It only served him right. How dare he! I thought he was different and I will finally have fun but it only turns out the opposite. I guess fun is too far away from me, no matter what I try to do to reach it. Hangover with severe headache was the only thing I could feel the moment I opened my eyes. I was about to stand from my bed when I felt the pain in my ankles. "Ouch, aw. Eish!" I groaned in pain. I irritatedly took my stilettos out of my feet that I didn't know I'm still wearing and saw wounds in every part of it. Gosh! I shouldn't have worn this stiletto! It's giving me bad luck whenever I wear it. I hoped, though. That it would be different this time. But I guess, hoping was too impossible to happen to me, huh. Then I remember myself, running while laughing like a mad girl. I quickly shove it off and massage my head, gently. I tried to stand up and went to the dining area. I opened the refrigerator beside the dining table and took a piece of an ice cube. I covered it with a thin cloth and put it on my feet, alternately. Not long enough, I felt better and decided to just order a hangover soup so my feet can rest. ——— THIRD POV "Hey, bro. I thought you were busy?" A guy approached his colleague and sat beside him. His colleague glanced at him and the guy chuckled. He already knew what it means. Soon after, the guy was called by some of his friends and excused himself to his colleague. The other guy was left alone, sipping his whiskey while roaming his eyes around. This is where I saw her. Dancing wildly... sexily. And to be honest, she's really hot and foxy. Although, she looked younger than me. 18? 19? 20?, he thought. He licked his lower lip and stood up, hoping that he'd see her on the crowded dance floor. He danced in the beat and came closer to a woman. He sexily squeezed his body into her and surprisingly, she also danced in rhythm with him. She even squeezed her butt into his. It made him groan but he was startled when someone pulled him out and punched him that he couldn't get to avoid even with that lean body. "Fuck off, fucker! You knew that she already had a boyfriend and you're seducing and flirting with her?! Fuck you, man!" the guy spat at him that turned out his ex-colleague not long ago. He smirked and scoffed as he wiped the blood he tasted on his lips. Your girlfriend was here dancing and you're just there watching her? How supportive boyfriend. And now you punched me with that bullshit mindset? Okay, fine. I'll let this pass. I'm not in the mood to fight, anyway. He thought and looked at the woman. He was stunned as the woman turned as her. It shut his mind down and couldn't move nor say anything. But when the woman looked away, she immediately turned into a different person. He chuckled and just walked away, ignoring people who were calling him. I'm crazy. I admit that I'm really interested in her even when she slapped me, last night. But I didn't know it'd be this intense to the point that I would hallucinate... How crazy—insane. He drove his car to every corner he saw until he got tired and just went home. He sighed and slept in disappointment. The endless ringtone of his alarm in his cellphone awakened him. He took his phone and turned the alarm off. But when he was about to get ready for work, he suddenly received a message. Alpheus -At the office. It was just a short message but has a lot of meanings. His face turned serious and firm and rushed to the office. ——— DILLY'S POV I stood up and even jumped in excitement like a kid who was given a handful of toys that could make her happy. An idiot, actually. I wore a one-inch stiletto—the comfortable one, unlike the last time that I wore. As I was waiting for the elevator, I scrolled down on my phone and searched for a good restaurant, and reserved one table. When the elevator opened, I saw no one and went inside. I clicked the ground floor and came out after it opened again. I walked towards the parking lot and went to my motor. Wearing a pale pink crop top with a blazer on it and straight-legged jeans, I carefully sat on my motor—that I just bought last week—as I hang my bag and manoeuvered it into the restaurant I reserved. It was, I think, the most popular one in the city from what I saw in good reviews earlier. "Hello, Ma'am. Good morning. Do you have any reservations?" the receptionist greeted at the door. I glanced at her and reflected her warm and friendly approach. "Yes. Aphra—Aphrodite Elly Solana." I almost say my former name when my mind suddenly went blank for an unknown reason. But for some reason as well, the new surname I'm using sent chills down to my spine. She escorted me to my table and I immediately praised the eco-friendly and warm atmosphere. I don't know if it's because it is a centralized place or just because it's my first time going out here, this early in the morning but it is indeed, a beautiful and comfortable place to be. It was calming and as if hypnotizing me to come back here again. I'll definitely come back here. I looked at the people and saw how peaceful their faces are while talking to their loved ones. I felt a pang in my chest. I'm celebrating here for my fast recovery yet I can't feel the joy they're feeling. I looked away with a sorrowful smile and silently thanked them for how fast their service is. "Thank you." I ate my soft meal and took a sip on my frappe. Even the foods are delicious. But... I can't help but compare it to the meals that Miss Sena used to prepare for me. I wonder how she's doing? Is she okay? I sighed and looked at the small garden outside. I saw a flower with its small but thick thorns. I'm like a flower who was hurt by my own thorns. I'm creating my own problems. It's always me. And it's shameful that I'm getting other people involved with it and even getting transferred all of my frustrations and disappointments to them. I stood up after a few minutes of just feeling so lonely and had already finished eating. I also gave my honest review to the restaurant and assured the crews that I will come back again. I don't know where to go so when I saw a mall near the restaurant, I immediately drove toward there and decided to shop—to kill some time and won't get bored. And again, I was amazed by how nice and warm the people were as they promote their company's newest product. I then realized... I chose the right place. I bought bags, watches, clothes and even jewelry. I roamed more around the mall until I was already satisfied with all that I bought. I hung six paper bags with my handbag and headed back to the tower of my condo. I'll just order my lunch. And that's what I did. After eating, I looked at the things I bought and arranged them one by one as I carefully take out the tag prices on them. I breathe out the boredom when I sat at the corner of my bed, not knowing what to do now. Should I watch a movie? I took my laptop from the table and searched for a good movie. But almost half of an hour was already passed, I still can't find any. I stood up and wore rubber shoes. A walk should be enough.
