Ellevythrane's Point of View
Even if they kill, no one will still go against them. Kinatatakutan sila. At galing din sa malalaking pamilya. How abusive.
I just heard a splash at saka umalis sa harapan ko siya. There were traces of blood everywhere. Hindi ko na rin makilala ang namatay dahil nagkapera-piraso siya ng pinong-pino.
"That will happen to those who are not cautious and lawbreakers."
Bumagsak sa sahig ang tuhod ko. I took lives with my own hands before but not as brutal as that. I atleast gave them a proper burial. Alam kong hindi no'n mababayaran ang nagawa ko but this-
"H-how-"
"Since baguhan ka pa, I'm giving you the chance to give me a reason to spare you."
Ikinuyom ko ang kamao ko saka ibinaba sa sahig ang paningin. All my life, I was nothing but a prisoner. I killed because they told me to do so. I got locked. In here, I still had to follow rules. Rules that were dangerous.
"Just kill me, instead," turan ko. "Won't it be better if I just-"
"How hopeless." I heard him sigh. "I can't kill someone who wants to die. It's no fun."
"Should I run and scream so you'll do it?"
Napatigil ako nang dumampi sa 'king pisngi ang mainit na palad. Prince Reivous raised my head and made our gazes met. His silver eyes met mine.
"You're too unmotivated. You're no fun. I'll bring you to your dorm, I'll spare you this time and come back once you want to live."
Hindi ko malaman kung bakit pero ramdam ko ang likidong umagos sa pisngi ko. Siguro ang tagal ko ng kinimkim 'to. I hated to be alone. I wanted to feel the warmth of a home. I wanted to live but all that was left was an option to become free on the afterlife.
While on my mission outside the borders for four years, I just waited for someone to behead me. I kept it all to myself. There was so much I wanted but I couldn't get it. It was too frustrating.
"You're a crybaby, too?"
Agad kong inalis sa palad niya ang mukha ko saka pinunasan ang luha ko. "I'm sorry. I. . . Just really wanted to cry."
"Tell me you dormitory address, I'll take you there. This may be the last time we'll see each other since you shall never get out when the sun starts to set or else the others might catch you. Don't worry, I won't leave any traces of you and forget that we've met, you unmotivated lady."
What is he up to? Earlier, he acted like he was about to slaughter me and he wants me to send me back to my dormitory? Baliw ba siya?
"Bakit ko naman ibibigay sa 'yo 'yon?"
"You see, I can get your address in whatever way I want. And if you're worried that I have negative intentions towards you. Then, sorry but I'm not interested."

Iminulat ko ang mga mata ko saka nasilayan ang puting kisame. I gazed on the window and the curtains were kept on the left side. Makulimlim pa rin ang kalangitan ngunit umupo ako sa kama at hindi bumalik sa pagtulog. I took a deep sigh as memories flashed in my thoughts.
Oo nga pala, hinatid ako ni Prince Reivous dito. His shadow magic allowed him to teleport here so I got here without interrogation. That must be the reason why I didn't notice his presence immediately. He might helped me escaped pero hindi ko alam kung masaya ba ako na hinatid niya ako ng maayos dito. Hindi ko alam kung anong tumatakbo sa isipan niya but I couldn't oppose him either.
I removed the blanket above me and went to the cabinet. Hinila ko ang pinakaunang drawer at bumungad sa 'kin ang espada ko.
I should be cautious next time. Kahit sino pa ang kaharap ko, hindi ko alam kung sino ang kakampi ko o kalaban ko. Also, kailangan ko ng schedule. Kung sa kanila ang gabi, then, during the day, I'll just gather informations. During the night, I'll make the hunt. I won't do the same mistake I did yesterday.
Natapos na akong magbihis. Wala namang uniform dito so I just used the clothes they prepared for me. It was a light blue dress na hanggang ankles. Kasya naman sa 'kin kaya nakangiti akong nakatayo sa harap ng salamin na nasa gilid ng cabinet na kasing tangkad ko. I tied my hair in ponytail and then, went out from my room.
"Oh, good morning, Elle. Ang aga mo yatang natulog?" pagbati ni Pia na nakaupo lang sa sofa at may hawak na mga puting papel.
She must really be busy na hindi niya napansin na wala ako sa silid ko kagabi. Credits to Prince Reivous as well for using his teleportation ability.
"Hindi naman. May ginawa pa ako saka natulog," sagot ko.
"I see. May pasok ka ngayong umaga?"
"Oo. 6 hours a day ang klase ng Healing Class. I already missed many lessons, kailangan kong humabol," sagot ko.
Dumeretso ako sa may kusina saka kumuha lang ng tinapay at minatamis na strawberry.
“You're not eating proper breakfast?” tanong ni Pia.
“I want to be early today. Saka isa pa, cooking takes time.” While being away from my abode for four years, I'm used of just eating small pieces of bread. Hindi ako sanay magluto sa madaling salita.
She sighed. “Then, come early later, I'll cook for you.”
Umiling-iling ako. “No, I'm alright. Isa pa, may cafeteria naman. I can get food there on my own. Thank you for the offer but don't bother.”
“It's not healthy. You also have to take care of your health.”
Isinubo ko sa sarili ko ang tinapay saka humarap kay Pia na naka-cross arms habang nakasandal sa pader. Nakapako ang paningin niya sa 'kin kaya huminga ako ng malalim.
Why is she acting like my butler, though? And most of all, we only met yesterday. How could she be so friendly to strangers, anyway? Baka naman strategy to ng mga spies.
"But you're my dorm mate. Responsibility natin ang isa't-isa lalo pa't malayo tayo sa household natin," pamimilit niya but I shook my head. I would rather eat a cheap type of bread than a poisoned one.
“Don't think of it that much. Ayos lang talaga.” Naubos ko na ang tinapay kaya tumungo na ako sa pintuan at nilagpasan lang siya.
I couldn't tell whether she's sincere with that but that won't matter. I should not trust anyone that much. Hindi ko na uulitin ang ginawa ko kagabi.

“Good morning, students. We have a new student,” nakangiting turan ng guro habang nasa mga kaklase ko ang paningin.
I stood a distance away from the entrance dahil ang sabi ni Professor Lirya, kailangan daw gan'to ang first day ko. The typical introduction. This is too much hassle pero wala akong magagawa but the blend with the crowd.
“New student?”
“A he or a she?”
“That person missed the rumors.”
“Let's welcome her the Healing Class 1's way.”
Huminga ako ng malalim nang marinig ang mga sinasabi ng mga estudyante. What Pia said might be really true. At mukhang aware pa ang klaseng 'to sa mga usap-usapan sa paligid tungkol sa kanila.
And they were proud of it? Are they kidding me?
Lumingon sa 'kin si Professor Lirya saka tumango siya. Hudyat na gawin ko ang introduction na 'yon. I also nodded and took a deep sigh. Inayos ko muna ng bahagya ang suot kong dress saka pumasok sa classroom.
Silence welcomed me as the students exchanged gazes with me but that didn't gave me chills.
“Introduce yourself,” turan ng guro.
“Good morning, classmates. I'm Ellevythrane Flamarie, 19 years of age. I hope that we'll get along with each other,” saad ko habang pilit na nakangiti sa kanila. I bowed a bit and stood up straight after.
“Do you have any questions to her?” tanong ni Professor Lirya dahilan upang sumigla ang mga mukha ng mga kaklase ko.
Is this how they live up their names of being bullies? Tadtarin ng katanungan ang bagong estudyante?
“Prof, ako!” Itinaas ng isa ang kanyang kamay kays tumango naman si Professor Lirya. “Where are you from?”
