They land into the C.A.N.D.Y house. They see the boss and Smith alongside others discussing on something. The boss turns back and sees them. "Oh! We didn't notice you there!",  he talks with a relieved voice. They walk up to him. "Is it about the mysterious disappearance of people?", Carlos asks. The boss replies;"We need to get to the bottom of this." "I wonder what's or who's behind this", Amelia tells them feeling interested. The boss replies;"We'll find out soon." He takes the clique to a laptop. "Check out the pictures  of some who got missing!", he tells them. He starts showing them different pictures of people one after the other. After a while, he shows them the picture of an old man. Carlos leaves his mouth agape when he recognizes the man as someone that lives close to him.
"That man lives close to me", Carlos tells everyone. "This man was living alone before his disappearance. I'd love you to investigate his house as they'll be no one to interrupt you", the boss tells the spies. "Ok! Boss!", Amelia replies and changes to her costume using her watch. The rest except Carlos join her. Carlos who's still shocked, keeps on looking at the old man's picture. The boss sees it and calls him. "Carlos!", he calls. Carlos turns to him;"Yes! Boss!" "You ain't following them?", the boss asks pointing to his friends. "Oh! I totally forgot!", Carlos goes to stand beside them. Yanking creates the portal this time. They enter the portal together and it closes.

They appear inside the room of the man. The room looks normal, a proof to them, there was no fight in it. "I don't think we'll find anything useful here. The room's so tidy", says Dahlia. She tries to leave but Carlos holds her hand. "The news this morning said people went to sleep and weren't seen in the morning in their bedrooms", he tells her. "Do you see anything useful here?", Amelia asks him. "Let's just look around like what Nick and Yanking are already doing", Carlos tells the two girls.
They check round the room. They get tired after a very long investigation finding no useful source of information. Yanking gets tired, places his hands on his waist and says; "I give up!" He rests on the bed and the others decide to join him as well. They sit on the bed thinking deeply. Carlos is annoyed. "I've never been so confused in my life", he says. Nick sighs and lays on the bed;"I've always been solving puzzles within few minutes but, not now. What could be the reason behind this?" They lay on the bed quietly.

They're back in the C.A.N.D.Y house and it's already past 6 in the evening. "What did you guys find?", the boss asks. Carlos replies, looking frustrated;"We found nothing." The boss notices the frustration on their faces and laughs. He tells them;"Seems like you guys are gonna get the dream mystery and terrifying danger you guys were wishing for." They look at themselves. "You guys can go home!", the boss adds. He creates a dimensional portal. The heroes enter the portal and all land on their beds in their different homes asleep.

Jake, Amelia's friend and neighbor, is at home drinking a bottle of Yo-Milk beside the kitchen. His older brother, Jason, enters the house feeling tired. "Hey! Bro!", Jason calls on Jake. Jake replies;"Welcome bro! You came back quite early today!" "Yeah! I had to!", Jason replies. Jake takes another gulp. The spider's now at the the bottle top. As he takes an extra gulp, the spider jumps into his mouth and swims into the body. Jake finally finishes his drink whole. He suddenly starts feeling sleepy. He gets up and tells his bro;"I think I'd love to get some sleep." "Goodnight Jake!", Jason replies to his bro. Jake goes into his room. Jason goes up to his room, also feeling sleepy.

Jake's sleeping deeply. The spider goes right into the bloodstream. It releases a greenish liquid substance. The substance now circulates round the body system, putting him to dead sleep. After a while, a portal appears underneath him while sleeping. Jake's falls into the portal slowly in his dead sleep state. The portal closes after he enters it. Jake's now gone!

Dr Williams is in his lab, drinking water. A portal opens and Jake lands slowly on the ground amongst other unconscious people. Dr Williams laughs loudly. He speaks;"Yes! Bring more people fellas! They can really be useful for my strength." He walks past the unconscious people with a great smirk on his face. "Just a little more days and, I'll be so powerful", he concludes. He laughs more and more as he sees more unconscious people dropping slowly.
