ISANG malakas na paghila ng buhok ang naramdaman ni Ashannah nung papasok na sya sa gate ng kanilang paaralan. Agad syang napaatras dahil galing sa likod ang humila ng buhok nya
"Ouch!" daing nya nang higpitan ng kung sino man ang pagkakasabunot sa kanya
"Did you know what Ashannah? Ythaniel left me at the bar last night because of you" the person whispered in her ears and she knows who it is. Napangiwi sya sa sinabi nito
"I don't know what you're talking about Paulina. Let go of my hair please" Ashannah pleaded. Marami rami na rin ang nanonood sa munting eksina nila dahil naka harang sila sa daan papasok sa paaralan. As long as she can control her Patience, she will. She's not that kind of a girl na papatol agad sa umaaway sa kanila. She knows when to fight back
"You don't know? Ipapaalala ko lang sa'yo Ashannah. Mag isa ka lang sa mansion nyu kagabi dahil nasa out of town ang mga magulang nyu ni Ythaniel kaya kinakailangan nyang umuwi para may makasama ka. He left me alone at the bar just to babysit you!" Mariing saad ni Paulina na ikinangiwi ni Ashannah. Pinikit nya ng mariin ang mga mata nang higpitan ni Paulina ang pagkakasabunot sa kanya. Nakahawak sya sa kanyang buhok para kahit papaano ay mabawasan ang sakit ng pagkakasabunot ni Paulina sa kanya ngunit ramdam nya parin ang pag init ng anit nya.
"Ano ba ang ikinagagalit mo Paulina? Hindi ka naman girlfriend ng kapatid ko pero kung maka asta ka parang jowa ka nya ah?" Sagot ni Ashannah kay Paulina na ikinagalit ng huli
"You b*tch!" Galit na sigaw ni Paulina at kinaladkad si Ashannah habang hila hila ang buhok ng huli
"Ouch! Let go of me Paulina! You're hurting me!" sigaw ni Ashannah kay Paulina habang tumutulo ang luha nya dahil sa sakit ng pagkakasabunot nito. Napahinto si Paulina sa paglalakad kaya napahinto din sya
"Y-Ythaniel?"
"Let go of her. Now!" isang baritonong boses ang narinig ni Ashannah bago binitiwan ni Paulina ang buhok nya. Inayos ni Ashannah ang buhok at yumuko
"What do you think you're doing, Ms. Ramiso?" Ythaniel ask in a cold deep voice
"I... I was just giving her a lesson" Paulina answered
"I am her brother and I don't do such things because I know that my sister knows what is right and what is wrong. Do you think that dragging her while pulling her hair is right? Is that what you want her to learn from you?" A very serious tone Ythaniel used that made Paulina felt nervous while Ashannah is doing her best to contain her sobs
"It's you fault! You left me at the bar last night! I thought we're having fun?" Paulina shouted. Ythaniel remain stoic
"That is what you thought, Ms. Ramiso. If I saw you hurting or pulling my sister's hair next time I won't think twice to call your parents at the Dean's office. Dare me" Ythaniel's words before leaving everyone with Ashannah. Huminto sila sa tapat ng school clinic
"Is it still hurt? Are you in pain?" Ythaniel ask his sister while wiping her tears.
"Uhm... Yeah... a little, Brother" Ashannah answered. Ythaniel took a deep breath then he hold Ashannah's shoulder
"I told you to stay away from trouble, Asheng! Why are you so hard headed?" Ythaniel's said in frustration
"Ehh? I am not the one who's coming in trouble. It's the trouble who's always after me" Ashannah answered while pouting in front of Ythaniel
"You.... You.... Argh!.. It is because you're a trouble magnet!" Ythaniel answered her
"Hey! that was below the belt brother!" Ashannah shouted
"But that's the truth" Ythaniel countered back
"Argh!! I hate you!" Ashannah tapping her foot at the ground while still pouting her lips. Ythaniel mess his sister's hair
"Ouch! Ouch! It hurts Bother!" Inis na saad ni Ashannah sa kapatid
"Tss! come her" Ythaniel pulled Ashannah inside the clinic
"Oh? What happened to you again, Asheng?" The school nurse asked the moment they entered the school clinic. Sa araw araw ba naman syang napapasabak sa gulo ay talagang magiging suki na sya ng school clinic kaya kilala na sya ng school nurse
"Can you please hand me a bucket of ice cube, Ms. Fritz? And please put it in a small cloth" Ythaniel kindly ask
"Okay, wait me here" Ms. Fritz, the school nurse, answered
'Di naman nagtagal at bumalik din si Ms. Fritz na daladala ang hiningi ni Ythaniel. Ythaniel accepted the ice cube in a small cloth that Ms. Fritz handed to him then he put it in Ashannah's head
"Tell me what happened again this time?" Ms. Fritz asked them
"Sinabunutan ni Ms. Ramiso" Ythaniel answered
"Paulina Ramiso? That girl is a b*tch sometimes" Ms. Fritz commented
"It's not sometimes. Replace the word sometimes with every time. Hmp!" Ashannah said that made Ythaniel chuckled
"Tinatawa-tawa mo brother? Masaya ka?" Ashannah asked
"Stop being a br*t, Sissy" Ythaniel said that made Ashannah rolled her eye balls
"Okay na.. Let's go, Brother. Hindi pa time. Makakaabot pa tayo sa first subject natin. Thanks for helping me again, Ms. Fritz" Ashannah said then she pulled Ythaniel up from his chair and went out from the school clinic after Ms. Fritz said her 'You're welcome'
