Chapter 6
"Dad, take me home," Yanny requested.
He knew that his Daddy and his friends at the gig would have as much fun enjoying themselves. But she was drowsy so she wanted to go home. She was sure that her mommy wasn't there yet but it doesn't matter as long as she got home to rest.
"Okay. But can you wait even an hour to stay. I will tell them I will bring you home and may never come back."
"Okay dad."
She agreed. She will have to wait just an hour. As long as she can go home too after an hour of waiting. There's table behind too she can just bow down her head. She can hide there and steal even few minutes or hour to take a nap.
"Yanny! Yanny!"
Someone is patted on her right shoulder. She awoke to her daddy's voice. It's been an hour but seemed not that long. It was like she didn't got a little nap.
"Yes dad!"
She seemed to be taken aback by the suddenness. But she also woke up in a trance. As she turned face to her father, slightly she narrowed her eyes.
"I will take you home now," Rigo said.
Stand up immediately is what she did. She can finally go home and she wants to lie down properly in her bed. Her eyelids couldn't stop from closing. In the car at the front seat she was leaning her back she got asleep. She just woke up again when they arrive at the gate of their house. It was dark from the gate as well as inside the house with no light left on at all.
"Dad, come in first. I'm scared.  It's so dark here."
"Okay okay."
Rigo followed his daughter and just closed the gate. He comes in first to the house.
"Your  mom is not home yet."
"Are you jealous Daddy. If you are it means you still love mom," she said sarcastically to his father.
"Hmmm! All right baby, come in," Rigo ordered his daughter.
"Wait, Dad, don't leave me right away. You'll leave later when mom arrives."
"Okay, I won't. I will stay here forever baby," he joked to Yanny.
He knew that Yanny get mad  when she mentioned baby. Her father and she entered the house. Yanny turned on the light in the living room.
"Dad I just bring you here a pillow. Take a nap first on the sofa."
"Okay, thanks."
"I'm going to sleep. Dad, I'm really sleepy." Yanny spoke while walking away. 
Her daughter left quickly and entered the room. Rigo switched on the television and decided to watch first. But still have no Cleffy is coming. It was past two in the morning when his eyelids were lowering. Gradually he closed his eyes.
"For all I care, Jayson," Cleffy shouted.
This is the first time Cleffy has shouted her boyfriend. Just at the mall, they were exchanging bad words. Cleffy can't lower her temper anymore. Jayson tries to calm her down to stop the issue.
Butr it look likes a big fight is really going to happen.
Cleffy doesn't like Jayson's excuses. That he and Deirdre the woman with them at dinner were dealing pure business. She preferred to speak until they had on their way home. But her brain was already stunned and confused. They were already along EDSA. Jayson chose to stopped answering Cleffy. He will not win over her. Until they got closer to Cleffy's house. The fight started again when Jayson saw Rigo's car as her girlfriend had akready opened the gate. That it means Cleffy's ex-husband is inside.
"See, he's there. That's why you got to be like that. You have someone to be proud of."
It made her blood rushed up to her head. Her blood is already boiling. The issue went to her. And her boyfriend find a reason to make her deceitful.
Don’t wipe me in of the deceptions you do. If my ex-hubby is inside what do I know. We have a daughter they are together. I've been with you , haven't I? So why seemed that you are in doubt?"
"Then you pretend that you don't know," Jayson has added.
She was even more annoyed by what Jayson had said. Her boyfriend wants to reverse the situation of jealousy.
"Huuu, you're twisting the situation. We can't fix this, if you think like that. Get out!" she muttered.
Out of annoyance, she inadvertently pushed away out her boyfriend. And she suddenly remembered two nights that she had also cheated on her boyfriend. She didn't even have to tell Jayson about it. She admitted to herself that she was guilty. What else can she do? But to end the argument between the two of them she has to tell Jayson to go away.
"Okay, I will. Just tell me not to come back I will then too."
No matter how kind a person is when jealousy exists, it can no longer be properly addressed. Jayson has been like that. He was so kind that Cleffy got to know him. But lately, since he knew that Rigo has returned to the country. Probably will often visit to see Yanny at the house. Jayson has also become suspicious. Rigo and his band co-members often contracted abroad. In Rigo's bar the group is always performing and Yanny often goes to see her Daddy and they can meet whenever her daddy is here or so. Her ex- hubby also avoids a quarrel with Cleffy. It doesn’t want Yanny to grow up that often see and hear them
Okay cool," Cleffy shouted loudly.
Jayson’s challenge is accepted. It quickly got into the car and pulled away. Cleffy was left crying. It could no longer hide the weeping. Jayson even reversed the reason. Deirdre was the subject of discussion until the issue turned to Rigo. Earlier, Rigo heard the two fighting. He preferred to just sit on the sofa. He did not stand or even peek. He wanted to pretend to be asleep but Cleffy's crying was the reason for him to ger closer it.
"Cleff, come on in here."
"You're are also among them," it also shouted at him. There are no good men in this world," she growled.
"Oh! how did I got involved," Rigo.
"Please go leave me too. I don't want to talk to anyone!"
Rigo felt the intense annoyance of his ex- wife. He knows its her habit, it will cry when it is very angry. He used to just soothe it with a hug. He knew he couldn't do it at that moment. Not like as before.
"Cleff."
He said softly as he approached her ex-wife but immediately pushed him away when he held her hand.
"Go, Rigo leave me!"
He slowly backed away to his car because of Cleffy's repulsion. He prefers to talk to his ex-wife next time. Its head is still hot, their conversation might go far and will end to fighting. He wanted to coax her and they would get back together. So he did not want the situation to get worse.
"Mom," Yanny approached with a frown.
"Yanny!"
She was surprised to see her daughter. Then she spoke and mentioned her daughter's name in an astonishment.
"I thought you were already asleep. Why are you awake? Go back to your room. She orders it like a child. She didn't want Yanny to hear the reason.
"What's going on here?
Yanny was startled by her mommy's shout. She also doesn't like that her mommy will just yelling at her daddy. It is unjust for her to hear.
"Mom why are shouting Dad away like that," he asked in astonishment."
"Go back to sleep. Please Yanny. It's okay! Your mommy and I will just talk," Rigo ordered.
"Please mom lower your tone. It's going to be morning. Our neighbors were still sleeping. It is embarrassing for them which are sleeping soundly. You are disturbing.
"Sorry," Cleffy said softly.
She first lowered her temper and voice. Rigo had nothing to do with the rivalry between him and Jayson. It just also happened that he was there, wasn't intended. Jayson also made an issue against his girlfriend. Though he has a reason to get jealous but still he has no proof to get angry. Rigo is secretly happy with what was happening. But he doesn’t want to be a villain. She would rather wait that Cleffy voluntarily walk away from her boyfriend because they no longer understand each other. He doesn't like to make any moves.
"Okay mom. Dad come back here."
She wanted her dad to get off from his car and come back closer to them. To make a proper conversion before his dad goes home.
"Forgive me if I interfere. I just want to comfort you There is no other reason other than that," Rigo said.
"I'm sorry. I was just carried away. I don't know who I'm going to fight," Cleffy replied.
They both had peace of mind before Rigo went home. Yanny smiled too. She was happy in those moments because her parents were both humble to put each ego on the place where it should be.
