"Where's Khiant Lyle Galvez?"
Napalingon ako sa babaeng kakapasok pa lang ng room. She's wearing a different uniform from other students. She's tall, clear skin, perfect face and body.
I automatically raise my hand to get her attention. She look at me like observing my body with a blank reaction in her face. She nodded and write on her paper before leave a room.
A few minutes later, the teacher go inside and introduce her self.
"I'm Mavie Leoner and I will be your first teacher."
Marami pa ang sinabi niga pero hindi pa rin naalis ang pagtataka sa isipan ko.
This is my first time silent inside the room. I don't have enough strength for anything. I can't forget what happened.
Bakit may baril ang lalaking 'yun? Allow ba dito ang ganu'n? Anong klaseng paaralan 'to kung hindi man lang nila napansing may baril ang isa sa mga estudyante nila?
"The high students guide you in the laboratory." Sabi ni Sir Mavie na ikinalingon ko.
High students? Sino ang mga 'yon?
We are in the laboratory now. I'm just following them. They are all weird. No one making a noise even the other students.
Napakaweird!
Napalingon ako sa babaeng nagtanong ng pangalan ko. She was so serious looking around. I also see the man who got my phone.
"We are the high students." I slowly turned to her when she start talking. "No ne can touch, shout or talk to us with disrespect." Girl said, the girl who get my name.
What did she said? No one can touch them? Ano sila gold?
Yeah, I can't deny, she was perfect. Very attractive.
"Bakit teacher ba kayo?" Natatawang tanong ng isa kong kaklase, he was transferred too.
Biglang tumalim ang tingin ng babae doon sa kaklase kong lalaki. Her look make me scared. How did she do that?
"Ahh!" Sigaw ng kaklase ko ng biglang may kung anong tumama sa braso niya.
My eyes widened when I see the blood flowing down to his arms. I panicked, I walk towards him and help him to get relieved because no one help him.
"Hey help him!" I shouted to those students that near from us but no one help us. "What happened?" I ask him.
Wala ako napansing tumama sa kaniya. Para bang isang bagay 'yun na kay bilis at hindi mo agad makikita.
"Go away from him or else you are next." Sabi 'nung babae sa'kin.
I stood up and look at her with anger.
"What kind of University is this?" I said and turn my look at the man who got my phone. "Is this University allowed students to have gun?" Inis na sigaw ko. "Then look at him. No one help him." I shouted again while pointing a man. "And what the fucking rules you've create in this Univ— ahh!" Naputol ang sasabihin ko ng may biglang tumama sa braso ko.
I was injured! My left hand was full of blood. Nakakaramdam din ako ng manhid. It's like a needle that has poison.
"Procede to the laboratory." Sabi 'nung lalaking nauna na papasok.
Napalingon sa akin 'yung babae pero agad ding umiwas ng tingin. Napalingon ako sa kaklase kong babae nang may iabot siya da'king papel pero hindi nagsalita at dire-diretso lang pumasok. I was confused. I look to the paper was folded and read the note that written on it.
'Read it in a hide. Put this in the middle of your book and act like reading a book.'
Napalingon pa 'ko sa babaeng nagbigay sa'kin 'nun pero nasa loob na siya.
Nang makapasok ako ng laboratory ay inipit ko kaagad 'yun sa libro. Naupo ako sa pinakalikod. My left arm still blooding. Namamanhid din 'yun pero wala akong magawa.
Hindi natuloy ang pagbuklat ng libro ko ng lumapit ang babaeng high student sa'kin.
There are 5 high students. 3 boys and 2 girls. I was familiar to the one boy who got my phone and one girl who get my name.
Malayo ang pwesto ng bawat isa. Hindi ka talaga makakakopya.
My eyes widened when the girl high student who get my name give me a folded paper too. She didn't look at me. Basta niya nilagay ang papel sa table ko at naglakad palayo.
I was confused. So uso dito ang pass the paper? Letter in a paper?
I read the letters on the paper.
'Open it. Put the thing inside in your injured arms. Don't be innocent, it makes you die.'
Napalingon ako sa nagbigay 'nun sa'kin. I caught her looking at me but when our eyes met, she looked away.
I open the folded paper then I saw a band aid. Not just band aid but it's look a like of it. It was black and like cotton, it's very soft.
My eyes widened when I see another letter from her.
'Itago mo ang bagay na 'yan sa manggas ng damit mo.'
So I did. Wala namang makakakita sa'kin dahil nasa pinakalikod ako.
"I am Lunamalthea Proxima Amaris."
My head slowly turn to the front when the girl introduce her name.
Lunamalthea.
"And I am the highest student in this University. No one can touch, shout or talk to me with disrespect." Sabi niya habang nililingon kaming lahat. "I am the most respectful student, highest among the high, Lunamalthea Proxima Amaris."
