2 days after, the girls decided to gather in Taeyeon’s cafe. They just want to see the progress on the two.
“What are you all doing here?” Taeyeon ask as soon as they enter the cafe
“Visiting our friend and to have a drinks” Yuri replies
It was true, they are all craving for Taeyeon’s cookies.
“Taengoo, where is Tiffany?” Sunny suddenly ask when she can’t see her
Taeyeon furrow her brows upon hearing her name “She’s at the back taking a call”
The girls notice something is wrong with her with the way she talks. It’s like there is some jealousy and anger in her voice. That combination is very alarming.
Minutes later when all of them are waiting for their orders, Tiffany walks out of the kitchen with a smile on her face.
She saw Taeyeon making a lot of drinks. Taeyeon saw her and the smile on her face disappear
“Who called you? Are talking to that man? Is that why you need to go where I couldn’t here you” Taeyeon angrily tells her while she continues making drinks
Tiffany didn’t expect that sudden out burst from Taeyeon. Much more is that she didn’t expect Taeyeon to accuse her of cheating
“What are you talking about? Do you think I am cheating on you? Come on Tae. I am talking to my sister Michelle. She called me regarding my resignation” Tiffany answer her trying to be calm
Taeyeon didn’t anwer her back and she just look away
“You can even look at my phone record if that will make you believe me”
“I’m sorry” that is Taeyeon’s only reply whenever she loses arguement with her girlfriend
“Boo, what is really happening to you? You are not like this” Tiffany cupped her face so that she can see her eyes
“Can we talk about this later. Our friends are here” Tiffany then look behind her and she saw the girls looking at them
“Why didn’t you tell me that they’re here”
“You’re on the phone. How can I tell you that” Taeyeon slightly raise her voice and Tiffany finally loses her cool
“Are these the girls order?” Tiffany pointed at the drinks on the trays.
“yes”
Tiffany pick up the tray and left her alone at the counter to serve their friends order.
It was a Sunday afternoon so there is not much of a customer coming. Tiffany serves their drinks and when she’s done Sooyoung grab her hand
“Fany, is there something going on with the two of you?”
Tiffany heaved a heavy sigh “She’s like very possessive and jealous and I don’t know what is happening to her. She won’t even tell me”
“That is not good” Sunny blurted and her friends knew what she’s talking about.
Taeyeon being like that is silently telling them that she is not okay or she is still not okay. It was also her silent cry telling them that she is scared of losing someone she loves
“What do you mean about that Sunny?” Tiffany curiously ask. Before any of her friends can answer, she felt an arm wrap around her waist. She knew it was Taeyeon
“Can we talk?” Taeyeon whisper to her but the girls also hear it
The girls told Tiffany to go and that they will look after the cafe for the meantime
Taeyeon brought her into her office. It was the first time that she let anyone inside her office
“Tae, tell me. What is really happening to you?”
“I’m sorry. i don’t know why I am like this either. I’m sorry,Fany-ah”
“Are you afraid that one day I will leave you again or you don’t trust me enough when I say that I am staying here for good”
“I’m scared. I am very scared, Fany-ah” Taeyeon suddenly raise her voice out of frustration while holding her head with both hands
Tiffany knew by then that Taeyeon is having an attacked
She places her hands on top of hers “tae, breath. Slowly”
Taeyeon is listening to her and her breathing is somehow becoming stabl tiffany forces taeyeon to look at her
“Taeyeon-ah, listen to me. You will not be alone again. I will never leave you again. You have to let yourself believe that because I am here now,Boo”
Tiffany then hug Taeyeon, rubbing her back to calm her down.
“Can I leave you for a minute? I need to ask the girls for your pill” Tiffany carefully ask Taeyeon so that she will not make the girl panic
Taeyeon understand that she needs to take that pill for her to be okay.
Tiffany run outside to their friends
“Give me Taeyeon’s pill” Tiffany is trying not to show them that she is panicking but the girls were startled by her
“What’s wrong with her?” Hyoyeon ask
“I’ll tell you later. Her pill please”
Yoona who is beside Tiffany went through her bag and handed her a bottle of Taeyeon’s pill
“Thanks Yoong”
Tiffany run back to Taeyeon’s office and gave her the pill that she immediately eat.
Tiffany waited for a few minutes before she talks to Taeyeon again.
“How are you?”
Taeyeon open her eyes to see her “Better. Thank you for staying with me”
“You don’t have to thank me. It’s my responsibility to help you. I love you so much that I will do anything for you”
“I love you” the two shared another kiss.
