After the night Ryza and Bryan talked and created a friendship, Ryza realized that having someone to rely on is one of the best feelings. She realized that friendship makes people's lives more colorful and fun. So she continues their bonds and consulting each other and then one day. . .
Ryza is studying in a Public School and on the first day of class, she remembers Lara, the girl she met when she's a Junior High School student. Her face changed, her excitement turned into sadness and then she suddenly missed her grandma. The memories in her mind are keeping her alive and to strive for progress.
She went in the gate and she saw a boy who's looking at her and waiting for her to come closer to him. She feels like the boy is very familiar so she comes closer and closer. A seconds after, the boy shouted with an excited voice. . .
"Ryza?!" The boy exclaimed.
"You know me?" She responded.
"It's me Bryan, Bryan Mendoza. Mate(24/7) you forgot? The boy who called you last time?" He then put his bag on this right arm.
"Bryan? Is that really you? Are you joking?"
"Yeah It's me Mate." Bakas sa mukha niya ang saya.
"Yeah you're right, you're not joking. When I first saw you, I saw why your face is very familiar to me but I didn't expect to see you here in school? What grade are you?" Tinanong ko siya para malaman kung hindi siya nagsisinungaling.
"Grade Eleven Stem Star, what about you?" Wow and talino pala niya.
"Really? Me too, what does it mean? Are you really a Grade Eleven Stem Star? We're the same grade and section!" Mabuti nalang at may kaklase akong pogi. Si Bryan pa talaga.
"Aren't you happy mate?" Napayuko ako habang tinatanong iyun.
"No, I'm not. I'm really happy that it's my first day of school and I saw you here, it's unexpected Bryan, you surprised me." Sino ba naman ang hindi maging masaya, eh unang call namin, hindi ko inaasahan na magka klase pala kami.
"Now I have someone on my side, if I seek help would you help me Mate?" Naks, para namang MMK ang istorya namin.
"Why not? You said we're friends, so let's prove it." Anong prove it, prove it ka diyan.
Masaya naman ako na may kilala ako sa skwelahan, at si Bryan iyun. Masaya din ako na marami na namang babae ang hahabol sa kanya kase ang gwapp niya sa personal.
"So you're saying YES Mate?" Hayst, para talaga siyang bata na binigyan ng lollipop.
"Wouldn't I? Of Course we're friends now. Thank you so much Bryan." Sabay tapik sa mga balikta niya.
Hindi naman ako gaano ka swerte dahil dumating siya, siguro masaya lang ako. Dala lang ng nararamdaman ko na sa buong buhay ko wala akong kaibigan.
"Now, I have Mate on my side, let's go upstairs. Our class will start in 10 mins. We need to be on time, Mate."
At dali-dali kaming umakyat ng hagdan para pumuntang classroom namin. Natagalan pa kaming mahanap iyun dahil ang laki ng skwelahan, kung bago ka talaga siguradong mawawala ka.
The Class Started. . . pumasok na rin si ma'am, ang guro namin.
Ryza's POV
Wow, I did not expect that I would have a lot of classmates, yeah it's a City Ryza and you need to wake up. Here, you can encounter lots of people, thousands, thousands of people and lots of cars and buildings. City is different from the Province, okay. I'm happy that I met Bryan here and he's my classmate too, is it destiny? (slapping her face)hey Ryza what are you doing? Your imagination is so cringe. On the other hand, Bryan's seat is beside me. I'm on my right side, I'm staring at him and I just felt something illegal, he's so damn attractive tho', clear skin, pointed nose, a black hair, nice eyebrows, a curved lips and he's handsome. (Slapping her face again) Ryza what's happening to you, I need to get my pen and books. Class will start 2 mins after.
"Okay class good morning, I'm your teacher for this subject Pre-Calculus. I am Regine Alcala and you can call me ma'am Reg. Okay, so before we start our class let's pray first. Who wants to lead the prayer for today?"
Tumingin tingin si ma'am sa aming lahat na parang naghahanap ng matatawag. Kaya ako hindi na ako nag dalawang isip pa na magtaas ng kamay o mag volunteer ba ang tawag doon? Ah basta.
Ryza is raising her hand.
"Okay what's your name miss?" Tanong ng guro na nakatuon ang dalawang mata sa akin.
"I am Ryza Maria S. Aquino ma'am." At mahinahong tumayo ako.
"Okay Ryza. Lead the prayer." Sabay sabay namang tumahimik ang mga kaklase ko at nagsi pikit ang mga mata nila.
After I led the prayer, our class started and after we discussed the topic, ma'am Reg gave us a test.
(Recess Time)
"Hi mate! Let's go buy something?" Sobrang energetic na boses ni Bryan. Hindi ko alam kung saan niya iyun kinukuha.
"Just go Bryan, I'm not in the mood now, I don't want to stand up okay."
Sino ba naman ang mawalan ng mood, ang aga aga nagkaroon ako mg bisita.
"Okay, just tell me what you want, I'll buy it no problem." Mabait si Bryan, mabuti nalang kahit pabebe ako may nagsusuyo sa akin.
Total bibilhan niya na rin naman ako, why not diba.
"You sure? I want burgers and fries and also cold water. I don't like coke, just water please." Tama na siguro iyan, well, ako naman ay masyadong matakaw kung dadamihan ko pa.