"Don't pull me" Ythaniel said
"Arte Arte ehh kasalanan mo naman kung bakit nagyari sa akin yun. Makikipaglamp*gan ka kay Paulina pa. Hmp!" Ashannah said then she let go of Ythaniel's hand
"I don't fl*rt with her" Ythan countered back
"You do! Look what she have done to me!" Ashannah said
"Okay... Now quite. I'll walk you to your room. Faster" Ythan said
"Ikaw sabunutan ko ehh. Susungitan mo pa ako. Sumbong kita kay Dad" Ashannah childishly said
"Then what are you gonna tell him? About how br*t you are in school?" Ythan teases his sister
"I am not a br*t! Paulina is!" Asheng said
"Yes you are. Look at your self right now. Is that what you called not a br*t?" Ythan said
"I don't know if you're my brother or not. You always tease me when nobody's around" Ashannah said
"Don't worry. You're my br*tty little sissy" Ythan said the laugh
"I hate you!" Ashannah said
"You don't mean that" Ythan countered
"Yes I do. By the way, thanks for walking me here" Ashannah said then step inside her room. A small smile appeared in Ythan's face while looking at his sister's back. It's really nice to tease his sister everyday. It always made his day
ASHANNAH'S POV
"Oh? Anong nangyari sa'yo at parang napasabak ka sa napakalaking gyera?" Fayrea asked me when I sat beside her
"Stop teasing me Fayrea. I will pull your tounge out of your mouth if you'll continue teasing me" irritation fill me when I saw her smirking
"I know you can't do that my dear" she confidently said while smirking
"I hate you all! Why are you teasing me early this morning huh?" Parang gusto kong mag dabog ng tumawa si Avia na nasa kabilang upuan, katabi ko rin
"We love to see your face when you get annoyed, my dear. That's why Ythaniel always teasing you because you easily get annoyed" Avia said that made me pout
Is that the reason why brother loves teasing me? They love seeing me get annoyed? Huhuhu. They're bad
"Hala! Fayrea! Anong ginawa mo? Umiiyak na si Asheng" Avia said. Taranta syang tumingin sa akin
"Anong ako? Ikaw nga dyan ang may sinabi eh. Bakit sa'kin napunta ang sisi?" Fayrea countered
Sunod sunod na nagsibagsakan ang mga luha ko. Eh? Ba't ang babaw ng luha ko ngayon?
"Hey! Asheng. I didn't mean to say those words. Can you please stop crying my dear?" Avia talked to me but I didn't listen. Huwaaa!! Bakit ba kasi ako umiiyak?
"Oh sh*t Avia! What have you done? Ano ba kasing sinabi mo at sumakit ang bulumbulunan ng babaeng to?" Fayrea ask then she started to wipe my tears.
"Hey! Asheng stop na. Lagot tayo kay Ythaniel nito eh" nagaalalang saad ni Fayrea. Nang maramdanan kong okay na ako ay ngumiti ako sa kanila
"I'm okay. Don't worry" I said to them that made them stop what they're doing
"Seriously Asheng? You're okay? What the h*ll! Eh kanina lang kung maka ngawa ka para kang baka tapos biglang okay kana agad? Wow! Just wow!" Fayrea said
Umayos na kami ng upo nang biglang pumasok ang Professor namin. Actually I am at third year college now taking Business Administration Major in Marketing
"Good morning class. Today--" naputol ang sasabihin ni Prof nang may kumatok bigla sa pintuan. Pinuntahan nya ito at binuksan
"Oh Mr. delos Reyes. what can I do for you?" Prof asked that made me turn my head to the door and there I saw my brother standing outside while facing our professor
"I'm looking for Ms. Zacharias, Prof. Can I talk to her?" Napakunot ang nuo ko sa narinig. Ako? Anong kailangan nya?
"You're on your red tide Asheng, right? That's why you're very sensitive right now" bulong ni Avia sa akin. What? Red tide? Hala! Anong petsa naba ngayon?
"It's 15 in the month of August" napatingin ako kay Fayrea nang magsalita sya
"Hala! Bakit 'di ko napansin?" Bulalas ko na ikina face palm nila
"Kindly go out Ms. Zacharias. It seems that Mr. delos Reyes have something important to tell you" Prof said. Isinukbit ko ang bag ko sa balikat ko at tumayo
"Thanks prof" saad ko bago naglakad palabas ng room
Nang makalabas ako ay agad along hinila ni Ythaniel at pinatalikod
"Sabi ko na nga ba may red tide ka eh. May masakit ba sa'yo?" Ythaniel asked. Saktong nagtanong sya ay sumakit bigla ang puson ko
"Ahh sh*t brother! I'm having a cramps!" Daing ko habang nakabaluktot
"Oh h*ll. Why did you forget that it's your red day today?" Ythan said then carry me into bridal style. Napakapit ako sa leeg nya at doon kumuha ng lakas para Hindi ako mapasigaw sa sakit. It's h*llish!
"I will bring you home. Hindi ka naman makakapag aral ngayon ng maayos at Hindi rin naman kita pwedeng pabayaan. I need to look after you. Walang mag aalaga sa'yo sa bahay dahil wala si Mom at Dad so I'm your babysitter this time" gusto ko man syang sapukin ay hindi ko magawa. I'm into so much pain right now
Naramdaman kong pinaupo nya ako sa loob ng sasakyan nya at kinabitan ng seatbelt. Maya maya lang ay sumakay na rin sya at pinaandar na ang sasakyan pauwi sa mansion
