I Slowly sneaked around the house looking for Choco. It's already noon and I doubt she's still here. She must have to school already. After grabbing a pack of potato chips, I decided to go to school. I'm sure yesterday's event was not a nightmare, it really happened. But that can't stop me from living my dreamed life. I'm completely ignorant of what had happened but there is one thing I'm so sure of, I'm no longer an ordinary human.
I slowly went out of the house. I shouldn't be impulsive right now. I need to think before doing anything. If I was right, I am a vampire now according to that psychotic girl who made me drunk her blood. And most vampires can be damaged by sun. I should test if sun can really harm me.
" Okay, let's see. " I slowly put my hand outside the door where it caught sunlight.
" Woah! Nothing happened! Cool! "
Great! Now, I have to figure out how to get a ride. Choco bring her car with her and I can't possibly walk to school. Well, I guess I can. I just don't want to. Walking is so tiring and I feel listless now.
CRAP! I think I just walk right now.
I started to walk lazily but as I walk on the empty street, I saw a black car approaching. Ah! I'm so lucky! This could be a good ride.
To make sure the car would stop for me, I stand at the middle of the road and wait for the slowly approaching car. The car seems slow so probably I wouldn't get killed.
But it was far from what I expected. The car approaches in full speed that I can almost feel the wind strongly blows at me because of the force. Oh! What an impulsive action! I shouldn't risk my life for a ride! This is the end of my life. Goodbye earth! Then I closed my eyes and waited for my upcoming death. Dear God, please don't send me to hell.
" Are you okay little girl? What happened? Are you hurt? " I opened my eyes when I heard someone talked to me with panicky voice.
Thank God! I'm still alive.
" Hey, something hurt kid? " I detected concern from his voice. I smiled at him though he can't see it.
" Uh! My feet hurts. Could you give me a ride to Itami College Sir Shin? "
I mentally chuckled when I saw his brows furrowed in confusion. He didn't recognize me. Well, with my outfit, I'm really unrecognizable. And much better because I will be dammed if he knows who am I.
" And you are? "
" Just a student of Itami. Please lend me a ride. I think I sprained my ankle. " Yeah! Yeah! Old school right. Who cares. This is my lucky day. A ride with your crush teacher would be so cool. And yeah again! Sir Shin is my teacher.
" O-okay. Hop in. "
I gladly hopped in the car and Sir Shin drive silently. After a few minutes, we arrived at school. Aww, so sad.
I went out of the car and looked at Sir. Shin.
I slowly take off the black face mask I'm wearing and the sunglasses which is supposed to protect me from sun. I saw his jaw dropped.
" Thanks for the ride, Sir Shin. "
I walked away. Geez! I want to tease Sir Shin more but my stomach is rumbling. My monsters can't wait.
I rushed to the cafeteria but stopped when I saw a weird guy standing at the door.
" Oh! This must be an inn. " He seems like he's talking to himself so I laughed out loudly. He talks like he had never been in this place.
Like seriously? He called a cafeteria an inn?
" Yeah! Yeah! Whatever! Don't block the door. " I said to him. He turned around and my jaw almost drop to the floor when I saw his face.
" It was you! " I can't help but raise my voice.
He's the guy... The monster guy. I couldn't forget his oh so calm demeanor, his height, his lean body and his pretty looking face that was prettier than of the girl's and his emotionless yet calm eyes void of anything.
He tilted his heads sidewards and look closely at me. His face is void of emotions. How scary...
" Sorry, I didn't know you. "
What? So he's saying that I am that plain that even a guy I almost killed totally didn't recognize me? Ugh! So arrogant! Jerk!
" FINE! NEXT TIME I'LL GONNA HIT YOU WITH A TRUCK SO YOU WOULDN'T SURVIVE! "
After that, I marched angrily to the cafeteria.
" Oh! It's so hot! " I complaint to myself while taking off the mask which I have worn and the creepy black sunglasses and directly throw it on the trash bin.
" Sumiko! Here! " I looked at that crazy girl who yelled in the middle of the cafeteria. She was sitting next to the window.
" Choco, do you really have to shout? " I said as I am approaching her.
" You are deaf, so of course I have to shout. " She said casually which I ignored. " By the way, have you gone mad? What's with that freakin' outfit? " She asked as if I've done the most ridiculous thing in the world. Psh!
" This is what you called conservative fashion. " I reasoned out. Of course I can't tell her that this is supposed to protect me from sunlight.
" Yeah! A long sleeve, paired with skirt with a Jacket a knee-length sock that is even longer than your skirt, a T-shirt and another Jacket. Not to mention that black cap, black sunglasses and black mask. Are you perhaps attending a burial? "     
She sniggered. What the! Is she making fun of me?
" Don't mind me, that's my fashion statement. " I show her smug smile.
" Whatever. Just take the food already. " She even gestured like she was shooing me or something.
" Get food yourself. " I retorted.
But I still went to the cafeteria lady to buy foods. After taking what we need I immediately return to the table.
" Pigging out? " Choco seemed to be amused with what I buy. Tsk. I'm so hungry right now. No one cares if I ate all I can.
" Shut up and just eat. "
I don't care how do I look right now. Honestly, aside from the potato chips I ate on the way, I have not eaten anything since last night.
But as I am devouring my foods I feel a weird feeling like someone is throwing a heated stare at me. So I turn around to look for the owner of the intimidating stare. And I met a pair of dark eyes staring at me like I am the only person in the whole cafeteria.