Para bang nangilabot ako sa sinabi niya. Her word was powerful. Hindi ko alam pero para bang natakot ako sa tingin niya. She is the girl that has power to control your fear. When she looks at you, you feel scared or feel not comfortable. What the hell.
Nang matapos ang klase sa laboratory ay bumalik na kami sa room. Wala pa ang next teacher me so this is the time para mabasa ko 'yung note.
I look around first before I open my books. Everyone was busy reading their books so I think it was safe even I'm still confused why I need to read this note in hide.
My eyes widened when I see the note.
'You are not safe here.'
Bumilis agad ang tibok ng puso ko nang mabasa ang message na 'yun. My lips parted and my heartbeat become fast.
Bakit 'yun pa lang ang nababasa ko pero grabe na ang kaba ko?
'Read every letters.
GOD University, that means Game of Study. This is hidden University Khiant. Why the hell did you get here?'
Napalunok ako ng maalala kung paano amo nakapasok dito. My step father. Sinadya niya ba 'to o hindi niya rin alam?
'Theres a lot of rules here. This is different from other normal University. When you enter here, parang pinasok mo na rin ang impyerno.'
Hindi matapos ang kaba ko dahil sa mga nababasa ko ngayon. I didn't expect that my life now is in the hell! I'm in the hell now!
'1st rule: Mind your own business
This is what you see in the surroundings. Walang pakealam ang bawat isa. You should do that for you fucking safety.
2nd rule: No cellphone allowed
Like what I said, this is hidden. Walang may gusto na malaman ito dahil delikado. No more explination but it was belong to their rules.
3rd rule: Stay respective
Pinakaimportanteng rule. If ever na kaya mong manahimik na lang kaysa makealam, it's much better to yourself.
4th rule: Respect the high student
High student was the top 5 students, the most smarter to all students here. If you want to be like them, you need to do everything. The best doing, Do best to get the top 5 and be the high student.
The last and the most important rule is follow the high student.
5th rule: Learn to follow if you want to live
This is the best among all rules! Why? Your attitude  will discipline but wrong moves will make you die. Stay as one of us Khiant. Don't be innocent. You're one of us now.
Hindi mo 'to kayang takasan. Kung makakalabas ka man dito, for sure wala ka ng hininga.
Take note of this.
Matuto kang makiisa kung gusto mong manatiling humihinga.'
Natulala ako matapos mabasa ang message niya. I don't know! I was panicked right now! I don't know what I can do. I'm not safe here anymore.
If I want to live, I need to follow the rules. The fucking rules.
Nang matapos ang klase ay tinawag ng high student ang mga baguhan. We are just 7 newbies. Tulad ko, lahat din sila ay naguguluhan sa University na pinasok nila. I can't look directly in their eyes especially to the highest student, to Lunamalthea. Her eyes is like a knife, her looks makes me die.
It was the first class pero parang hindi ko kayang manatili sa lugar na 'to. Habang naglalakad sila ay doon ko nakita ang numerong nakalagay sa uniform nila. Nasa upper-left 'yun nakalagay with their name.

Magkaano ano sila ng 3rd high student?
"Sa akin si Khiant."
Napalingon ako sa highest student nang sabihin niya 'yun.
"Isa lang sa'yo?" Tanong ng 4th High Student, si Yael.
Tumango naman si Lunamalthea tsaka lumingon sa'kin. I don't understand them. Bakit niya sinabing ako ang sa kaniya?
"Let's go."
Napalingon naman ako kay Lunamalthea ng sabihin niya 'yun. Tinaasan niya naman ako ng kilay nang hindi ako sumunod.
Parang nangilabot ako sa tingin niyang 'yun! Grabe! Nakakatakot ang presensiya niya.
"Stop staring at me." Her side lips rose up, smirking. "Follow me."
Napaiwas ako ng tingin bago sumunod sa kaniya. I don't know where are we going, I'm just following her.
Hindi ko alam ang nararamdaman ko kung magiging kampante ba 'ko dahil sa nakita ko siyang ngumiti o lalong kakabahan dahil sa ngiti niyang 'yun.
Huminto siya sa madilim na parte kaya napahinto din ako. Hindi ko alam kung bakit nanginginig ako! It was dark here pero nakikita ko ang apartment sa hindi kalayuan. Ito pala ang sinasabi ni Dad na mini subdivision ng University.
"Ako ang makakasama mo sa apartment mo sa loob ng isang buwan."
Nagulat ako sa sinabi niyang 'yun pero napatango na lang ako. Wala akong balak magsalita dahil pakiramdam ko ay manginginig lang ang boses ako at baka mapahamak ako kapag sumagot.
"Alam kong natatakot ka." Seryosong sabi niya na ikinalingon ko. "I don't know why are you here but don't worry, I'm willing to protect you until you can keep up to the other."
