Kassandra was crossing her legs while looking somewhere not wanting to meet her father's eyes. She was called to her father's company and if he didn't threaten her about the Astaire, she wouldn't waste a minute with her own father.
"Kassandra!" Her father yelled her name because she didn’t listen to him.
"Just handle the Guguz instead of Astaire, sign this." Her father dictated.
"I said no, papa."
"Why? Who are you to defy me, Kassandra?!" Her father snapped.
She rolled her eyes and scoffed, "So then what kind of father are you to not give what your daughter wants?"
"You are an illegitimate Rivera, Kassandra. You don't have every right to hold a property of Riveras. Thank me for lending you Guguz than nothing!"
She stood up with her eyes looking down on her father. She's bored so it's better to end it.
There was a grin on her lips before speaking, "Do you like insects, papa?"
She walked closer to her father's table as she saw him move his swivel chair backward, making her laugh but then she turned back into a serious one while looking intently at his eyes.
"Papa, I have a boyfriend and he wants to marry me," she said, surprising her father.
"You said that no one would want to love me but here he is, being a love sick while I'm here. Do you want to know who he is?" She grinned and then whispered, "he makes a lot of money with just his papers."
With a smile on her lips, she saw how her father's eyes sparkled upon hearing the word money. She started retreating and turned her back, making her smile fade as she went outside her father's office.
She left the company and went to the mall to buy clothes. Because she doesn’t want to be with anybody else, she just took what she wants and did not ask for assistance to carry her things. After shopping, she went to a restaurant and ate alone.
She does not know but suddenly Mr. Des Fluers comes to her mind. She thought about how to convince him now that she had said something about it to her father when she hadn't even assured that Mr. Des Fluers would have a deal with her.
She could even say that her father must be dying for her to come back to introduce this ‘wealthy boyfriend’ of hers.

She let out a long sigh after drinking the green tea. She then looked outside the restaurant.
On the other hand, Mr. Des Fluers was just across from her but she did not notice him. He was talking to a writer until then when they were done talking, he saw her. He does not know but his eyes just locked up to her face.
She looks bored and problematic. She does not seem to be in a good mood. He wonders why that is. But then he erased what he was thinking a while ago. Why would he think about what she had been?
Now to think of it, last time they talked, she was begging him to help her. He does not want to believe her. She just looked like she shouldn't be trusted. Maybe she is just a crazy stalker who wants to cling to him.
He was in the middle of unconsciously watching Kassandra when his phone rings that has gotten his attention. He directly excused himself to his client and went outside when he saw it was his little brother.
"Bro," he heard from the other line.
"Do you need something? Is everything okay?" He asked, worried about his brother's life.
The other line was not able to speak for a while so he felt that it wasn't good news.
"Jaco?"
"Mama and Papa disapprove of esposa. They threatened me to lay their hands on her once I got married to her. What should I do, bro?"
He sighed. "Just get married, I will find a way to protect your fiancé."
"Thanks, bro."
"Send my regards to Baby Avium."
"Sure."
"Take care."
"You too, when are you coming to my house?"
"I am not sure if I can go but I promise to be there at your wedding so arrange everything, as carefully as possible, okay?"
"Sí, Gracias." [Yes, thank you.]
He hummed before dropping the call and sighed, thinking of a solution on how he could spy in his parents' home and how he could protect his younger brother.
It is because Astaire is more than just a hotel!
His brows furrowed when he suddenly thought about what that woman said to him.
Why does it feel like... he wants to know that?
He turned his gaze to Kassandra who’s still not with herself. He then went back inside the restaurant to continue the talk with his client.
"I believe that we don't have to further discuss the publication of your book, Mr. Gonzales, if you have concerns, just contact my company's email and you will have an immediate reply." He ended his appointment with Mr. Gonzales as he said goodbye and left.
He was left while his eyes were locked on Kassandra’s face. But then after some minutes, he paid for his meal and left.
Kassandra was walking towards her unit. Bored and tired, she opened the door. She was feeling down like she had lost the world behind her. She wanted to give up chasing Mr. Des Fluers but just thinking about how Astaire would fall out of her hands, she couldn’t do it.
She dropped herself on the bed after taking off some of her clothes. She only had panties on. She closed her eyes and felt sleepy but then before she could finally fall asleep, she heard the ringing of her door bell.
She groaned and got up from bed, took a big neon green shirt to wear before walking to the door. She was thinking that it might be 3-30 considering that she visits at night time. However, she just happened to witness an unexpected event. Mr. Des Fluers is leaning on the opposite wall before her door. The furrow on his brows was deep and he looked at her from head to toe.
"F*ck," she immediately swore when she realized what she was wearing and she slammed the door shut.
But then she immediately opened it back to see if he was going to leave.
"I'll just wear something to cover up, stay there," she commanded Mr. Des Fluers before closing the door back. She then ran to her walk-in closet and hurriedly grabbed a pajama and wore it for her bottom.
She then wore a bra and picked up the mess on the floor and put it on the laundry box before running back to the door and opening it.
"Get in," she invited and widened the space on the door.
Mr. Des Fluers then comes in with his arms crossed.
He observed the surroundings first and he can say that it is twice bigger than his unit. As expected of being the only room on the highest floor. He has even asked a staff member just to ask where the owner's room is located and it is even in the most magnificent one.
He walked straight to the living room and sat there. And Kassandra did the same but on the opposite.
"What brought you here late at night? Have you changed your mind?"
He looked at her in the eyes and did not speak for a while.
"Tell me why this hotel is more than just a hotel."
