Ganther Uries Neric Asunion's Point of View
Tumingala ako sa langit. Today is Saturday no class. I usually stay inside my dorm when it's the weekend. But today is different. I just found myself walking to the corridors until I reached our building's rooftop. Pinatay ko ang cellphone ko para hindi ako ma-contact ni Onyx. I'll deal with him soon, not now. I'm not in the mood to play with him.
"There's something wrong about you today..." I don't need to look for me to know who's that. I know that voice. I mentally grin, he's been avoiding me since the day I told him that I knew his secret.
"Why are you here, Kit? Bakit hindi mo ipagpatuloy ang pag-iwas mo?" Umiwas ito ng tingin saka naglakad papalapit sa pwesto ko. He sat down beside me.
"I don't know either, maybe I just use to your presence. Saka, I end up asking myself. Bakit ako iiwas? Wala ka namang ginagawa." I didn't reply to him. I just stared at the sky. Walang araw. It's gloomy. Parang uulan. My favorite weather. I love when the sky is gloomy and looks so sad.
"So, why are you here? I received a kick from Onyx and his minions for telling them that I don't know where are you. Which is true." I chuckled.
"I'm just not in the mood playing with him. I refer like this enjoying the silence not until you came." Kita ko ang pagsimangot ni Kit. He turns his gaze to me like he's looking for an answer.
"I'm curious what kind of game you are playing with the king of Leighton. Are you not scared?" Takot? I don't know what kind of feeling is that. I've encountered many people with terrifying emotions but I never got a chance to feel what being afraid is. How Ganther? If you are the reason for their fear?.
"Ikaw ang nagsabi na, curiosity kills the cat then here you are being nosy." He heaves a sigh and smiles at me.
"Ikaw na mismo ang nagsabi hindi ako isang pusa sa lugar na'to. I'm a tiger hiding in kitten fur. So it's doesn't have an effect on me and even on you. But I'm sure you are not a tiger." I don't why I let Kit sit beside me and talk like this. This so unlike me. Dapat tinatakot ko na ito para umalis.
"Yeah, I'm not a tiger." because I am a hunter.
"So what kind of game?" He asked that question again. I shrugged my shoulder. I stared at him. Looking at Kit he's really innocent and I know he is. Compare to me I'm far from being an innocent one. Every person I talked with I know their secret. Hindi ako papasok sa lungga ng ibang demonyo kung wala akong mga balang dala.
"I don't know. When I saw Onyx there was something pulling me to him. Then here I am, entering in his lair." Kit gives me an expression like I'm the most lunatic person he met.
"Do you like him?" He seriously asked. Napatawa ako dahil sa tanong n'ya. Damn! Halos lumuha ako sa katatawa. Suminangot 'to.
"I'm not joking for you to laugh like a mad man" I wiped my almost tears due from laughing.
"I just get thrilled at his aura Kit. And besides, I don't know what is like and love."
"Wala akong ideya na may tao palang hindi alam ang ibig sabihin ng dalawang 'yon?" I don't know if it just me but I can sense the sadness in his tone.
"You said I'm worthless? Do you think I am?" I don't why I'm talking with Kit about this topic but I answered him.
"Yes, you are worthless..."
"Do you know how I will be able to find my worth?" That is the question I didn't expect I'll hear that question from him.
"Ganther? How?" Hindi ko inaasahan na luluha sa harap ko si Kit. Frustration was written to his face. Umiwas ako ng tingin. My chest was tight as I saw his tears. Why? What is this? A pity? No, Ganther you just saw your old state on him. The weak one. The innocent one. I know Kit shouldn't be part of this place.
"Get out of this place Kit. In that case, you will not be going to be worthless. You are not weak Kit but you are not strong too." I stood up. I tap his shoulder.
"Take this a warning from me, doing this that you don't want will lead you to your own downfall. I'm not nice Kit. I'm not an innocent. I'm demon that playing here. You are my pawn so I don't want you to be ruined by others. I'm the only one who can ruin my pieces." His lips formed a smile.
"You care..." Umiling ako.
"No, I destroy..." He shook his head while chuckling. Iniwan ko s'yang mag-isa sa rooftop. Paababa na ako ng hagdan ng may humampas sa ulo 'ko. I even hear their laughs before I passed out.
My head is spinning as I wake up. I felt so groggy. Sinubukan kong gumalaw but I found out that I'm tied in the chair. Madilim ang paligid. I'm in the middle of an abandoned room. Walang kahit anong gamit kung hindi ang upuan kung saan ako nakaupo at nakatali.
My gaze went to the door that opened. And there I saw her smirk. Puno ng galit ang mga mata n'ya.
"What's with your pathetic move, Misha?." I asked. She glared at me. Pumasok s'ya kasunod ang mga tauhan n'ya. They're glaring at me like I'm the kind of creature that they wanted to kill.
Napabaling ang mukha ko pakaliwa ng sampalin ako ni Misha. Halos mamamanhid ang kanang pisngi ko sa ginawa n'ya. Sinundan n'ya pa ito ng isa pang sampal sa kaliwang pisngi ko. She's gritted her teeth. Pulang-pula ang mukha nito sa galit. That sight made me beam in amusement. Her face turned pale as she saw my expression.
"H-how can you smile like that? Aren't you scared that we might kill you here at this moment?!" She hissed.
"Bakit ako matatakot? Give me valid reason for me to be frighten to you? or even to your men?" Sinenyasan n'ya ang mga tauhan n'ya na lumapit.
