When I slowly opened my eyes the next day. I heard a chirping of the wings, a barking from the neighbor's dog. And I saw the sun shining from the window onto my bed. Just as I was about to turn to wake Nathan up, I realized he wasn't lying next to me. I looked around the room but didn't see him. I got up immediately and ran downstairs, but I didn't see him downstairs either. Nobody was in the living room or the kitchen.
I started calling for Nathan hoping he could hear me. "Babe! Baby!! Nathan!!" I yelled over and over again but he didn't give a peep. Just as I called out to him for the last time and was about to stop listening. I heard a voice say "yeah babe?" I immediately turned and saw Nathan. He smiled happily at me and I started to smile too. "I thought you were gone again..." I mumbled smiling and he looked at me confused. I could tell from his eyes that he was confused and didn't know what I meant, but deep down he knew exactly what I meant.
"Where should I go?" he asked confused, slowly pulling me towards him and I wrapped my hands around his neck. "To her..." I whispered as quietly as possible, because I was ashamed of thinking like that, but I couldn't do anything else. I just couldn't get it out of my head, although it's wrong to think all the time, I just can't help it. "Baby from now on I'll spend as much time as I can with you I promise", he repeated to himself, with these words he made me smile even if it was something normal I just had to smile.
I couldn't do anything else and pulled him to me to kiss him afterwards. He returned the kiss and we both smiled into the kiss. As we broke up he pulled me into the garden where I saw he was preparing breakfast. He smiled sweetly at me and I went over to kiss him. However, he avoided me and started to grin. "That's mean!" I complained, starting to pout. He looked at me sweetly and came up to me and kissed my forehead for a long time.
"I love you princess," he whispered in my ear. I started to smile, I loved it when he called me princess, babe, baby or whatever. "Can't I have an I love you too baby?" he asked me. I started to grin. "Nope" was all I said and ran to the table. I sat down and started eating. Nathan slowly came to the table and sat down next to me, annoyed. "You're so..." he started to talk but stopped. "I'm something like that?" I asked him, waiting for an answer but didn't get one.
"What a bitch," he replied and I started to grin. "And you're a jerk," I replied, he started grinning too. We started having breakfast together and we talked about everything. The issue of Kaitlin was left unopened, which was probably for the better. "And babe what are we doing today?" I asked him and he was about to start talking until his phone rang and I gotta guess three times who it is. Kaitlin, of course. "Wait baby I'll take a quick look then I'm 100% with you," he said and I nodded slowly. It was so nice until she called, but after that it's probably going to be the worst thing that's going to happen.
I waited and waited and only after 10 minutes he came back, but not smiling. "And?" I asked him softly. "I gotta go babe..." he murmured and once again disappeared before I could say anything. I looked after him in disappointment, hoping that he might turn you around again and decide to stay with me this time. Hoping he remembers his promise. But it wasn't like that, he almost sprinted to her, he ran so fast that after 15 seconds you couldn't see him anymore.
I stayed in the same position for several minutes. Until I got up slowly, I looked at the breakfast table with tears in my eyes. I slowly took the glass from him and threw it on the floor. Then I took the next plate and threw it on the floor as well. Always so on. The only thing I didn't throw on the floor was the plates that were full of food. When I was done, I went in crying and threw myself on the sofa. How much I hated her and how angry I was with him for going to her again.
But she shouldn't be okay with that, she always ruins our moments, so I ruin hers. I immediately went upstairs and quickly took a shower. I started to relax and slowly calmed down. But the anger towards her remained. When I finished showering, I shut off the water and wrapped a towel around my body and one around my hair. I left the bathroom and went to my closet. I was looking for the perfect outfit, an outfit where he would get jealous as well, but also an outfit where his thoughts would be with me all the time and focused on me.
Once I found the perfect outfit, I started doing my makeup, doing my hair and then I put on my dress. On styled I called Jack and asked him to come over. First of all, I was bored and he's a really good distraction and a lot of fun with him. And secondly, Nathan hates that we get along so well, but can't do anything about it since he has a lot to do with Kaitlin himself. He immediately agreed and made his way to me.
I decided to get some snacks out and put them in the garden. I put the drinks in the freezer in the garden to keep them cold. And the alcohol, I put it in a bucket full of ice. So it stayed nice and cold and it looked nice. In addition, alcohol should never be missing if you want to have fun with friends.
I took a picture of all the stuff and put it on my instagram story and tagged Jack. So Nathan could see my story, get upset, call me. But unfortunately I wouldn't answer because I'm too busy and my cell phone is off. Of course he would also call the house phone, but nobody would answer that either. After that he would like to go to my place, but he can't because Kaitlin will 100% stop him with the lies that she needs him and that she's feeling bad. So he stays with her, but his thoughts are with me the whole time.
Just as I was about to finish, the doorbell rang and of course I immediately ran to the door. As expected, it was Jack as I gave him a tight hug in greeting. I invited him in and that's how the fun started.
