Thyrone's POV
As I'm doing my papers, someone suddenly knocked.
“Sir, here's your new secretary.” I just looked on her up and down. Her looks is average, how dissapointing.
“Okay come in.” I gave her my schedules that I wrote.
“Arrange it.”
“Y-Yes sir.”
“Oh by the way, what's your name?”
“I'm Luna Sylverian, Sir.”
“Ms. Luna, after that, get me a coffee.”
“Okay sir.”
It's been five years since I did that bet. And now I'm here, being a CEO. I was busy these days, our company is growing larger and larger. And of course I'm handling the main branch, mga pinsan ko naghahandle ng ibang branch. Ilang minuto lang ay bumalik na ang secretary ko at inilagay ang kape sa mesa. Tinikman ko ito, well atleast her coffee tastes good, but I acted like it's too sweet for me.
“Are you trying to kill your new boss with Diabetes? It's too sweet.”
“N-No sir. I'll get one ag—”
“No, okay na 'to. Do your work instead.” I just rolled my eyes and sighed, when someone suddenly knocked.
“Sir, Ms. Kierra is here.”
“Hey.”
“What do you want?”
“Hang out with me?”
“You know I'm busy.”
“Hang out with me or your dad will know that you had one-night stand with the daughter of one of directors?”
“Okay Let's go.”
“HAHAHAHA so easy to manipulate.”
She's my childhood bestfriend, Kierra Husley. Her family also owns a big company. But of course, our company was larger than theirs. Kahit hapon pa lang pumunta na kami sa bar para uminom.
“How are you and your dad?”
“You always know our relationship, ignoring each other when we accidentally meet and all.”
“Still no progress huh?”
“Wag mo ng asahang magiging mabait kami sa isa't isa, for him, I'm just someone who will fill his seat and will continue his company.”
“Still, a son and a father should—”
“You know it's impossible.” napatahimik na lang ako habang iniinom ang beer ko.
“So impossible.” she just looked at me.
Since bata pa kami, Kierra always take care of me, siya ang tumayong nanay ko sa lahat ng pagkakataon na kailangan ko.
“So, I heard na may bago ka nang secretary?”
“Yeah, her name was.. Luna?”
“Nakakailang palit ka ng secretary Thyrone, grow up.”
“I'm growing up you know, come on I'm 28 already.”
“Exactly, so act like one.”
“It's just, lahat ng secretary ko bukod sa 'di kagandahan, slacker pa.”
“Weh? O talagang naghahanap ka ng sexy?”
“Oww pa'no mo nalaman?”
“See? Immature.”
“But mature in—”
“Suntok gusto mo?”
“Sungit neto.”
“By the way, padating na sila.”
“Who?”
“Our drinking buddies na kahit anong oras hindi papalampasin ang pag inom.”
“Grabe, you invited them? Ang lalakas pa naman uminom no'n.”
“Of course. 'Di sulit ang inuman pag walang uubos ng pera mo diba?”
“Tsk, ako nanaman.”
As we are waiting for our friends, may pumasok. Akala ko kaibigan na namin, but it's a girl. A plain girl. Naalala ko nanaman siya. That girl walks towards a man na nasa likod lang namin.
“H-Hey.”
“Oh, you're here.” I can here their conversation, when suddenly..
“I-I like you.” the girl confessed her feelings for the man.
I just remembered, that she also said that, in the same way.
“Sorry Cathy, but.. We don't feel the same.”
And he rejected her, said what I also said, in the same way.
“Stupid, why is she keeps popping on my mind lately?”
“Who?” napalingon ako kay Kierra.
“Nothing.”
“Oh ayan na sila.”
“Yo!”
Hapon hanggang gabing inuman, and I hooked up another girl for another night. Nagising na lang ako sa isang hotel, agad naman akong nagbihis at umalis. Nasa labas ako ng hotel at tumatawag ng taxi ng biglang may tumigil na kotse. Nakikilala ko ang kotseng ito.
