Chapter 1: Liviana's sense
I found myself running through the endless jungle, chased by men wearing black cloaks, then suddenly I reached the part of the forest that was illuminated by the moonlight. They stopped chasing me and for some inexplicable reason every part of my body lit up, they backed away slightly and intense fear appeared on their faces. I felt intense energy trying to enter my body, soon it was replaced by pain, I cried out because of the pain I felt.
I immediately open my eyes when I felt someone waking me up.
When I woke up, it was Maeve's worried face. I felt the corner of my eye get wet so I immediately wiped it and got up. I looked in the mirror and examined my face, my eyes were gray, my nose was only moderately pointed and my lips were red, my face was in perfect shape, my hair was also black. I always wondered if why is my eye color different, I have never seen a creature with this eye color so it can really be considered unique.
"Yun parin ba yung napanaginipan mo?"
maeve asked
I nodded softly
"Baka iba nayan" she said
"I don't know" maikling sagot ko
Halos araw araw ay iisa lang ang napapanaginipan ko, yun ay yung hinahabol ako sa gubat tapos biglang akong magliliwanag at makakaramdam ng sakit, tapos pagkagising ko ay mararamdaman ko nalang na umiiyak na pala ako. Sabi ni maeve ay umiiyak daw ako habang natutulog nahihirapan din siyang gisingin ako kaya kaylangan niya akong yugyugin ng malakas.
"Oo nga pala,may pupuntahan tayo, magbibihis lang ako, magayos ka narin" Sabi niya bago umalis
"Yeah" I whispered
I looked in the mirror and for a moment stared at my face, I took a deep breath and stood up.
Maeve was my best friend, siya lang ang nagiisang kaibigan ko, palagi kaming magkasama at magkasundo rin kami sa lahat ng bagay. Mula nung mamatay ang parents ko ay magkasama na kami sa isang bahay. Masaya kaming magkasamang namumuhay, magkahati kami sa lahat ng bagay at nagtutulungan din kami sa mga gawain. I treat her like my own sister at ganun din siya, madalas siya rin ang nagpapasaya sakin pag malungkot at may problema ako.
Her parents are gone, they died due to illness, so she lived there with her relatives, but they also didn't treat her well, so since my parents died, I've put her here at home.
"Viana are you done?" I suddenly stopped thinking when i heard maeve's voice.
"Wait...I'm almost done" sagot ko
I wore black high waisted jeans, partnered with black boots, I wore a white jacket for the top.I grabbed my hat and walked outside.
I saw Maeve in the living room, she was also wearing Black high waisted jeans and black boots. She's wearing a white t -shirt on top.
I walked towards her. I helped her carry our necessities, I didn't know where we were going because she didn't want to tell me.
"Wait I forgot my dagger" I said and ran to my room. I took my dagger and went back to the living room. We always carry a dagger every time we leave.
"Let's go" she said and started walking
I pressed the dagger to my side and put on my hat. Then I immediately followed her.
When I stepped outside, I immediately felt someone watching us, I grabbed Maeve to stop her, she looked at me with astonishment on her face, I felt the person watching us is already gone. I shifted my gaze to Maeve whose face was still wondering, I smiled and shook my head to say that it was nothing.
We continued walking, I still felt that someone was following us but I remained calm, I was also preparing myself in case it rushed with us. Another thing that was strange to me was my strong sense. I could easily tell if someone was watching us and if there was danger coming.
Nasa gitna na kami ng gubat pero hindi parin nawawala ang taong sumusunod saamin, hindi narin ako mapakali dahil dito kaya napagpasyahan kung sabihin na ito kay maeve.
Huminto ako sa paglalakad dahilan para mapatingin siya saakin.
"What?" Tanong niya
"May sumunod saatin." mahinang Sabi ko
"What!?" Sagot niya tsaka lumapit sakin
"Kelan pa?" Tanong niya
"Kanina pa, pagkaalis natin ng bahay."mahinang sagot ko
"Why you didn't tell me!?" Mahina pero mababakasan ng inis niyang tanong
"Akala ko kasi wala lang" sagot ko
She took a deep breath to calm herself and looked at me.
I slowly took my dagger and held it tightly.
We just stayed in that position until I heard him running towards us, I immediately looked in the direction where he was, He was just standing in front of us and watching ..... me. Hell! he didn't even make a move.He looked at me from head to toe and then looked back at my face. I gave him a sharp look reason to make him smile.
"Beautiful" biglang sabi niya dahilan para uminit ang pisngi ko.
"What do you want?" i asked him
He slowly walk towards us causing me to tighten my grip on the dagger.
When he stepped closer to us, I pointed the dagger I was holding at him as a reason to stop him from approaching us.
"You're not a human..." I whispered
At first I knew he was not human because I could smell his blood.
"What do you want?" I asked
"We need you" sagot niya
Maeve grabbed my arm, I looked at her, fear and concern could be seen on her face.I smiled at her to show that everything was fine.
"We?" I asked him
"Hindi mo pa maiintidihan sa ngayon" he said then he suddenly disappeared, I couldn't even feel him.

