I was excited for today, I'm a transferee but I want to become friendly this school year. I don't want to be alone and I won't become perfect my last year in high school.
I'm wearing my uniform and I also get my things. Before I went downstairs, I visited my dog, I named her Cookie. After that, I went to our dining area.
"Good morning Philippines and Hello World." I cheerfully greeted my family.
"Good morning Anak" Daddy greeted me back.
Same as Mommy, Kuya, and Ate. They are in their uniforms and office attire ready for today.
"I'll drop you at the school," Kuya said. I nodded at him, I'm in the mood today.
"Mommyla and Lolodad will go home here in the Philippines." Daddy announced. I clapped my hands on what I heard.
"They will stay here for a month?" I asked.
"One or two months, pupunta rin dito ang mga pinsan niyo." He answered. I smiled.
After we eat breakfast, I bid goodbyes to my parents.
"Take care Anak," Daddy and Mommy said. I hugged them both.
My vacation here is the way why I become close to my family. I bonded with them. I am happy that I feel the love and care they give to me.
Ours arrived at school was fast. I'm smiling all the time. I can't contain my happiness for today.
"Call us if there's something happen." Kuya remind me.
"Yes, Papa." I copied the little boy I watched on YouTube. It just popped up on my news feed. I'm not a kid anymore, so why? I pouted, I hate youtube.
I looked around when I've entered the gate of this school. There are students everywhere. They are talking, teasing each other, there are groups of girls doing their makeups, there are taking selfies, and so on.
I was about to go somewhere when I heard a voice.
"Hope" Zaya shouted. I waved my hand to her. She's with two girls, I went to them and my motto for today is become friendly.
When in the U.S I have a lot of friends, I was involved in those famous and popular circles. So, I know I can do the same here.
"Hi" I happily greeted them when I neared them. The two girls give me a small smile while Zaya smiles widely.
"Meet my friends Hope. This is Zyryll." She pointed to the tall girl, her face that has elegant make-up and her hair were in deep waves, she has big loop earnings. She looks expensive.  "And Eloise" She pointed to the girl like a masungit. She's like a brat.
"Hi, I'm Hope. Nice meeting you" I happily smile at them.
They both introduced their name too. They are all nice.
"Zyryll" The expensive one.
"Eloise" The brat.
I talked to them like I know them for years. As time goes on I am relieved of them, I happy that I gain friends.
The bell rang, a sign that the classes were about to start. We're apart because they are HUMSS while I'm going to the building of STEM.
I walked inside the room where's my section was. My classmates are talking now, so I looked around to look for a chair. I went to besides a girl who was alone.
She's wearing ear pods, she didn't mind our classmates.
I waved my hand to her, she look at me with confusion. She removed her ear pods and she looked at me.
"Is this seat taken?" I pointed to the chair beside her.
"No, you can use it." She said.
"What's your name?" I ask again.
"Blythe" she simply said.
"I'm Hope" I introduced and  I smiled at her.
"K" I blinked twice and my lips parted. That's it? I calm myself and remind myself to be patient.  It was hard to talk.
"Dati ka na dito?" I asked again. I can't control myself to just shut up here. I need to talk and gain friends here in our section.
"Yeah" I lost a topic to open.
It's good that our teacher went to us. As usual, introduction for the first day of school.
"Aisha Audrey B. Gonzalez, 17 of age, and call me Hope. Thank you" I introduced and Blythe was next.
She's the type of student na tipid magsalita at seryoso. Hindi mataray pero nakaka intimidate ang presensya niya. She's beautiful too. She was fair-skinned ako kasi pale ang skin ko. Sila Zaya kanina fair skin din.
Half-day has done and it was lunchtime
"Blythe lunch tayo" I said to Blythe. She nodded so I wrapped my hand around her arm. I wait for her to react but nothing came. I'm comfortable with her.
I looked for a vacant table in the cafeteria.
"Hope here" I glance to Zaya who shouted. She's with Eloise and Zyryll.
We went to their table.
"Guys this is Blythe." I introduced Blythe to them.
They laughed. "Kilala namin siya," Zyryll said.
I pouted, they are not transferees like me so they know each other. I seated beside Zaya and to the other side was Blythe. In front of us are the two.
"Order na tayo, konti na yung pila." Eloise said and we stood up. I get my card in my wallet. They are not using cash here. We have our card.
We ordered our lunch and we come back to our table. I looked around, many students are minding their own business.
While we are eating, I open up my life to them and they do the same.
"Kuya mo pala si Aeneas, ang gwapo niya." Eloise said while daydreaming.