Dali dali namang umalis si Bryan papuntang canteen, ang mga babae sa paligid ko nakikita ko lang na nagsusunggaban, siguro ako naman ang topiko nila. Ah bahala sila sa buhay nila, mamamatay sila sa chismis. Ika nga, kapag inggit, pikit.
"Okay, wait me here okay, don't stand up, you said you don't want to stand up so just sit here 'till I come back."
Bryan has a five nine cm height with a forty-two kilogram weight. He grew up in a City and his family have vineyards and he's also an only child but he's not a spoiled child. His mother disciplined him tightly because his parents are strict so Bryan grew up in a rich family but he doesn't want to study in a private school because for him it's more fun to study when your school is public. He is a seventeen year old handsome boy with a handsome brain and a handsome wallet. He's kind-hearted, humble and very stingy. He's also a transferee student and take note that Bryan Mendoza is a man of few words. He doesn't talk much except if it's her closest friend or something. He always wants a private and quiet place when he's studying. He's also good at math(solving and very brainy) but in their section only he talks to Ryza Maria.
Minutes passed by, nakita ko na ang mukha ni Bryan na may dalang burger.
"Mate I'm back! Here's your burger and fries and cold water. Are you feeling well or not?" Pahingal na sabi niya. Kaya nag-abot ako ng panyo ko para ipunas niya sa tumatagaktak niyang pawis.
"I'm okay Bryan, thanks for asking. How about you? You don't talk much, tell me some of your favorites."
"My favorite is you, kidding Mate. I don't have favoritism tho' it's hard to choose when it comes to foods and drinks but I prefer water. I love black and white color and also reading.I dislike vices and partying tho' it's weird for me." Lakas maka banat ah, naku bahala ka diyan.
"But you're attractive Bry, you're smart and so humble, you see that in yourself?" Totoo naman kase. Anyways, bakit ko pala nasabi iyun?
"Yeah but being attractive doesn't mean to me, I don't care I just do what I want and I don't care if people judge me as long as I myself know my true color." Sad naman ng buhay niya kung gano'n.
(Recess End)
Nagsibalikan na sa mga classroom nila ang bawat estudyante. Paubos nang paubos ang mga tao sa paligid kase pumasok na. Kaya bumalik na rin kami ni Bryan.
"Bry class will start in 2 mins. Thank you for buying me something, next time I'll treat you whatever you want.Good luck." At bigla na akong umalis, ayokona mang stay.
Bryan's POV
Ryza is so pretty, very comfortable and good at understanding people's situation. Does anyone in our section like her? Please don't I want to have a good relationship with her. She's a good friend and looks at her Bry like a diamond shining beside me. Earlier when I met her my heart was beating so fast because anyone who encountered her would fall for her. She's so pretty, absolutely pretty.
(Class Ended and Lunch Time)
Rysa is approaching to Bryan's seat.
"Bry, where do you want to eat lunch in the canteen area? I want to eat with you. Is it okay?." She uttered while carrying her bag.
"Sure! Let's go to the nearest restaurant here in our school, my driver is coming, let's just wait for him." Gusto ko siyang itreat palagi, I have money so why not diba.
"Oh I don't have a big amount of money, I said earlier that I wanted to treat you." I looked at her face na sobrang cute. Ang sarap pisilin.
"It's okay Mate, I'll treat you. I'll order all of your favorite foods okay, don't worry. Oh my driver is here, let's go mate." Good timing, I have my car and my driver on time, no hussle.
They ordered food and drinks. Bryan treats Ryza and they eat together with their driver at the nearest restaurant in their school and it's also one of the famous restau. After they finished their food, they ordered some dessert and drinks. Before they go back to the campus, they first go to the book store and buy some comic books. After a while Bryan's driver dropped them in front of their school gate. 12:15 pm and they have 30 mins left before their class will start.
"Bryan, thank you so much for treating me to lunch. You know what, you're good at guessing people's favorite and you're good at choosing dishes tho' ." I want to kiss her, she's so cute while uttering those words.
"Yeah I see, you're always welcome mate, it's you, no one can say NO when you're asking tho', you're too cute to decline." Mabuti naman at ako ang pinipili niya palagi.
"You're flattering me? Please don't. I don't want to be flattered by you." She complained.
"Its okay Mate, don't be shy when you're with me because all the time that I spend with you it's meaningful to me." True. I don't want her to feel bad and its normal for me.
"You're one in a million! I'm happy that you're my friend, wait I want to buy some ice cream you want?"
"Sure, cookies and cream flavor?" I know she also likes that flavor.
"You also want that? Me too. Sure wait for me here okay."
"Here's your ice cream sir Bryan HAHAHAHA."
"Thank you, my lady."
Bell is Ringing, time for the afternoon class
"Lets Go Mate, class will start, after you finish your ice cream let's get in okay?" At dali dali niya iyung inubos.
"Sure, sure no problem."
After Ryza fished her ice cream they both get inside the school and go to their classroom and they prepare for another test for their Oral Communication subject. After the class ended, they both went home and said goodbye to each other.
"Bye Bryan, thanks for today, see you tomorrow." Another day na kasama ko siya, feels like a whole year para sa akin.
"You too, take care and God bless, see you tomorrow." At nagpa alam na rin ako. I want to drive her home pero umayaw siya, okay lang naman. At least kasama ko siya buong araw.
