Serena's POV
Men in black cloaks appeared right infront of me. The people of Rivendell.
WHAT THE HELL?!
"What are you waiting for? Kill her!" Their leader commanded. They started attacking me but I dodge all of it.
Good thing Mom taught me on how to summon air spikes and air blades. Atleast, I can protect myself. And I manage to block the magic balls they're sending into my way.
They are attacking continuesly. They we're about a hundreds and I was only one! I thought they all died?
"SHIT!" I cursed when my left knee was wounded. I fell on the ground. I groaned in pain and before I could stood up, half of my body up to my shoulders we're chained by a black smoke.
I tried to move my body but I couldn't. I can't free myself from the black magic that is surrounding me. I was stuck in the ground and my body was frozen that I couldn't even move a finger. Dang! Did I just get myself into trouble? I cursed mentally.
I look at them and they we're surrounding me. The surrounding suddenly became dark because the huge trees is blocking the light from the moon but I can see them.
"What are you waiting for? Kill her!" Their leader yelled.
I started shaking in pure nervousness, panic and fear. I tried to move my body again but I can't really move.
I gasped and screamed when I saw lots of magic balls coming my way. I shut my eyes close and just hoped some gods out there will come to my rescue and hoped I couldn't feel the pain of being struck by magic but I felt nothing.
Instead, I felt a strong energy coming out of me then I heard a low screams and screeches around me. Slowly, I felt that I am now freed from the black smoke that chained me. I collapse at the grass.
After a minute, I slowly opened my eyes. I look around and only ashes of the men in cloaks were seen. I survived. I breathe a sigh of relief. But I can still feel my heart beats pumping fast on my chest.
But then, I stopped breathing when I heard footsteps from my behind. I quickly turned around summoning a magic ball if incase but I found a woman wearing a white cloak walking away. I am certain it is a woman base on her long hair.
Did she perhaps saved me?
"WAIT!" I called out but she was already gone.

I woke up the day after light headed. I was able to return home last night. Until now, I am still wondering who is that woman who saved me. I am more concern to know who is that woman rather than knowing how the people of Rivendell got here. I thought it is safe here. That I am safe here but I guess I am not anymore.
"...so as I mentioned we will be going at the forest just at the back of our Academy for your experiment. I had already assigned your respective groups last time so stick with it."
I scratch my head. Right. Cheska's my group mate, unfortunately. We were having our second to the last subject today. I thought of not entering class today because I am too overwhelmed in the happenings last night but I had to. If Mom knows about it, I will surely be in bigger trouble.
Cheska looked into my direction and as usual, she glared at me. I sigh. We really just have to accept the fact that we are not everyone's cup of tea. She hates me and there's nothing I can do about it.
When we arrived at the forest, our Professor gave out instructions before we enter inside the forest. He said there's no wild animals or anything but we still need to be careful.
"Be sure to comeback after 30 minutes." He strictly instructed.
And with that, we started walking inside the forest.
Third Person's POV
"You know Cheska, instead of picking a fight with me, why don't you find the things we needed in our experiment? You think I like the idea of me being grouped with you?" Serena hissed.
She's been holding back her anger since Cheska is always starting an argument with her. Serena has been tempted a lot to just use her magic against Cheska to stop her.
Cheska on the other hand just rolled her eyes and is fuming with anger.
"Wow. Do you think I also liked the idea of being with you?" she yelled, her voice starting to get high.
She doesn't want to see Serena's face. Recently, she found out that they wanted Serena to replace her in her cheerleader position. And although Serena did not accept the offer, still she feels threatened by her.
Their group mates were just looking at them, fighting. They were scared to even speak just one word. They knew Cheska's temper.
"Whatever!" Serena said and just continued to walk.
She didn't mind Cheska even though she's still talking behind her back. Serena know that if she talks back, they'll just end up fighting.
Just when they reached a high slope, Cheska smiled evily as an idea popped in her head.
"Say good bye to everyone Serena. I didn't succeed on my first plan but this time, I will make sure I will succeed." Cheska said to herself. She hit Serena by her head when she was walking home. Unfortunately, Serena survived that.
"I think we---"
But before Serena could finish her sentence, Cheska push her, hard.
"AHHHH!" Serena screams as she falls right into the high slope. She was caught by surprise. She didn't thought Cheska is at her back and that she will push her down. Her mind wasn't functioning.
Cheska was left standing at the top smirking and even waved her hand a good bye.
"Good bye Serena." She mutter. Not a small guilt is seen at her face.
She thought that even if Serena will be harmed, no one will know she is behind it since their group mates are far from them.
Cheska then smirked and smiled, satisfied and turn around to leave. But she just took a three small steps when suddenly a strong force pushed her down the slope following Serena.
She screamed for her life.
And her screams went on as she rolled down.
And in a spot not far from the slope, a woman wearing a white cloak was standing. She is looking sharply at Cheska who is now falling down.
"No one eve got the right to hurt my Serena," she spoke in a cold and stern voice.