“Fany-ah, can you look after the cafe or you can close it early. I will sleep for a while, the pill is making me sleepy”
“Okay. Just call me if you need anything or if you are feeling something” Tiffany had to remind her that because she wants her to know that she is not alone anymore.
Before Tiffany left her, she make sure that Taeyeon is sleeping comfortably on the couch. She puts a blanket on her, adjust the aircon temperature and kiss her on the forehead “I love you boo”
The girls are waiting outside worried about Taeyeon’s frequent attacked.
“Fany-ah, how is she?” Sunny ask the moment she saw her steps out of the office.
“She’s fine now. She wants to sleep so I let her be” They could finally relax knowing that Tiffany manage to calm her easily because they always have a hard time restraining her before during her attacks
“Unnie, what trigger her this time?” Seohyun ask
“You know since we became official again, she is very protective and possessive of me. I can’t be away from her for so long. And if I will use my phone, she will always check who I am talking to or what I am doing”
The worry on Tiffany’s face didn’t go unnoticed by the girls because they are also worried by her sudden behavior.
Except for Tiffany, everyone turn their head to Sunny, waiting for he to speak. Because out of everybody, Sunny knows Taeyeon better.
“Fany-ah, are you okay with her being like that to you?” Sunny started to speak
“I would lie if I say no. But I am really not sure at first because she is not like that before. Now that she told me about that, I understand her now”
“I bet she told you that she is afraid or scared of losing you again”
Tiffany is surprise that Sunny knew about that “ Sunny, did she tell you about something that she is hiding from me?”
“I’m sorry,Fany. We promise Taeyeon that we will keep everything to ourselves until she’s ready to tell you that”
They saw the disappointment in Tiffany’s face. Even though they really want to tell her about everything that happened to Taeyeon for the last 5 years. But their mouth is shut and sealed not until Taeyeon tells them.
“I just don’t get it. Why would she hide it from me. It’s not like it’s a matter of life and death that you are protecting that secret like that”
The shock on everyone’s face shows that Tiffany is right about her hunch.
“Wait, am I right?” Tiffany ask but no one dare to look at her.”Oh my god girls. Please tell me what the hell really happened to her!” Tiffany is desperate to know about it.
“Unnie” Seohyun is trying her best to calm her “As much as we want to tell you about that but we cannot betray Taeyeon unnie. That is the last thing we want to do to her. Another betrayal from the people that she loves will hurt her again deeply”
“Stop. Stop it. Death, life, betrayal what else will you tell me but won’t explain”
“Fany, you should try to understand us too. It wasn’t that easy for us too” Sunny tried to persuade her
Tiffany laugh bitterly “You know what, I get it. This is your way of making me feel what Taeyeon felt when I left her 5 years ago. I get it now”
“Tiffany, we are not doing this on purpose” Yuri raise her voice not liking how  Tiffany is thinking.
“Please, if you are all done with your drinks, you can go now. I will close the cafe now” Tiffany coldly tell all her friend as she walks toward the door to put on the closed sign.
Without glancing back to her friends, she walks to Taeyeon’s office to check on her. When Taeyeon felt someone opened the door she tries to open her sleepy eyes
“Fany-ah?”
“I’m sorry. Did I wake you up? I am just checking on you”
“It’s okay. What time is it?”
“Almost 4pm I think. I am going to close the cafe now. Let’s take a walk on the park after” Tiffany ask the sleepy girl on the couch who is smiling at her
“Okay. But can I sleep some more? I am really sleepy~”
Tiffany saw how her girlfriend pouted and she didn’t know what comes into her mind that she suddenly went on top of her that caught Taeyeon off guard.
Tiffany kiss her hard on the lips that Taeyeon took a couple of seconds to responds. She started to enter her tongue on Taeyeon’s and that the two shared a passionate kiss before Tiffany pulls out.
“I love You. I love you so much”
“I love you too. But are you okay?” Taeyeon can sense that something is bothering her.
“Yes, I’m fine because you’re here now. I love you so so much. I want you to believe me when I say that I love you”
Taeyeon doesn’t understand her but she choose not to ask her “I know. I know. I love you”
Tiffany then kisses her again more passionately that makes them both moan in each others mouth.
Taeyeon slightly push the eager Tiffany “If I am not so drowsy right noe, I will take you right here, right now and that walk on the park will be long forgotten”
“And I don’t think that will a bad idea. Too bad you can’t”
“You tease. Get out of here” Taeyeon playfully push her away
Tiffany teases her more by kissing her yet again with the same intensity.