Nakaupo ako ngayon habang pinagmamasdan ang gray invitation card na iniwan dito sa bahay. Kanina pagkauwi namin ay napansin ko kaagad ito dahil kumikinang ito.
Hindi na kami tumuloy sa pupuntahan namin dahil sumama ang pakiramdam ni maeve sa ibang araw nalang daw kami pumunta.
It has a name on the back so I know that for us, it is an invitation for a celebration, it is not written what celebration will be held but it is said to be a very important celebration and it is important that we be there.
"Are we going there?" Maeve asked
"I don't know" I answered
I'm still confused by what the Vampire said, Yeah his a vampire, why do they need me? And who are they.At the end I decided to just rest because we were tired too.
I went up to the bedroom and so did Maeve but I was shocked when I saw a gown in front of my bed, it was a gray colored empire gown.There are diamonds on the waist part of the gown, off shoulder with long sleeves loose band on the wrist, it also has white diamonds scattered on the lower part of the gown, there is also a long fabric behind it, it shines in the light so it looks very good.
"Oh god..." I whispered
"Viana did you se-" Maeve stopped speaking when she saw what I was looking at.
I went to maeve's room then I saw an A-line black colored gown, it has diamonds in waist and it also shines.
"Looks like we really need to go" Maeve said
"They really made sure we were going" I said

I'm in a mess because of what happened today, I don't even know what to do.
Maeve and I are eating right now, she doesn't speak, obviously she is also deep in thought
"Viana...how did you know that the guy in the forest was a Vampire?" She asked with a curious face.
"I could smell his blood" I answered honestly
"What?, You can do that? You can smell bloods?" she curiously asked
"Yeah" I whispered
"Alam mo satingin ko hindi ka talaga tao" Sabi niya
"What do you mean?" I asked
"Kasi una your eyes is so unique, tapos yung pakiramdam mo anlakas, tapos ngayon naamoy mo na yung dugo!" Paliwanag niya
"I don't know" sagot ko

After we ate, dhe washed the dishes, I also went out to freshen up. I always look at the moon whenever I have a problem, because I feel better when I look at the moon.
On friday the full moon, it was my birthday and that party.Maybe I'll just celebrate my birthday party there, so I don't have to spend money.
While thinking I suddenly felt someone staring at me so I immediately looked around then I saw a man standing in front of a tree.
He was wearing pure black and had a long cloak, with a cloth covering his face so I could not see his appearance very well. One thing I'm sure of is that he's not human he's an immortal, but the smell of his blood is stronger than the vampire in the forest, he's not an ordinary vampire.
With a blink in my eye he was in front of me, I looked into his eyes and I almost ran out of breath when I saw the color of his eyes, it was blood color.
I was shocked when he suddenly strangled me, I tried to remove his grip on my neck but it was too tight, I also had difficulty breathing, I tried to struggle but he lifted me, I could not reach the ground because he was lifting me, I was running out of strength so instead of struggling I just shouted for help.
"Aaahhhhhhh"
When I shouted, it suddenly blew very hard, the birds flew and the wolves howled. I couldn't understand what was happening and it looked like the man in front of me did the same. He let go of me causing me to fall to the ground, I gasped for breath on the ground. When I recovered I turned my gaze back to the man in the cloak but I was shocked that almost ten vampires were already blocking in front of me, as if they were protecting me from to the man in the cloak.
The posture of the vampires in front of me was frightening, it looked like they were ready to kill at any moment.I stood up slowly and looked back at the vampires, they were also wearing pure black but they didn't have a cloak. I can feel the anger of these vampires but I don't know why, they just stare at each other as if talking with their eyes.
I was surprised when the vampire in the cloak suddenly disappeared and the vampires looked at me, their posture was no longer scary and it look like the anger on their faces was gone.
They looked at me from head to toe as if they were checking if I was okay or if I was hurt, then they looked at me they bowed and left until I could no longer see them.
I can't move because of what happened a minute ago, I don't know what's going on but there's only one thing I'm sure the vampire will protect me, but why?
When I recovered I took a deep breath and went back inside the house. I first went to maeve's room to look at her, I found her sleeping because maybe she was tired so she fell asleep right away. I went to my room to rest but I couldn't sleep so I decided to take a bath, I was still shaking with fear, I was about to die. I soaked in the lukewarm water first, I was still wondering why they did that and why the man in the cloak wanted to kill me.
After I took a bath, I looked in the mirror to look at my face, it's possible that I'm not human, a lot of incredible things are happening to me, I don't know what to do. After I combed my hair I fell asleep, I fell asleep easily.
