Two weeks have passed but I'm still haunted by what I saw on that day. It was just, just not normal. How can a living person not die after being hit by a racing speed of car? That is impossible, unless he is not human.
Oh God! He's - he's a monster!
For two weeks all I can think is that he is not a human. What is he? Is he a vampire? A zombie? A demon? Ahhh! I can't believe there's someone like him in this world.
Calm down Sumiko, there's many things to do right now than think about that inhuman creature. First of all, you have many school works. You have to finish all of it on time or else your future will never be at peace. Right, just stop thinking about that freaky guy.
" Hey. "
" AHHHH! " I shrieked and almost throw up my notebook when I feel something cold on my shoulder.
" Stop it! You're so paranoid! " Oh! Thank goodness it was just Choco.
" God! You scared me to death! " I said panting.
" What's up with you? Did your brain stop functioning well again? You're so strange! " Choco said irritatingly. She sat on the sofa and binge on the banana chips she's carrying. I just rolled my eyes. There's no sense in explaining to her. She wouldn't believe me for sure.
" By the way, did you already finish the painting in Arts 3? " I asked her.
Even if it didn't looked like it, I'm two years older than Choco so its my responsibility to look after her, and that includes checking her school works.
" OMEGASH! I totally forgot about it! I didn't even buy any material for it! " She panicky said.
I just rubbed my temples. Right, I always knew she is like this. Choco is always irresponsible when it comes to school works. When will this kid grow up?
" So what now? Go buy your materials. " I said and slumped on the sofa. I felt really tired today. Maybe from overthinking.
" But, I need to complete my sketch draft for it. Can you buy it for me? Pretty please! " Then she showed me her pouty pink lips. Ugh, gross!
" Fine! Fine! But you should pay me! I need to buy coffee! " I said.
" Okay. Be quick! " She handed me the cash which made me smile really wide.
Money is not a problem for Choco. Her parents are very supportive, financially, so when it comes to money, Choco is very generous. And that's what I lack. So let's say I am milking on Choco all this time. Nah! It's not appropriate to call it milking, let's just call it give and take.
I take the money from her and went out. Since its already dusk, its almost dark outside. I think its already six thirty in the afternoon. Ah, I should be fast, or it will be totally dark here.
I quickly walk to the store to buy the materials and a cup of coffee. Yeah! I'm a coffee lover.
I sat at the bench outside the store and quickly empty my cup. Afterwards, I throw the cup at the nearby trash bin and headed home.
The road was surprisingly quiet. There are few passerby and even fewer cars. This night seems too dark too. I feel the hairs in my neck standing up. Oh ghost, please don't show up now.
I walk quickly but stop suddenly when I saw something strange in my peripheral vision at the corner of the street. When I take a close look, I saw a glowing blue something and moving. My curiosity grows wide as well as my anxiousness as I approached the "thing". It actually resembles pair of eyes.
With a thumping heart and a trembling hands, I opened the flashlight of my phone as I approach "it". And to my surprise, I saw a bloody girl. And when I say bloody girl, I really mean a girl covered with blood. She was slumping on the corner with bloods all over her body and not moving a bit. And the glowing blue thing is actually her eyes.
" Miss, are you okay? " I asked her hesitantly while dropping my things in the floor.
There's so many blood in the floor. I know though that she is still conscious, because her eyes are wide open.
Her lips curved into small smile. Then her hand reached for my face.
" You're too unlucky girl. Fate brought you here. "
I don't understand what she's saying but I can't let her just die. I have to do something.
" Hang in there! I will take you to the hospital. "
But she shove my hand when I tried to carry her. " No need. I'm dying anyway. Come, drink my blood. "
I stared at her in horror.
" WHAT? Are you crazy? How can I drink your blood? " This girl is psychotic. Maybe she escaped mental hospital and ended up here. What a pity. But still I wouldn't let her die.
" No, I'm not. I'm a vampire though. " I almost jump out when she showed her fangs. Oh God! It's real.
" Come, unfortunate girl. Drink my blood. "
" Are you nuts? How can you claim to be a vampire when you want me to drink your blood? Are you trying to say that fishes do fly? " I foolishly retorted.
I know I shouldn't be arguing with a wounded delirious girl but I can't help it. Her logic was crooked for me. Imagine, she said she's a vampire and she wants me to drink her blood! Ain't it supposed to be the other way around?
" I don't have much time. Stop being an idiot and drink my blood! "
See? She even called me an idiot!
I want to argue with her more but she gripped my jaws tightly forcing to get​ my mouth open.
" I'm sorry dear. But fate brought you here. "
Then, with her sharp fangs, she bite her wrist and let her blood flow on my mouth. I tasted a mix of rusting iron and something gross as the liquid enters my throat. I almost throw up with its horrible taste and smell.
" W-why? "
Tears rolled in my cheeks. I can't believe she made me do that horrible thing. It was so inhuman and gross.
" I'm sorry but fate brought you here. You are destined to be a Feline- - - "
Suddenly, she stopped talking and pushed me with a wide shocked eyes.
" CRAP! They're already here. RUN AWAY! QUICK! " She look so firm that time that I couldn't help but stare at her in awe.
" Quick! Run away! Don't let them find you! "
But she's doesn't just firm. She's also desperate. With what​? What was her fears?
" Why? "
But she pushed me once more. Now with greater force that I found myself in the middle of the road.
" The vampire hunters will gonna kill you. "
After hearing that, I run away.
