After Ryza and Lara leave Bryan's house, Bryan goes back inside to check his visitors. His mom is talking to her friends and colleagues, his dad is talking to one of their clients with his uncle Jake. Everything seems fine and everyone is enjoying the display of foods and drinks.bSo then Bryan goes to his tito Nick's direction and wants to tell him that their plan is successful.
"Sir, happy birthday. Sorry I don't have a present gift sir because I know that you have anything you want. Kaya hindi na ako nag abala pa." He added.
"It's okay Tito. By the way, our plan is successful, Tito Nick!" Bryan exclaimed.
"Woah really? So she said yes?" Napaka Supportive Tito Nick naman.
"Yes Tito Nick, she's allowing me to court her. Thanks for your help Tito Nick."
"Small things sir,.just tell me if you need my help. I'm always ready to help you basta huwag lang sa masama." At nginitian naman nito ang alaga niya.
"Thank you Tito Nick. How's my party? Do you like the food?" Pag iiba niya ng topiko. Ito talagang batang ito.
"Yes sir, super. Alam ko namang bongga palagi ang mga party mo eh lalong lalo na dahil eighteen years old kana. Magpakatatag ka at para mag mature kana." Tinapik niya agad ang balikat ni Bryan na may kasamang ngiti.
"Yeah mom is always like that. She always wants everything to be perfect and to look good. She's so strict when it comes to me, she always wants what's best for me."
"I see sir, simula noong ipinanganak ka palang sa mundong ito ay ganyan na ganyan na talaga ang ugali ng Mommy mo. Si Nanay mo ang bumibili ng lahat ng mga gamit mo simula nung bata ka pa lang. Gustong gusto talaga ng Mommy mo na ibigay sayo ang pinakamahal, pinakamaganda sa lahat. Wala siyang pakialam sa pera kung mahal man o hindi ang mga gamit mo. Pero lagi siyang umuorder abroad para sa mga gamit mo at laruan mo. Ayaw niya ng mga cheap na gamit at hanggang sa lumaki ka patuloy na pa ring ginagawa." Both of them laughed and sighed.
"Yeah that's accurate tito so let's just say I'm so blessed and thankful to have them, to have this kind of family. Although Mom is strict, I do always understand her, she's doing that for my own good. I'll come back to you later Tito Nick. I'll just go to Mom, bye." Para siyang bata talaga the way he acts and the way he speaks.
"Sure sir, regards na lang sa Mommy mo." At umalis na si Bryan at pumunta ng kabilang direksyon kung saan nandoon ang Mommy niya.
"Hi Mom, hello everyone." Bati niya sa mga kasamahan ng ina niya.
"Hi honey, so guys this is the birthday boy. My one and only favorite son, Bryan Mendoza Patrico." Ayan na naman ang ina niya. She thinks so highly of herself talaga.
"No need for that Mom, they already know me, right?"
One of Shella's friends speaks.
"It's okay Bryan, happy birthday. You're now an eighteen boy, you're growing so fast Bryan, please don't." Then they laughed sarcastically.
"Thank you Tita. Thank you for coming and thank you for the present gifts that y'all brought. Enjoy the food, see you around. Bye mom." Bryan needs to check all of his visitors and his parents' visitors, friends, clients, lahat sila.
"See you around honey"
After Bryan goes to his tito Nick and her Mom, he then goes to his visitors to chit chat with them and thank them for coming to his birthday.
RYZA'S POV
Am I dreaming? No I'm not, Bryan Mendoza likes me? I can believe why me Am I this pretty? Woahh ryza haba ng hair! Why can I feel any awkwardness earlier when Bryan is confessing, do I like him too? Woah Ryza (slapping her face again) you're beautiful huh? Do I like him too? Oh my gosh or I'm just expecting something but it's also a part of my crush. Ryza, what's happening to you? No, no I need to think about it first. This happens so fast, do I really need to accept his feelings? Oh gosh I'm being crazy. Ryza please stop. No, I can't, please it's me, it's about me woah Ryza breathe deeply and think carefully Ryza. But Bryan is being serious towards me, what to do? Goshhh am I ready for this?
"Ryza we're here, what are you waiting for?" Lara's voice startled me and yes we're here in front of my house and I need to get off. Pay the driver first.
"Aw sorry Lara, I'm a bit tired today. Thanks for driving us today sir, have a goodnight and God bless, bye. Here's the money." Sabay abot sa driver ng pera.
"Salamat Miss." At dali daling humarurot paalis.
"You're welcome." I then talk to Lara inside my house and share with her about Bryan's confession earlier.
Para kaming mga tanga na nagsisigawan lalo na at nakainom kami ng kaunti.
"Really girl? Bryan likes you? Since when?" A lot of questions I get from her, but it's okay. I need to be real and I need a girlfriend to give me advice and yeah Lara is a perfect friend for relationship topics. She had a lot of ex-boyfriends, we can't blame her 'cause she's pretty.
"Yes, he did. In their garden area earlier. He gave me this flower first and then this white moon necklace then after that he asked me questions again and said that he likes me." My heart beats so fast when I'm telling Lara about the situation earlier and yes sometimes I can't deal with my nervousness.