“Hop in.”
“Wow, early in the morning sinundo mo 'ko? I'm touched.”
“Stupid, I was shopping.”
“Ay ganon? Aww.”
We drove up to my house, and sakto na may dala siya na lulutuin. So she made me a hang over soup while I'm on shower.
“Thyrone, your secretary quitted again.”
“What?! She was just hired yesterday!”
“Ewan, sabi nung iba nahirapan daw sa work. Sabi naman nung iba nainis sa ugali mo kasi nag bar ka tas iniwan mo siya.”
“What the—”
“Oh and nagalit nga daw pala mga clients niyo sa kaniya kasi 'di ka umattend ng meeting.”
“Oh so that's why she left?”
“Don't worry daw, may nahanap daw agad sila. And iba daw sa mga nahired nila yung nahanap nila ngayon.” agad akong umupo para kumain habang inilalapag pa niya ang mga pagkain.
“They said she was hot and well educated. Sexy daw and goddess-looking.” habang nagsasalita siya ay sinabayan niya akong kumain.
“Really? Can't wait to see her.”
“Pag sexy talaga ginaganahan.”
“Syempre HAHAHAHA.”
Ilang oras pa at hinatid niya na ko sa office at dumiretso na din siya sa company nila, wala pa yung new secretary.
“I'm excited. Gaano kaya siya kaganda?” salita ko mag-isa, nagtatanggal pa lang ako ng coat may biglang kumatok.
“Come in.”
“Sir, here's your new secretary.”
Napatingin ako sa kaniya, napakaganda niya nga at napakasexy.
“Good morning sir, I'm Lumina Raven. Your new secretary.”
“W-What??”
D-Did I just heard L-Lumina Raven?
“H-Have a s-seat..” agad siyang umupo sa sofa at umupo 'din ako.
Hindi lang talaga ako makapaniwala sa narinig ko, that name that I heard, is the same name ng babaeng pinaglaruan ko noon. But as I look at her, it's impossible for her to become a goddess like this, well I can say she could be sexy but she can't be so beautiful and ravishing. Mahirap lang siya so tiyak wala siyang pera pang retoke.
“Sir, here's my resume.” agad kong kinuha ang resume niya, at tinignan kung saan siya nag graduate ng university.
“Harvard.. University?”
“Ah, yes sir. I graduated from Harvard University.”
So I guess, it's not her. They just has the same name, they are not the same person. The university that our company helped 5 years ago was Hope University.
“Ahh, so you come from a prestigious university. HAHA.” I just laughed because I'm relieved na hindi siya yon. Agad kong inabot ang schedules ko sa kaniya.
“Here's my schedules.”
Lumina's POV
He's still the same, same jerk.
He didn't even changed, he still looks like a player. Tsk, loooook at that eyes. He's really observing my body.
“I will do my work, make sure to arrange it well.”
“Yes, sir.”
Habang inaayos ko ang sched niya, napapatingin ako sa kaniya. Ganon pa din talaga siya, edad lang ang nagbago, but his mindset didn't even became matured. He's the CEO pero hindi siya mukhang CEO.
“Ms. Raven, coffee please.”
“Oh, sure sir.”
Agad akong naglakad papunta sa coffee machine. At sinadya kong hindi lagyan ng asukal ang kape niya.
“Here, sir.”
“Oh thanks.” nilagok niya ito at naibuga niya agad.
“What the— ba't ang pait?!”
“Sir, sorry wala pong asukal do'n e.”
“Haist, 'di bali na nga.” inilayo niya ang kape at nag focus na sa work niya.
—FLASHBACK—
Actually, dapat sa director lang ako mag aapply bilang secretary or whatever. Since nalaman kong may nauna na sa position ng secretary niya, but the director said hindi niya na din kailangan ng secretary dahil may new hired na.
Habang nasa company niya ako, naisip kong mag ikot-ikot.