"Beat him like a pup. Make him regret entering in this kingdom where I am the queen." Her men starts beating me. I just stare straight to her almond eyes as her men throw punches and kicks. Natumba amg upuang kung saan ako nakatali. Pero hindi sila tumigil. Napasuka ako ng dugo ng sipain ako sa sikmura ng isa sa kanila. Lasang-lasa ko ang malakalawang na dugo sa bibig ko.
"Stop. Iayos n'yo ng upo 'yan." Halos hindi ko na mamulat ang mga mata ko. She grab my jaw tightly.
"This is a warning Ganther—" I cut her off by laughing.
"W-warning?" I grinned. Pinilit 'kong imulat ang mga mata ko para titigan s'ya.
"Why are you giving me a warning? Are you scared? Misha... Hmmm... Or I should call you, little sis? I'm older than you by months right?" May hinugot s'yang baril sa likuran n'ya ang pointed in my temple. Her hands are trembling.
"Y-you are f*cking monster." She yelled to my face.
"Why, Misha? Why are you angry?." I make my voice sweet for her.
"You are f*cking manipulator!" Napailing ako sa sinabi n'ya. Idiniin 'ko pa ang ulo ko sa baril.
"Go, kill me... Let's see. After I died. My dad. Or I should say our dad, will going to follow me in hell right away." Wala sa sarili nitong binaba ang baril.
"I'll make your life here miserable Ganther... I swear to God. You will regret going here—"
"Likewise, Misha. Go. Make me suffer. Pero don't cross the line too much. Our dad and I have a deal. I said I'll be a very good brother to you. Alam kong ayaw mo naman sigurong madamay sa laro ko. You know, what I'm capable of." Her lips pursed. She wants to say something but she can't.
"Masaya ba? Are you happy seeing my mom, our family suffered because of your selfishness?"
"Hmmm..." I acted like I'm thinking. "Ikaw? Masaya ba? Seeing your own dad going home to another house instead of on your family house?" Her filled formed balled.
"Ikaw masaya ba? Seeing your mom living in lies?! Masaya kabang niloloko ang sarili mong ina?" She gave me a look telling me that I'm the most horrible person she ever met. My chest clenched as I heard that but I'm not going to give her satisfaction.
"Ikaw? What's the feeling? Kayo ang mahal ni dad. Kayo ang pinapahalagahan pero nakakalungkot kasi hindi kayo ang inuuwian. Dad is just my puppet Misha. I don't care about you and your family as long as my mother is happy. This is my warning for you Misha." I gave her a cold stare that could send her a shiver in her spine.
"Don't f*cking provoke me. I'm not here for your childish act. Stop before I give you a piece that make you regret acting like this. Huwag kang umakto na napakalinis mo. Your family is a mess Misha. A f*cking mess. Kaya ka nga nandito di 'ba? Palalampasin ko 'to. But the next time that you'll act like sh*t again. The deal between me and dad were off." Tumayo ako ng parang walang nangyari. Napaatras ito ng tumayo ako. Kahit hirap akong maglakad ay pinilit ko. My body is aching but inside me I want to burst in laughter.
"What the f*ck Ganther what happened to you?" It's Kit. Inalalayan n'ya ako. Namumula ang mata n'ya patunay na kakagaling n'ya lang sa pag-iyak. He helped me until we reached in my dorm.
"Ako ng bahala dito." I said.
"Are you sure?" Worries. I can see worries in his eyes that made me avoid his eyes.
"Oo." Sa huli iniwan n'ya ako. When I was left alone. I burst out in a laugh. Remembering Misha's scared face made me laugh in satisfaction.
"No, one can make this demon down. Try harder little sis."
Onyx Ollivander Faiz Leighton's point of view
"We looked for him but we couldn't see him." Tyren said. Saan naman kaya nagsusuot ang Ganther na 'yon.
"Let him for now, Onyx. May bukas pa para pahirapan s'ya." Alex added. I just nod. It's boring.
"What is your plan to that little man?" Tyren asked. All of them turn their gaze to me. I smirked.
"Just wait and see. I will make that little bean cries." Nakita ko ang pag-iling ng mga ito. They already know how dirty I am when I'm playing someone's life. Napatingin ako sa pinto ng mga pumasok it's my butler. Yumuko ito sa 'min.
"Young Master Onyx, there's a package for you. It was delivered to the mansion outside. Your Dad asked me to give it to you." He gave me the box with a black ribbon at the top of it.
"Thank you, Mr. Lee." He nodded before leaving. I looked at the box.
"Galing na naman ba sa mga babae mo?" Bry suddenly asked. I shrugs.
"Let's see." I opened the box. As I opened it naibato 'ko ito sa malayo. Nanginig ang mga kamay ko. Rinig ko ang mga mura nila Tyren.
"What the f*ck! Sinong nagpadala n'yan? It's disgusting and inhumane." Alex yelled. My eyes didn't take off to the thing inside the box. It's babies. Twin babies. Dead babies to be exact. Puno ito ng dugo. My eyes fixed to the message that was imprinted on the babies' clothes.
"How's your stay inside the hell as kings. Enjoy acting as kings. Because we will make sure your downfall. The two of you will beg for your lives. And regret born as heirs of Leighton clan."
"Who do you think behind of this warning?" It's Orion. Blangko ang mukha nitong nakatingin sa kahon. Hindi ko napansin na nandito na pala s'ya.
"I don't know... Maybe one of the clans who wanted to make our clan down." Napayukom ang mga kamao ko.
"If they think that this kind of sh*t will make me flinched in fear they're wrong. They are wrong messing with a Leightons." I coldly said. I saw Orion's side of lips lift up and I know the gesture.
"Yeah, brother... They are wrong messing with us."