"Oh gosh, I'm so proud of you girl. I knew that he had feelings for you. I saw it when he's staring at you, the way he cares and the way he treats you even though I'm here about two days ago but I can sense that he likes you and yes my assumptions are true." The way Lara speaks excites me a lot. I can see her happy and supportive face for me and for Bryan. She's the best one too.
"You see it Lara? But why can't I see it huh?" Confusion and curiosity fills me and yes it's the fact that I can't see it. I don't know why.
"I don't know. By the way girl, I need to go home. My mom is calling me, see." Sabay patingin ng telepono sa kaibigan.
"Oh yeah, thanks for being with me the whole day xoxo. You need to take care, okay, see you on Monday in school girl, bye." Then she kissed her school girl friend to say goodbye.
"Thank you for inviting me Ryza, bye." Lara goes home and now I'm alone because Mom and Dad are working again and my three siblings are not here because it's the weekend. For sure they are with their friends hanging out or sleeping over to their best friend's house. Yes I'm alone again, always alone. I need to think about Bryan's feelings if I'm ready for it or not? I need to think, think, think!
I heard my phone was ringing so I picked it up and saw who's calling.
It's Bryan! Ryza's shout when she sees the name Bryan is calling.
"Hi Bryan, sorry I didn't call you. I just got home now." When I'm talking to him on my phone, there's an awkwardness that fills us both.
"Hi Mate, good to hear that you're home safe and sound. Who's with you there?" Bryan is now asking me questions. Yes as people know that Bryan is a man of few words, but when he's talking to me he's very talkative though he's not and always asking me different questions and yeah when we first talk on the phone I first thought that he's doing a survey.
"I'm alone again Bryan, can you come? No, I'm just kidding. My brother and sisters hang out with their friends for sure they will go home early in the morning. It's the weekend you know." I then laughed a little bit by realizing what I said to him earlier.
"You want me to come? Wait I'll just need mom and dad's permission. I know where your house is located and I'll bought some foods, let's watch a movie please." Oh gosh it's just a joke,why did he take it seriously? Oh no he's now coming. Okay I need to prepare, gosh my brother and sister's dresses and pants are scattered everywhere. Ang dudugyot namin!
"You really want to come here Bryan? It's your birthday and don't just leave there." I'm telling him that he can't leave there because of course he's the birthday boy and he needs to be there.
"I'm sure Mate .Don't yah worry I need mom and dad's permission first. I'll call you back later." He then hung up the call and yes I'm startled again, now I'm cleaning the house just for him. I don't want him to see our dirty house. It needs to be clean.
Thirty minutes later, someone's knocking on the door. I feel my body is shaking. It could be him, Bryan.
"Wait a second, I'm coming." Of Course I dressed up in formal attire. Just white shirt and above the knee shorts. It looks formal.
"Hi Mate, I'm here?" After I opened the door, Bryan didn't give me a chance to speak. All I can feel is he's hugging me so tight and all I can smell is his neutral perfume. Does he miss me already? Oh poor Bryan.
"Bryan, I just left an hour. Miss me already?" I'm now joking again so that awkwardness won't appear. I can smell his breath and I can feel his hot body temperature.
"I miss you Mate, here's a flower for you." He's now again giving me another bouquet of flowers. Red roses and it smells so good. Wow!
"Second time to have a flower again! Thank you Bryan." I can't believe I'm now smiling at Bryan Mendoza. Am I falling in love with him? Oh please, no.
"Small things Mate, can I enter?" Oh yeah Ryza, tto excited? You forgot to let Bryan in. Nakatunganga lang pala ako, hayst Ryza naman.
"Aw sorry, yes sure. Sorry I'm too excited, what are we gonna do now? A movie marathon?" Ryza!! You're a girl, don't ask first okay. Let him ask you he's the boy hshshs. Dapat lang ang mga lalaki ang nag fifirstmove.
"Yeah, as I'd said earlier, I brought you some popcorn and drinks. For you just water." Am I smiling? He's being sweet now. Para akong nalulunod sa isang baldeng pulu pukyutan.
"You always want me to be dehydrated? I want to drink some drinks sometimes, not just water" I'm now explaining to him even though it's not required, gosh Ryza.
"What movie do you want Mate? What genre is your type?" He's now asking me again questions woah okay, keep calm Ryza. Ako ba ang kinakabahan HAHAHA eh ako yung may ari ng bahay bakit ako ang kinakabahan. This doesn't feel good.
"I like zombie movies, are there any?" It's night time and better to watch horror cause I need to shout sometimes, but now I have Bryan with me.
"Yeah here, let's watch this, you're a brave girl huh. Let's see." He's now teasing me? Oh gosh I wanna kick him, kidding. Is he underestimating me? Let's see.
"Let me have the popcorn Bryan. WOAH!!! You scared Bryan? HAHAHAHA." I'm now being noisy again! Para akong batang naglalaro ng tagu taguan kasama si Bryan. First time in my life na nakaramdam ako ng ganitong saya. He's precious to me and I won't ever waste this guy.
"Mate, the movie hasn't started yet. You can't scare me Mate, I'm telling you." He's now being humble and I like it. He's showing off. Sometimes talaga hindi ko ma guhit ang isang Bryan na kasama ko palagi.
This boy is different. Thank God for giving him to me. I have a courage that only Bryan can give me. I have strength that I can only gain when Bryan is with me. I have these feelings that I do develop when I'm with him.