"Tsk, babaero yun." I told her. Patawarin mo ang bunso Kuya.
"Malay mo magbago." She defense. I shake my head, I did not agree to that.  If someday he changed because of a girl. I will party. He likes playing around. Feeling naman niya ang gwapo gwapo niya.
We talked a lot. After our lunch, we went back to our rooms. I'm with Blythe.
Months passed, we are always like that. We see each other when lunch break.
Zyryll was the daughter of a famous designer of gowns and they owned boutiques and other businesses. They owned a station too and she's a model. That's why she looks expensive and elegant.
While Blythe was the daughter of Architect and they owned the top and biggest Architecture Company the DLC Core Design Group.
Eloise, her family owns Castro Publishing Worldwide. The main Company was in other countries.
The family of Zaya owned Bars, hotels, Wineries, and Resorts.
They are popular and famous because of their family. That's why sometimes the other students did not go to us near. They did not bully us too.
But it also affects us sometimes when it's time in a grouping. Like now in our room, Blythe and I are always together and no one comes to join our group. Whether for the group activity or projects.
"Magkagrupo tayo." The teacher announced and I whispered to Blythe that we are group mates.
"Magsulat ka ng pangalan kung sino pa kagrupo natin by eight daw." She whispered too. She listened to our teacher who explained our group project. After that announcement, our classmates went to their groups.
"Dito sinong may gusto?" I shouted, there are want to raise their hands but they are shy.
"Ayaw niyo? Hindi naman kami nangangain, wag na kayong mahiya." I pouted to them. Sometimes it's if your background is a rich family.
My other classmates went to us.
"Pangalan?" I asked and write their names on one-fourth sheet of paper.
"Sinong may gusto sa bahay?" I suggested
We need a place to film our video. We do advocacy about our strand. We are glad that we have Blythe as our leader.
We will interview professionals related to our strands like doctors, engineers, architects, and others related to technology and science. This is our final project.
We also interviewed the college students who take courses like engineering, architecture, medicines, etc.
"Daddy signed it,"  I said when I gave him my waiver for that project. He's slow to sign.
"Binabasa ko muna Hope before I signed it." He said. I pouted, he's serious. Is he like this when it comes to the company? I guess, Yes.
"Daddy mag iisleep over din ako kila Blythe." I said to him.
"Blythe?" He asked.
"Best friend ko Daddy, kilala mo yung De La Cerna. Siya yung panganay nilang anak." I'm sure he knows the De La Cerna.
He nodded. " I will tell to your Mom." What the? He will not decide it instead Mommy decided.
I like their love life. Someday if I will found my true love, it's like Daddy and Mommy's love life. I love this couple. They prove that even they are old they are always loved and cared for by each other.
Mommy opens the door in their office. I silently clapped my hands, she's in timing. I smiled widely at her.
"Why?" She asked me, she knows if I was here, I need anything.
"Mommy payagan mo akong mag sleep over kila Blythe." I said directly. Her forehead creased.
"De La Cerna." Daddy said like it's an answer for the confusion of Mommy.
"Kaibigan mo?" She asked. I nodded.
"Okay payagan mo na." She said to Daddy. I grinned.
"Fine." Daddy agreed and she signed my waiver.
First, the first video we will film is an introduction to STEM. We will film at our house.
Saturday came and they will go to our house to film. I prepared and woke up early. I also inform our maids to prepare lunch and snacks.
I waiting for them at our door and they are all came.
"Bestie" I jumped to Blythe when she arrive.
"Parang hindi tayo nagkikita ah." She whined.
We do our setup, we are all participating. They also swim in our swimming pool.
That's how we do our project every time. I was with Aldrich and Blythe. Aldrich is our editor, he's smart I'm editing video, he also dreams of having a studio.
He's friendly but when I asked him about his Family. I pity him. Behind the smiling face, he's in pain.
He opens to me about him. Like we are getting to know each other as a friend.
"Share all pain, I'm here." I smiled at him. When I noticed him sad.
We are always together in our room. Aside from Blythe, he's the one I closed in our section.
He always buys milk tea for me. His comfort food and he's sharing with me.
"That's how my parents died." He told me. He share the story of how his parents died, it hurt that the day of his graduation when he was in grade six, they died. Car accident... That's fast how he lost his parents.
"You okay now?" I worriedly asked him.
"Yeah, I slowly accepted." He said.
He has a sister. Younger than us. If he turns to twenty one their business will transfer to him.
"Share all your pain to me. I know you've been through a lot of pain. I'm your best friend now, so no secrets. " I said to him, we even do pinky promise.
