This must be insane. Am I going crazy right now? Why did I all of a sudden woke up inside the body of 'that' person?
After hearing that name, I slightly felt pain from my head and pictures of memories bit by bit started flashing into my mind. Although most of it were blurry and has loopholes in it, it was still the original owner of this body's memories.
But why... am I experiencing this?
Don't tell me after I died, I got reincarnated?
Damn! I can't believe this is really happening to me. I got myself reincarnated into the novel of Sky Full of Stars. But to my misfortune, I ended up possessing the body of the main villainess in the novel. The icon of misery, Cassia Clorance. The character who has only one ending in the story. And that is a tragic ending aka Death.
Aren't this kind of plot only supposed to be fiction? I've read some novels that has the same plot of the female lead being reincarnated into the world inside a novel, but to think that I would experience that myself? This is just downright ridiculous.
I do am a little bit thankful to be given the second chance to live my life, but in all the characters in this novel, why did I ended up being Cassia Clorance?

Pero teka nga. I could just change the original plot of the story for me to be able to escape my death flag, right?
Tama! Since I've finished reading the whole novel up to its end, I know the following events that would happen. And I can take that knowledge as an advantage to make a plan for my survival in this life!
That's it! I'm going to change my fate as Cassia Clorance in this life. I would not let myself end up like the original character from the novel.
In this life, I, who was named Ariana Lei Valencia in my previous life but now Cassia Langston de Clorance, will change my fate, escape a tragic ending and live a happy and peaceful life.

I was snapped back to reality as I heard someone called. It was the maid named Mira.
I sudden remember who Mira's character was in the novel. There wasn't that long of a detailed information about her character but I know that Mira is the only loyal maid that Cassia has. She's the only person who stayed by her side.
Mira, who was born as the daughter of a Viscount who's also a known merchant in the Empire lived a happy and comfortable life. Unfortunately, both her parents died on a carriage accident leaving her all alone.
Mira was a smart girl. She is also hardworking and wasn't picky with sorts of things. She knows how to do household chores as well.
Then one afternoon, at the downtown in the Capital. Mira and Cassia happened to meet each other coincidentally.
Cassia who got lost from her maids holding a paper bag of cookies, and Mira who was just roaming around the area looking for food to eat.
As Cassia saw Mira who was staring at her, she look down on the paper bag she was holding then looked back at Mira. She then walk towards Mira and gave her the paper bag full of cookies - which she happen to not like since she doesn't like strawberries. So there was no any kind intentions on what Cassia had done.
Yet Mira took it differently. Mira happened to love strawberries and cookies was her favorite snack. She accepted the cookies Cassia gave her and expressed her gratitude towards the young Cassia. But for Cassia, it was nothing like throwing away things that she disliked.
A few months after that incident, Mira happened to apply for a maid job to the Clorance's Household where she didn't expect to meet Cassia from the second time around. And it was Cassia who was choosing for a personal maid.
The young Cassia didn't like the faces of the other maids and decided to choose Mira who seems more younger and looks fine to her eyes.
And at that point onwards, the fourteen year old Mira had pledge her loyalty to serve Cassia Clorance.
Sadly, Mira ended up dying in the novel after taking the blame on stoling the huge sum of money from the Count's Family.
But the truth is that it wasn't Mira but Cassia who stole the money. And Mira, in order to protect her Lady, Cassia, turned herself in and stated that she was the one who stole the money. And afterwards was sentenced to death by the Court.
I literally cried at that part in the novel. Such a loyal person like Mira would end up dying... No. I won't let that happen. Now that I became Cassia Clorance, I will change not only my fate but Mira's fate as well.
Mira might be the only trustworthy ally that I will have in this world. I must also protect her just like how she protected Cassia from the original novel.
And in order to start that change I need to do one thing.
"I'm sorry but... who are you?"
A question that made the whole Clorance's manor changed its whole atmosphere.