“Wow, ang laki pala talaga ng company ng loko.” but as I was walking, nadaanan ko ang office niya. I was curious kung nando'n siya so I tried to peek a little, but I saw this situation.
“Are you trying to kill me with Diabetes? It's too sweet.”
“No sir, I'll get another—”
“No, okay na 'to. Do your work instead.” napabalik ang new secretary niya sa upuan at halatang kinakabahan ito. For the split second, I was reminded of myself. I was like that, plain and trying hard to make someone like me.
I saw him rolled his eyes and smirking as he looks at secretary's knees shaking. Nainis ako sa ginawa niya, just because she's not good looking he tried to be mean on her.

I guess, I did the revenge for that girl.
Thyrone's POV
Does she like coffee na walang asukal? Napaka pait ng tinimpla niya.
“I'll just get my own coffee.” agad akong tumayo, antukin kasi ako pag nakatitig sa papeles so kailangan ko ng coffee.
Pagpunta ko sa coffee machine, nakita ko na may asukal sa tabi ng coffee machine.
“What the— may asukal pa ah, ang dami-dami oh?!” did she just lied to me? Interesting. Is she trying to make her boss her enemy?
Lumina's POV
I'm sure he knew na sadya kong hindi nilagyan ng asukal, pft pake ko sa kaniya.
“Ms. Lumina, are you done arranging it?” bigla siyang pumasok at sakto ay tapos na ko na i-arrange ang kailangan niya.
“Yes sir, by 9:00 AM you have a meeting with our client Mr. William Farson on Garilei Hotel.”
“What time is it?” tumingin siya sa relo niya para tignan ang oras.
“Oh, it's 8:20 AM. Let's go na dahil malayo 'yon para sakto ang pagdating natin.”
“Sure sir.”
Thyrone's POV
Kinuha ko ang coat ko at inayos ang necktie ko ng bigla siyang tumayo at lumapit sa'kin.
“Sir?”
“Y-Yes?” nilapit niya ang mukha niya sa mukha ko na ikinagulat at ikinautal ko naman. Ngayong malapitan, I can really see why they said she was like a goddess.
Her face is almost perfect, she's like a doll. With a perfect reddish cupid bow lip, single eyelid and beautiful eye lashes, her beautiful nose bridge. I almost thought I'm looking at a goddess or a doll.
“Sir?”
“Y-Yes?”
“Your necktie..”
“O-Oh..” aayusin ko na sana ito pero bigla niyang hinablot ito at inayos ang pagkakatali nito.
“S-So you're good at tying necktie.” she just smiled, even her smile is flawless.
“Okay sir let's go.”
“Okay..”
Now that I saw how ravishing she is, nahihiya tuloy ako sa kaniya. I don't know to myself why I am like this, it's so not like me. I've dated so many girls yet, she almost made me fall with just one close glance. Habang nasa elevator kami, hindi ko mapigilan ang sarili ko na mapatingin sa kaniya, even her side view can make a man fall in just a second.
Lumina's POV
Nararamdaman kong nakatingin siya sa'kin, but I should play dumb that I don't know how his eyes were glued on me.
We drove to that restaurant, malayo pala talaga siya. Umalis kami ng 8:30 mahigit at nakarating kami ng 9:02. Thankfully kakarating lang din ng client namin. I observe how they talk, how they look neat even on eating. So gan'to pala talaga ang mga mayayaman, formalities comes first.
“So, do you like our proposal?”
“Yes, so much. It benefits us so much, such a generous proposal.” nagkamay sila at pinaunang umalis ang client.
“Ms. Raven, I'll just go to the men's room, wait for me here.”
“Sure, sir.” umupo muna ako at hinintay siya.
Ilang minutes pa nakalipas ay natanaw ko na siya na papalapit sa'kin, malapit na siya sa'kin ng may biglang tumawag sa kaniya mula sa likuran ko.
“Thyrone!”
“Oh, hey. Andito ka din pala?”
