She burst out laughing and then continued talking. "He even tried searching all over the house but he didn't know that I already got here." Stella giggled while telling her story on how she got away with her butler, I can't help but laugh at her childish behavior.
She's too naughty, in just one month she made three butlers resign. What a girl.
So this is how it feels having a friend... it feels good. I never had a friend but only my parents and yes, I consider my books as my friends. Reading them made me forget of all the happenings, the bad things I experienced. It made me loss in reality and face fantasy instead… to my favorite place.
Just like an author said, ‘Imagination will take you to the world of favorites.’
Stella and I went to places, shopping in malls, eating in restaurant, she is even picky but good thing about her is that, she is very optimistic, she does not have a say or demands for anything, it was like she always think things positively.
When we got tired of roaming around the city, we decided to go to park. Stella said that the park is pretty big and refreshing. She insisted on going and so I agreed.
On the way, I couldn’t help but look at people, observing them… their behaviors, in my dream people were all fighting at each other for I don’t know what reason. I don’t even believe myself that those dreams of mine will happen however, the thought that I only saw past and future scares me. It scares me that someday it might truly happen, but when? How?
"By the way, do you have friends in your previous school?" Stella suddenly asked, which made me out of thought.
"Ahm," I looked away. "I don't." I said, sighing.
She turned sad after I answered her. "I'm sorry for asking-"
I cut her off "No, it's fine." I said giving my genuine smile.
"Well, the truth is, we are the same... I don't have friends either." She looked down feeling a bit sad about it.
"But now, you have a friend. We're friends right?" I looked at her smiling but wearing my hoping eyes. I only experience this bond and for the first time, I felt like having a true friend, I hope she is feeling the same, I really like her companion.
"Of course!" She smiled widely but then she suddenly pouted. "Aish! It's been hours but I haven't found my right man yet." She nagged like a child.
"Your right man will come at an unexpected time you know." I cheered, smiling. I continued "So, don't be down because you will see him at the right time. The time you unexpected the most."
"Yiee, you motivated me. Thank you!" And there I saw the happy Stella once again.
"Aren't you confused? How come it just crumpled without a wall or post in front?" A woman passing by said to the girl with her in full confusion.
"No one knows, it happened so fast." The girl replied.
"The child is so lucky. He was saved by a mysterious angel, I think. It was a miracle." The woman added as they got far away from us.
"What do you think they're talking about?" Stella asked, and it seems that she heard them too.
"I don't know." I shrugged.
"OMG! We're here!" She exclaimed while turning around feeling the essence of the surroundings.
Looking around, this place is really great! It's truly refreshing with a wide field of bermuda grass and families having picnics in the distance, but suddenly my eyes caught the playground and it was also the place I saw from my vision earlier... so I came closer.
"Kelly!" Stella called walking faster towards me. "There's an ice cream parlor nearby, I'm gonna go and buy some. Wait for me here, okay?"
I nodded "Of course! Just make sure to buy ice cream, not boy hunting." I smiled playfully.
She laughed "Yes ma'am!" and walked away.
So I continue walking towards the playground and when I'm right on the spot as I was on my vision, I look at the side road to see the same as I saw it.
A bunch of people were gathered watching something which caught my curiosity. I walked closely towards it and saw what these people were looking at... shock covered me that I was almost frozen on my spot!
It's a broken red car but it was crumpled in front... What shocked me was the fingerprints that made it crumpled. Who the fuck did this!?
People gossip to each other but I hate listening to rumors because they are just secondary and you can not tell whether it's the truth or not. So I never dared listening to anyone unless it was proven right... to tell you, I am the truth. Everything I got to hold, they are my eyes.
So I came closer to the car and slowly put my hand on the fingerprints, it's a little bigger than mine but... they fit together... the moment I had contact with the crumpled part. A vision popped in my head...
~~I saw a little boy crossing the road but, this red car is running so fast! The driver tried pushing the break but it malfunctioned. Suddenly, on the other lane I saw a blue car rushing opposite to it and it doesn't seem to know what's happening if it continues the little boy will get hit or... the blue car will crash with this red car!
Everything seems so fast, I can hear some people yelling to the little boy and when the car got closer. What the heck!! A guy shielded the boy and stopped this red car using his bare hand! Unbelievable!
Suddenly,
The guy looked at the red car and there, I saw a glimpse of his face that I will never forget... a face that made my heartbeat hammered rapidly against my chest... a face of a Greek god!
They went so fast just as they disappeared into thin air... ~~
