v. rookie crashers

Ellevythrane's Point of View
Nagsilabasan na rin ang mga kaklase ko. But the heaviness of the atmosphere hadn't subsided.
Though, I'm used to it. I healed a lot of people and received compliments. I didn't give second chances to my targets and got criticized.
A warning that I should walk with the same pace as her.
"So, tell me. Why did you enroll here?" tanong niya.
"I want to help. I want to save lives," sagot ko saka ngumiti ng bahagya.
"That's cliché."
We heal because we want to save lives."
She chuckled. "How innocent."
Her gaze were light but she could made my classmates' spine shiver. Her gaze wouldn't be enough to match Prince Rei's.
"Will you please behave?! I don't want to clean up your mess anymore," sigaw niya sa kanila as if she didn't uttered 'How innocent.'.
This lady. . .
Even if she wouldn't say it, I knew what she meant about being innocent. In the field of healing, no healer would heal without rewards. That was the reality of this world. Rewards became the goal instead of saving lives. And healers were capable of taking lives as well. Me. . . as an example.
Despite that cruel fact, healers were considered as one of the most important foundation of a Kingdom. They strengthen the knighthood. Even Frethurna Kingdom, my birthplace, which was considered as the realm of the greatest swordmen, couldn't defeat Astraine Kingdom which owned a vast number of healers.
But because of that, arrogance was born that bears toxicity. Wala silang pinagkakatiwalaan.
It didn't moved and their eyes were blurred.
Were they trying to fool a new student who had better experience than them?
"Okay, who wants to try first?" tanong ng Professor.
"Prof Lirya, how about the new student?" rekomendasyon ng isa kong kaklase.
"Nice idea." "I also want to know what she's capable of."
They still want me to heal something dead already? . . It was still early to reveal my true color.
"Elle, go for it. Total first try mo pa naman 'to, 'di ba?" dugtong na tanong ni Reth. Her warm smile turned into a smirk pero ngumiti pa rin ako.
"Yes, ito ang una kong trial. Wish me luck."
Humiliating smiles filled their faces. Inferiority complex. They acted as if they admire Reth but they just felt inferior.
How entertaining.
"Explain it to her, Reth."
"Focus your mana on your palms then transfer it to the fish. You will feel the fibers of their muscles and slowly regenerate it. But don't add to match mana or the fish might explode," pagpapaliwanag niya.
I placed it on the dry edge of the pond and placed my palms centimeters above it. As anticipated, it was already lifeless. I bit my lower lip nang mapigilan kong humalakhak.
Sorry, fish. I need to do this for the show.
The fish exploded and it scattered to the water and on the ground. My hands were covered with it's blood as well.
This was Prince Rei's brutality.
I already had enough stain on my clothes. "I-I think, kailangan ko pa ng training."
"Look at you, gusto mo yatang maging criminal kaysa sa maging isang healer."
"You're hopeless."
"But thanks to Reth, hindi ka aalisin sa klaseng 'to, K I L L E R."
They meant that. They waited for this moment but unfortunately, sila ang mga inosente rito
Pagpasok namin, the students who entered were too stunned and speechless to say anything. I drew disgusts from their gazes
"You know what, the healing class was considered the most brutal class at the whole academy," panimula ni Reth habang binuksan ang gripo ng tubig.
"We got covered with blood and like earlier, we hurt animals to heal them. Aren't we the most brutal among the rest of the classes?"
"Why are you telling me all of this, Class Rep?" tanong ko kaya tumigil siya.
Nakipag-staring contest muna siya sa 'kin. She made it look like that but she was observing the environment. Her warm smile turned into a creepy smirk.
Did she just revealed those hidden fangs?
But, I didn't move and stayed still. Kung may gagawin ako sa kanya, I would be suspected at sa halip na ako ang may target, ako naman ang gagawing target nila. I couldn't waste that fish's sacrifice earlier as well.
"Elle. It was fun talking with you but nobody cares if you'll vanish," sabi niya saka sumikip ang dibdib ko.
Hirap din akong huminga. I held my chest and my knees slowly on the floor.
How interesting. As expected from of a healer from Altaria household. She secretly transferred her mana to me at tingin ko, kanina 'yon, no'ng may inalis siya sa damit ko.
She still needs practice. Though, if I will die here, wala ba talagang may pake?
I didn't countered her mana inside my heart but I created an instant support so I won't ran out of breathe.
"Everybody talks about you. I am the Class Rep! I am the star of the show. If only you aren't an attention seeker, then, you could've lived properly," sigaw ni Reth.
What a rookie crasher?
"You're pretty lucky that I don't have the authority to kill but, unfortunately for you,the playground will do it for me. Goodbye, Elle. And don't show your face before me, again.
"And one thing, don't even dream of becoming a healer. You can't do it anyways."
All I knew was I fell on the floor and I became numb.
She could've been dead if it wasn't for the show. But she couldn't be a spy because a member of a known household won't take part of that organization. She was just a selfish, self-centered Class Rep.
