OWEMJIII! WE WILL FINALLY KNOWWW" I covered my ears as she screams, ang sakit sa tenga.
"Huy Mayahi manahimik ka nga! Nakakahiya!"
"Sorry kung maingay sya, anong pangalan mo? Bakit kayo napunta dito?" A boy with a pale blue hair with a silver eyes asked me, he has four feathers in his head and a light gray wings.
"Where am I?" Iritableng tanong ko, umupo na rin ako sa kama na kinahihigaan ko, kita ko namang gusto nila kong pigilan pero wala naman silang magagawa.
"Nasa level one ka ng Abyss, by the way, I'm Sirhaya" sabi nung babaeng nasa pinakamalayong upuan.
She has a jet black hair, pinkish eyes, has four feathers in her head and a... silver wings? Just like the king.
"I'm Calix, the one next to you is Mayahi" sabi naman nung lalaking may light gray na pakpak, kumaway naman sa akin ang babaeng malapit sa'kin.
"Asan ang mga kasama ko?" I asked, bukod sa hindi ako mapalagay dahil hindi ko alam kung asang parte na ba talaga kami ng Uncovered Winds ay dagdag pa na ni anino nila ay di ko makita.
"Nasa room na katabi natin" sagot sakin ni Calix, napatango naman ako.
"What is your crime? Why are you thrown down here?" Sirhaya asked.
My eyebrows knitted as she mentioned the word 'crime'. I may be the child of the prophecy but I'm pretty sure that I'm not a criminal.
"Why are you here? The place where you, and your comrades fell is pretty unusual. Usually, ginagamit nila yung cage pero kayo? Sa waterfall kayo nalaglag, ganon ba kalala yung nagawa nyo?" Segunda naman ni Mayahi.
I cleared my throat first before answering them.
"First- I or We didn't do anything to harm anyone from above. Second- We are NOT criminals. Third- I don't even know the cage that you mentioned and lastly, what is this place?" Sagot ko, I can see the baffled look in their faces.
"Kung hindi kayo kriminal, bakit kayo nandito?" Sirhaya once again asked. Masyadong matanong 'tong batang 'to medyo nakakainis na.
"We fell ok? Tumatakas kami"
"Why are you escaping?"
"You see, the King attacked us"
"Why did the King attacked you?"
Owmysht, deep breaths Lyon, she's just asking, plain curiosity.
"Ok, because-"
"The king attacked us because he needs someone from us" napatingin naman ako sa pinto and there, I saw Via.
"Who are you?" Tanong ni Sirhaya, nothing new, sya naman laging palatanong.
"Via, his sister" napatango naman si Sirhaya, Via sat next to me and started explaining.
"Inatake ng Hari ang region namin, you see? Above you is Mágoi Region, the restricted part-"
"I know" putol ni Sirhaya, nakita ko naman ang pagbuntong hininga ni Via, she's containing herself? First time.
"We are Mágos and my mother instructed us to go here" pagtatapos ni Via.
Napatango-tango naman sila Sirhaya. Finally.
"This is the Abyss right? Which level are we?" Tanong ni Via.
"We're in level one but first, ano 'tong Abyss?" I asked. Nakita ko naman ang gulat sa mukha nilang tatlo, why? Sa hindi ko talaga alam 'to eh.
"You see, Abyss is where criminals are held, may four levels dito. Level one, kung nasan tayo, dito, puro light na kaso lang ang nagawa nila, for example, thief" paliwanag ni Via, napatingin din sya sa tatlo.
"I don't know what you've done, but I'm pretty sure it's not that heavy" sabi ni Via, napairap naman si Mayahi and I heard Sirhaya whispered 'I didn't even do anything' pero hindi ko alam kung narinig yon ni Via.
"Level two, this is where murderers are held. Level three, rebels, pero I'm pretty sure na konti na lang ang nandon, who would even dare oppose the King except us" she added then laughs though I know it's not real.
"And lastly, level four, iisang winged-one lang ang nandon and if I remember it correctly, he's been there for almost ten years" pagtatapos nya.
"All in all, Abyss is not the kind of place that you want to be in"
