Today was friday. I was busy returning the books that I don't need anymore for my afternoon class in my locker when someone suddenly called me.
"Miel!" Janice called then she walk towards me slowly. I look at her knees and saw a bandage there. Now I remember what happened yesterday.
"Janice." I called her too. I locked my locker and went towards her. "I'm sorry." I apologized then I looked down to her knee, feeling sad because she hurt herself for me.
"Hey. Don't say that. I'm the one who did this to myself." She said then se held my chin to make me look at her. "It's not your fault." She said softly.
"But If it weren't for me you wouldn't have to do that to yourself." I said, I really feel guilty.
"Don't mind this. This wound isn't big. And besides I became close to Angelo so I can say that this wound is my lucky charm." She said then she laugh.
"What? Do you like Angelo?" I asked in disbelief.
"Who wouldn't? He's so Jolly and kind! He's my ideal man for your information." She explained. "So, would you mind telling me what happened? I think I deserve a story time." She said then she wrapped her hands around my arms like she always do.
"We successfully talked like what we expected." I said while we are walking towards the cafeteria to eat.
"Then? Did he agree to clear your name?" She asked.
"No." I answered.
"What?" She said then she stopped walking. "Are you saying that all of the efforts that we made were just nothing?" She complained.
"No." I immediately said.
"Then what? Enlighten me please." She said, trying her very best to stay calm.
"He said that there's nothing to worry because Ahliya rejected him and she doesn't want him so he will stop pursuing her from now on." I explained.
"Really?" She asked in disbelief. "I Thought Ahliya likes him too." She said, confused of what she have heard.
"I thought too because that's what you told me. But he told me that so I can no longer believe that Ahliya likes him too." I said.
"Do you believe him?" She asked.
"Yes because I saw how sad he is yesterday. He even requested me to stay with him for a few more minutes because he felt so alone and he doesn't like that kind of feeling." I explained that surprised her.
"OMG. And you stayed?" She asked.
"Yes." I answered that surprised her again. "What? I just did that because I can't leave him like that." I said to defend myself.
"What? I am not saying anything. Why are you so defensive?" She said that made my eyes wide. "Tell me. Do you like him?" She straightforwardly asked.
"W-what are you talking about?" I asked stuttering then I looked away that made her laugh.
"C'mon, Miel. Spill it." She said, persuading me to tell her.
"Fine. I like him. Happy?" I said.
"OMG!" She reacted then she laugh.
"Stop it, Janice." I hissed.
"What? I'm not saying anything." She said while still laughing.
"I hate you!" I said. I held her hand tight then I walk faster.
"Hey! Slow down. My knee's still hurts." She complained but I did not mind her.
"Stop teasing me." I said.
"Fine. I will. Just slow down." She said so I slowed down.
"You're so mean." She complained then she massaged hee knee.
"Miel!" I froze in the place where I am standing after hearing that voice. Janice noticed it then she laughed at me again. Is she really my friend?
"Calm your heart, bestie." Janice whispered so I hit her right arm.
"Ouch!" She said while laughing. "Gotta go, Miel. I'll come to my baby Angelo now. Goodluckk!" She said then she left me here to go to Angelo
"Janice!" I called her but she did not look at me. Arghhh.
"Miel! Are you going to eat lunch?" Matthew asked. He's right behind my back now but I still can't turn around. My heart's pounding loudly and I feel like there's something in my stomach. Arghhh this is so frustrating.

"Face him, bestie. Don't be rude." Janice said then she turned me around to face Matthew.. "Gotta go, Miel. I'll come to my baby Angelo now. Goodluckk!" She whispered then she left me here to go to Angelo.
So I have no choice but too look at Matthew. I gasped when I saw him wearing a pair of jersey and was sweating real hard. Jesus! He's so hot.
"Miel? You're spacing out." I heard Matthew said that made me come back to my senses.
"Ah yeah. We're about to go to the cafeteria." I answered then I looked away.
"Great let's eat together." He said. "Angelo, Carl! Let's eat with them." He invited his two friends. I was surprised when I saw Janice and Angelo laughing together, their really close now huh.
The two agreed to eat with us so they begun to walk towards the cafeteria but I did not walk with them. Matthew's still sweating hard. Is he going to eat like that?
"Uh, Matthew." I called Matthew then I held his hand. He looked at me then he look down to our hands. And I don't know why but I felt so nervous seeing him looking at it. So I immediately let go of his hand.
"Why?" He asked.
"Ha?" I innocently asked.
"Why did you call me?" He asked too.
"Ah. C-Can you change first? You're sweating real hard." I said. I don't know if it's me or I really saw him smirk?
"Okay. Come with me." He said.
"Ha?" I innocently asked but he did not answered me. Instead, he held my hand and pulled me towards their locker room.
"Isn't that Matthew? Why is he with him? Is the rumors true that they're dating?" I heard a girl in front of us said. Matthew did not mind them and he just continue on pulling me.
"I thought he likes Ahliya? Why is he with that nerd?"
"I bet she flirted Matthew that's why he's not chasing Ahliya anymore?"
"But how?"
"I don't know maybe she used her body?"
Arghhh. They're misinterpreting us again and worse, they're making stories about me. But yeah like what Matthew said, I should not mind them because I know the truth and I don't have to explain myself. I'll just let them be problematic, thinking about it.
I know to myself that I still have my virginity and dignity. And that I am not that kind of girl like what they're talking about.