“Stop,Fany-ah. Just go if you still want to be able to walk tomorrow”
“As if you can do that, sleepyhead” Tiffany laugh before going out of her office leaving a smiling Taeyeon inside.
The moment she close the door, Tiffany lean on it and her smile faded “If this is what will make you smile and happy then I will do it again and again even if I need to put a mask so that you won’t see my pain” Tiffany talks to herself as she wipes her tears that escape from her eyes,
Two hours later Tiffany is done cleaning the kitchen and tables. She’s now checking the sales when suddenly Taeyeon walks behind her and wrap her arms around her waist
“How’s your sleep, boo?” Tiffany ask while she’s still checking the sales.
“Good. One of the best I’ve ever had” Taeyeon replies as she gives Tiffany soft kisses on her neck that sends shivers to her girlfriend.
“Ahhmm. That’s good. We’ll go after I finish this”
“Okay” Taeyeon still back hugging her when she started kissing her hard on the neck that instantly makes Tiffany move her head to give her more access.
“Boo, stop. I am really sweaty” Tiffany tries to stop her but her body says otherwise.
“NO, you smell so good Boo.” Taeyeon continue kissing her on the neck that makes the girl moan.
“Tae~ ahhhmmm~” A moan escape from Tiffany when Taeyeon started sucking her pulse.
Tiffany finally finished checking the sales and when she locked the cashier drawer she takes Taeyeon’s head away from her neck to kiss her on the lips.
“If we continue this we might not be making it to the park” Tiffany says in between their kisses
“Just say that you don’t want to go then” Taeyeon replies while biting Tiffany’s lower lip
Tiffany gave her a long peck on the lips “You wish. Go get your bag. We’ll go now. I miss walking at the park with you”
Outside the cafe, not far from them is a woman who is smiling while watching them.
Taeyeon heads out of the cafe pushing her electronic scooter.
“Since when did you start riding that scooter?” Tiffany ask because it was the first time that she saw that.
“It’s been already 2 or 3 years I think”
Tiffany didn’t ask any further because she  wants Taeyeon to initiate the talks. Taeyeon put it on the trunk of Tiffany’s car while doing that, Taeyeon is trying to calm herself because she doesn't like  riding a car anymore.
“Boo, do you want to drive?” Tiffany is trying to find some answers to her long list of questions
“No, I don’t drive anymore” Taeyeon reply that grew more suspicious but Tiffany knows that ask her why.
“Okay. Get inside. Don’t worry, I’m a better driver than you” Tiffany tries to change the topic
“Excuse, since when did you become a good driver. I can’t remember” Taeyeon tells her with a wide smile painted on her face.
“Since you stop driving” Tiffany let out a laugh that makes Taeyeon laugh too.
“You cheater!”
Tiffany starts the engine and she saw Taeyeon stiffen on her seat before closing her eyes and holding tightly on the edge of her seat.
Tiffany let her be for the meantime because she is sure that a car ride has something to do with her 5 years ago. On the red light, Tiffany decided to make Taeyeon eyes open
“Boo” she softly calls her
Taeyeon replies with eyes still closed “Yes?”
“Can I hold you hand?”
Upon hearing her request, Taeyeon open her eyes and reluctantly give her hand to her. There is something that Taeyeon felt the moment her hand touches Tiffany’s. it was something that makes her feel safe inside a moving car.
Tiffany glance at Taeyeon who didn’t close her eyes again after they hold hands. Upon seeing the change on Taeyeon, she is happy that somehow she is able to help.
“I love you, Fany-ah”
“I love you too,Boo” Tiffany didn’t look at her but instead she kiss the back of Taeyeon’s hand.
For the first after 3 years, Taeyeon manage to look outside the window without having an anxiety attack. She somehow felt more relax but still the fear is still there.
Taeyeon thinks that letting Tiffany back into her life is not a bad decision. She is now thinking weather to tell her what happened to her 5 years ago or will she just kept it to herself.’
“Tae, are you okay?” Tiffany interrupted her thought
“Yes, just thinking of something” Taeyeon replies withour even looking at her
Tiffany knows what it was but still doesn’t want to force her “Taeyeon-ah, I want you to remember that I am here now. I hope when the time comes that you’re ready, you can tell me everything that is bothering you. Whatever it will be, I promise that nothing will change. I will be staying by your side. I will help you if needed”
“Thank you,Fany-ah” Taeyeon is really thankful to have Tiffany by her side again because she just gave her another reason not to give up and have courage to continue fighting for her life against her fear.
