Someone is touching my hair. It’s so good that I almost want to fall asleep more. "Good morning, Jess." I can’t open my eyes, I’m so sleepy. The most amazing thing ever happened yesterday, and the person I did it with is now stroking my hair.
 
"Jess, wake up. Let’s eat breakfast together before I have to go." And with that, I immediately opened my eyes.
 
"Oh, hey Jax."
"Good morning, beautiful." He kissed me on the forehead and offered his hands.
"Come on, I cooked us breakfast."
 
"You cooked? Really?" I said sarcastically.
He put his hands on his chin and acted like he was thinking. "Uh, more like I ordered but I arranged it in a good position and that’s a very hard job." I punched him jokingly, and when we reached the dining area, I saw our breakfast.
 
This is why I love him even if he’s an idiot with his job. He loves me and cares for me so much, more than anyone in this world. For him, little things matter, so he’s very careful with me, even in small things.
 
I hugged him from behind and smelled him. He smells so good even when he’s not using cologne. He knows I don’t like it when someone sprays cologne when I’m still asleep, so he doesn’t have any cologne on him right now, yet he smells amazing.
 
"Thank you so much, Detective." I said, then pulled myself out of the hug.
He even pulled the chair for me and it’s just the two of us. "Let’s eat, my favorite human."
 
“I'm glad you used a comma tone in that because I'm going to eat you.”
He laughed. "Oh so we’re gonna eat each other, huh. Thank God I’m a careful man."
 
Our breakfast went well. He didn’t talk about murders because I told him not to. We talked about our day yesterday. He knows that I had a celebrity in my house and he asks a lot of questions.
 
"Really? It’s really her?"
"Is she bad? Like the issues that are circulating? I doubt it, I think Mira is the bitch. "
"Did you get a selfie?"
"What about her number?"
"You must’ve asked her about the tea, ya know."
 
My boyfriend and I love gossiping, but I didn’t tell him about the engagement though. I respect her desire to keep it between the three of us: me, her, and Ocean.
 
Jax was about to touch the dishes when I told him not to touch them. "Hey, leave it. You must be tired from arranging it. " I teased him. "Go to work now, Detective."
 
"Oh, my sweet person." He kissed me. "Love ya, bye." He grabbed his keys and then left.
 
After washing the dishes, I went to take a bath. While in the bath tub, I grabbed my phone when the notification pinged. Deniserodri

I should talk to Jax about it first. Replace that with: Jax should decide for me. I don’t really know about this. If only I could ask Denise to cash the ticket so I could pay my bills and buy more outfits, I would, but that would make me look like shit.
 
I finished cleaning myself and put on my outfit. I grabbed my car keys and went to the parking lot. Before I entered the car, I looked up to Kathy’s apartment. No one has moved into the apartment ever since the murder, but the media and content creators have been visiting the unit. Poor Kathy.
 
My boyfriend and Detective Sanchez are holding the case, but there’s no progress on it. I say, the Killer’s good. They lack evidence, except for DNA, but there’s no match.
 
When I arrived at the company’s building, the secretary called me.
 
"Hey, Jess." She greeted me. I smiled in response. "Boss wants to see you." I nodded and thanked her. I went to go to the bathroom to check myself out to see if I looked presentable to face my boss.
 
"Sir, you called for me?" I asked. He signaled for me to come inside, so I did.
 
"I need you to work with Perry." He dropped a file on the table. "What Relm wrote? waste of printer ink. It’s trash. I want you to put it in the trash and write me a new one." He shoooo-ed me and told me to go to Perry.
 
"Perry, may I come in?" I asked him. He’s sensitive to the door opening and said it ruined the photos.
“Just a second!" He opened the door and let me in. Wow, it’s really dark here. “The boss told me that you’d be here. Also, he told me about Relm’s trash article."
 
"Oh yeah." I said.
As I look around and scan every photo of the celebrities, Perry follows around, "Oh, man. Knowing Relm, she’s gonna hate you. She’s the worst." He said. I love Perry. He’s quiet and so focused on his job, but he knows who to bash.
“Eh, don’t really care. Just doing my job. If she’s gonna hate, then she’s unprofessional. Maybe she needs to focus on writing better."
 
"Yes! Speak our Queen! " He laughed and I did too. I love him, only if he worked in the booth next to me.
 
"So what’s the tea?" I asked him. He grabbed some photos and gave them to me.
“Yeah, someone’s cheating!" He said and then tapped the photo.

"Ocean and Mira? The hell is this?"
"Right? Poor Denise. I like her better than Mira. Mira has some serious issues and a bad attitude. We all know about it." He said. “You should start writing, it’s due tomorrow."
 
"Yeah, okay. Thanks Perry. " I took the photos with me in my booth.

"Hey, Jess heads up. The worst of all’s coming for you." Alex, the one next to me, said.
“I already know she’s coming."
 
"You steal my writing all the time. Don’t you have any food or business to write about?" Relm said to me. Gosh, her eyebrows are too thick and they literally have sharp edges.
“I did not steal your words, Relm. It’s so disgusting I can’t even read a word of it. " I said. Everyone was smiling, except Relm who walked away.
 
"That’s good, Jess." Alex said. I handled Relm good, but it didn’t make me smile. I’m so pissed with Ocean and Mira.
 
Oh, I hate them so much that I have to write about them. I’m not even allowed to roast them in the article. If I am allowed to roast them, I’ll publish a book.
 
Before lunch, I finished the article. While everyone went to the cafeteria to eat, I went to see my boss.
 
"You’re done already? That’s why I like you, Capri." He said and told me to have a seat.
 
The thing I hate about my boss is that he’s going to read your article in front of you and won’t let you leave until he’s finished. Like, can you just let me go and have your Secretary send the article to me if it needs revision?
 
"Ha! This is good, Capri. Well done, nice job!" He cheerfully clapped for me. "This will be huge, Capri. You always do a good job, so you just wait and good things will happen to you in this company.” What like promotion? "Starters, I’m going to give you your office. So you can write better without Relm bothering you. "
 
I thought it was a promotion, but yeah, private rooms are great. "Thank you so much, sir. I appreciate that." I said. “May I ask you a personal question, sir?"
 
"What is it, Capri?"
"If you hate Relm, why not fire here?"
"Oh, she’s bad but she’s a favor from a friend. That’s all I’m saying." He said. “Now you go and eat and collect your things from your booth, and I’ll ask the Secretary to prepare the office for you."
 
I smiled. My boss is kind, but he’s a basher, but at least not to me. “Thank you again, Sir." I went back to my booth and sat down on my chair. I let out a deep sigh and put all my things in my box.
 
I said good bye to Alex since I’m moving to my own office and told him that he’s welcome to go and write there anytime.
 
After 2 hours, I’m settled into my office. It’s great here; more private space, and it's got its own bathroom.
 
A notification popped up on my work computer, so I clicked it.

I sighed before clicking the article. It’s just seconds since it was posted, but the views are already hundreds.
 
I wrote an article about Ocean and Mira, and I have to go on a ball with Denise. This is great. Should I let Denise know? Probably not. I don’t want her to hate me.
 
The title I gave the article is... not it. If I am Denise, I know I’m going to hate me for writing a stupid article.
 
I’m sorry Denise, but this is how I pay my bills.
