Christmas Eve.
It was not an occasion that Taeyeon is looking forward. It was an occasion that she wanted to forget.
Christmas is a nightmare for her.
The girls are also didn't celebrate Christmas after what happened. Their family understands and they will just have a lunch with their own family before going to the house that they agreed to stay to look after Taeyeon.
Taeyeon and Tiffany is still not in good terms. Taeyeon is avoiding her. Tiffany is not herself.
It was a mess as what their friends say.
The cafe is only open half day. Taeyeon would want to stay at her apartment until Christmas season is over.
"Are you joining the girls for later?" Tiffany ask hoping that they could celebrate Christmas together.
"I have to go somewhere. Maybe I could come by if I still have time" Taeyeon calmly answer her.
Tiffany could only sigh "How long will you keep avoiding me, Taeyeon?"
"I am not avoiding you"
"Then what do you think you're doing?" Tiffany cannot stand the way Taeyeon treats her. She's looking at her and she saw her chuckle "Do you think this is funny? Fuck Taeyeon"
Tiffany loses her cool seeing Taeyeon is not affected by what was going on with them. It feels like she's doing it on purpose.
Taeyeon is about to speak when her phone suddenly rings and she saw it what Michelle "Where not done yet Taeyeon"
"Michelle" Tiffany answer her phone that makes Taeyeon to walk away.
"Tiff, you have to go home. Dad wants to see you"
"Why? Michelle what is really going on?" Tiffany suddenly feels so scared.
"Dad is dying. Stage 4 brain cancer"
"So Nickhun is telling the truth. Why didn't you tell me about it?" Tiffany is feeling bad. She neglected her dad. She hated him. And now, she is losing her father.
"I ask Nickhun to personally tell you. I can't go to you, the company is having a hard time. Nick and I are helping each other to save the company that dad build. Tiff, I know you and dad are not in good terms, but as your sister, please go home"
The begging on Michelle's voice makes her not to think. The only person in her family that she trust and the only person that will never betray her.
"Okay. I'm coming home with him" Tiffany tells her sister before hanging up.
When she turn around she saw Taeyeon standing behind her. "How long have you been standing there?"
"Long enough to her what I should know" A cold and angry Taeyeon is in front of her that scared the hell out of her.
"Tae, let me explain" Tiffany says but Taeyeon has no intention of hearing whatever she is about to tell her.
Taeyeon switched off all the lights "Go home"
With a heavy heart, Tiffany follows and waited for Taeyeon outside. This is not how she expected to celebrate Christmas. She bought gifts for all her friends. She bought a special gift for Taeyeon but how will she give it to them if this how Taeyeon and Tiffany will be during Christmas.
When Taeyeon locked the door she saw Nickhun walking to there direction "Tiff, your sister called me. Are you okay?"
Tiffany didn't know what gotten to her as she hug Nickhun the only person that she can have comfort "Thank you. I will call you"
They broke the hug and when Tiffany look around she saw Taeyeon is gone "Fuck!"
"What happened?" Nickhun concerned.
"Did you see where Taeyeon go?" Tiffany ask still looking around trying to see if she could catch her.
Nickhun is surprised, he didn't know that Taeyeon is there. It wasn't his intention to inflict trouble with Taeyeon because he finally realize after meeting his fiancée that Tiffany and Taeyeon are really meant for each other. "No, I didn't that she's here"
"Nick, I'll call you later. I need to find Taeyeon. She might misunderstood what she saw" Tiffany immediately get into her car and drive aimlessly hoping that she could see Taeyeon.
It's been an hour driving around but she still couldn't find her. Tiffany decided to drive to where the girls are hoping that Taeyeon run to where they are staying.
Arriving at Sooyoung's apartment where they decided to stay for the Christmas, Tiffany couldn't help but to cry as she saw Taeyeon is not there.
The girls got alarmed seeing her like that as soon as she walks in. Sunny has an idea as to what might happened.
"Unnie, why are you crying? What's wrong?" Seohyun is the first one to run to her.
Seohyun helps her sit on the couch while rubbing her back trying to calm her down. The girls couldn't help but to feel sad.
They thought that this year's Christmas will be different because Tiffany is there. And somehow her presence could bring hope to Taeyeon.
Seeing Tiffany like that makes them go back to square one. All hopes are gone. Worst is that two of their friends are hurting.
Sunny decided speak up "Fany, where is Taeyeon?"
"I don't know. Nickhun and I are talking outside the cafe. Then suddenly she's gone. I don't know what else to do. I tried to find her but I couldn't find her"
"Why does he have to go there knowing that Taeyeon is also there?"
"Nickhun is not like what you think he is. We're friends now. And my sister Michelle ask him to check on me. I need to go back home and Nickhun will go with me?" Tiffany explains but the girls didn't like the idea of her and Nickhun going back together knowing that Taeyeon hates that man.
Yuri hissed" Why does your sister ask him? And why do you need to go back to LA when you said that you're never going back there??"
Tiffany didn't like how Yuri sounded. It's like she is accusing her of something she didn't do" My dad needs me. My sister needs me. Our company needs me. And my dad is dying! What do you want me to do? I have to see my dad before he's gone. I want to say goodbye to him for the last time! "
The girls could only cover their mouth in shock. They never expected something like that would happen. Tiffany might tell everyone how much she hates her father, but her friends know her well that she never did hate him, she loves him so much.
" Did you tell Taeyeon about this?" 
"I'm about to tell her. But she's been very distant to me. I can't even talked to her. I don't know what to do! I can't leave Taeyeon. I need to see my dad. Why do I have to choose again?! Just why!!!?" Tiffany is getting very emotional as she continue telling them about what's happening to her. 
They cannot help but to feel bad about her. Why now they thought. The girls look at each other silently talking about what they should do to help their friends. 
It's not everyday that they will see Tiffany breakdown liket that. It was not thing to show her weakness but just like a scale that has a limit, she just reach her limit. 
"Girls" Sunny says as she nervously look at her ringing phone. She showed it to them who could only looked down. 
"Hi Mr.Lee"
"I'm sorry to call at this time. I think you need to be here. Taeyeon seems to be in distress. She's not drunk, not yet. But she's been crying. I have never see her like this before. Can you go here? I don't feel good with her current state" 
The call is on speaker. As soon as the call ended everyone are on their feet ready to go out not knowing what is waiting for them to where Taeyeon is.
