Dear Readers, this is just a book 2/sequel/ a continuation of my previous story titled FALLING IN LOVE WITH A GANGSTER. I would like to suggest to you that please read the book 1 first before this one for you to understand the flow of the whole story.
If you're asking why the change of title when it's just a continuation or book 2 of a story the answer is, I just want a more mature title, the book 1 title's a little bit jologs, jejemon or what so ever so I thought of another title that will really suit the next phases and scenes of the story. Also, our main characters here are already a man and a woman, not a college gangster and a high schooler girl anymore. Thank you!
Kiel and Mikaella met years ago, she was only 8 years old back then and he's 12. Out of Mikaella's innocence, she promised to marry him someday but for some reason, Kiel left without even a single word.
They met again after 6 years. Kiel didn't recognised her at first while Mikaella seems to forget some events happened 6 years ago, even Kiel.
Destiny seems to be playing tricks with them because for the same reason in the past, Kiel left again after the love they invested with each other.
After 6 years of being apart, Kiel came back, is it also a good come back?

What to expect in this story?
1. About what will happen to Kiel and Mikaella. Sila ba ang end game?
2. Anong mangyayari kapag umalis na si Kiel ng Pilipinas para sa heart transplant ni Kyla na kapatid niya.
3. May mangyayari pa rin bang trahedya sa buhay nilang dalawa?
4. Maghihiwalay ba sila o magiging masaya na forever?
Ilan lang yan sa mga dapat niyong abangan.. Pero sa ngayon ay narito ang teaser.
Tiningala ko ang Vancouver General Hospital, ang kaninang kaba ay lalong nadagdagan. Halos gumewang ang paglalakad ko papasok.
But then I stopped. Mukhang tadhana na ang nagpasya na magkita at magkaharap kami ngayong gabi.
But he's with her. Should I talk to him now?
Pero kung hindi ngayon, kailan pa?
"E-ella..." at sila na ang lumapit. Lumipat ang tingin ko sa kamay na nakahawak sa braso niya, pagkatapos ay sa mga lalaking nakasuot ng suit at shades, nakatayo sa likuran nila.
"Kiel.." pilit kong pinatatag ang boses ko.
"What.. Are you d-doing here?" nanginginig ang boses na tanong niya. Hindi ko alam kung tama ba ang emosyon na nababasa ko sa kanya.
Pangungulila..
Lungkot..
Sakit..
Takot..
Pagkalito
Kaunting tuwa..
At.. Pagmamahal.
I still can see love in his eyes. Mahal niya pa rin ako? Pero anong ibig sabihin nito?
"10 minutes." lumipat ang tingin ko sa babae ng magsalita ito.
Ilang segundo ang lumipas at namalayan ko na lang na wala na pala sa likuran nila ang mga lalaking hinala ko ay body guards.
"I'm giving you 10 minutes to talk. Follow me." walang emosyon na sabi ng babae. Parang robot na sumunod naman kami ni Kiel sa kanya hanggang sa makarating kami sa madilim na parte ng parking lot ng ospital.
Pagkarating roon ay lumayo ang babae. Pero isang makahulugang tingin muna ang iniwan niya kay Kiel.
Nagulat na lang ako ng bigla akong yakapin ni Kiel. Saglit akong naestatwa, hindi malaman ang gagawin pero sa huli ay nangibabaw ang pagmamahal ko sa kanya lalo pa nga at ramdam ko ang pagmamahal at pananabik niya sa higpit ng yakap niya.
"I missed you so much."
I bit my lips hard.
He's crying.
And I hate it, I hate when he's crying. Para akong sinasaksak sakto sa puso ng paulit-ulit.
Hindi ko rin napigilan ang luha ko. We are both crying in mix emotions until I finally had the strength to pull out in his embrace.
I faced him and looked straight in his eyes. "Anong nangyari, Kiel? Bakit tayo nagkaganito?" hindi ko pa man alam ang dahilan ay ramdam ko ng may mali sa relasyon namin.
"I'm sorry, I love you. I don't want to hurt you. Mahal kita pero.."
"Pero ano?"
"I'm sorry.." he tried to cross the small distance between us but I stopped him with my hands.
"Wala akong naiintindihan." umiiling habang umiiyak na sabi ko sa kanya na halos pumiyok na ako sa sobrang hirap magsalita.
"I just.. Love you so much that I don't want to hurt you-"
"Love me so much? Don't want to hurt me? Ano to gaguhan? Tingin mo ba hindi ako nasasaktan ngayon? Okay naman tayo bago ka umalis, pinalampas ko yung hindi ka nagpaalam bago umalis pero bakit hindi ka manlang nagpaparamdam? Bakit hindi ka tumatawag? Bakit hindi mo ako kinakausap?! Tapos malalaman ko na lang na ikakasal ka na pala diyan sa babae na yan?!"
Halata ang gulat sa mukha niya.
Ngumiti ako ng mapakla. "Kala mo hindi ko alam?!"
"E-ella, please-"
"Please what? Ginagago mo na ako, Kiel!"
Niyakap niya ako at parang nawalan naman ako ng lakas dahil sa pag-iyak kaya kahit anong gawin kong pagtulak sa kanya ay hindi ako makaalis sa pagkakayakap niya.
At nang halikan niya ako ay mas lalong nagsituluan ang mga luha ko.