“Yeah, also a meeting with a client.” napatayo ako para batiin kung sino man ang kinakausap niya, papalapit siya sa'kin at mukha din siyang mayaman.
“Hello Sir, I'm Lumina Raven, Mr. Fierre's secretary.”
“I know who you are.”
“E-Excuse me?” nagulat at kinabahan ako sa sinabi niya, he knows me? Nagpunta ba siya sa university dati? How did he know me?
“W-What do you mean by you know me sir?”
“You're the student sa Hope University 'diba?” agad na sumingit sa usapan namin si Thyrone.
“No pre, she's not her. Their name are same, but hindi siya yon.”
“Oh, then I guess I was mistaken. I'm Clyde Fierre by the way, Thyrone's cousin.” agad niyang inabot ang kamay niya at kinuha ko naman 'yon para makipag kamay.
“Wanna go for an early lunch? My treat.”
“Sure, Marami din akong gustong itanong about sa branch ng company natin.”
“S-Sir, but you have another meeting with a client.”
“Cancel it.”
“B-But sir—”
“Hey Ms. Raven? Go eat with us, I'm sure gutom ka na, kanina pa kita nakikitang nakatayo.” wala na kong nagawa kundi makisama na lang sa gagawin nila.

“So musta yung branch na hawak mo?”
“Ayon, lumalaki na siya. Marami din nag iinvest and I'm also busy these days. Musta naman ang main?”
“Super busy.”
So I guess mga kamag anak nila may hawak ng ibang branch, and since anak ng chairman si Thyrone, siya sa main branch. Really rich successor.
“By the way Thyrone.”
“Yup?”
“Ngayong nakita ko ng malapitan, talaga pa lang ang ganda ng secretary mo.”
“Really?” I just smiled but I'm smirking on my mind when I heard that. Habang kumakain kami, bigla ko natapon ang juice na katabi ko.
“Oh my—”
“Hey, are you okay?” biglang tumayo si Clyde at kumuha ng tissue at pinunas sa braso ko.
“Y-Yes sir, I'm okay.” nakatingin lang sa'min si Thyrone at halatang walang pakialam, talaga naman, ano pa ba ieexpect sa lalaking 'to e wala talaga siyang pakialam sa mundo?
“The tissue are not enough to clean the juice, here use my handkerchief para mabilis matanggal.”
“T-Thank you.”
Ibang iba ang pinsan niya sa kaniya, well-mannered, gentleman. Pinupunasan ko ang sleeve ko ng bigla niyang kinuha ang handkerchief at pinunasan ng mabuti ang sleeve at braso ko.
“Ganito dapat, para mabilis matanggal yung juice.”
“B-But sir, I'm really okay tubig lang yan, I can just wash it.”
“I hate unclean people, I'm sorry about that.”
“O-Okay sir.”
He's really a gentleman, ibang iba sa isa d'yan.
Thyrone's POV
Habang nasa tabi ko sila at pinupunasan ang sleeve niya, nakatingin lang ako sa kanila. Juice lang naman yung natapon hindi naman asido pero makapag act 'tong pinsan ko parang ikakamatay ni Ms. Raven.
“Haist, nag mantsa tuloy.”
“It's okay sir, I can manage myself.”
“Don't call me sir, hindi mo ako boss. Just call me Clyde.”
“O-Okay."
“Do you want to borrow my coat? May pupuntahan pa kayo, nag mantsa kasi.” Before I realized, nakatayo na pala ako at hinuhubad ang coat ko at isinuot sa kaniya.
“Use mine.”
“T-Thank you sir.”
Hindi ko alam, bigla na lang kumilos katawan ko. I don't know why I feel so annoyed when I saw how he cared for my secretary.
“Sir, the next meeting will start on 11:00AM. With our shareholders.”
“Okay, let's go. Thanks for the lunch bro.”
“No it's okay.”
Agad din nag thank you si Ms. Raven at nginitian siya ni Clyde, kakakilala pa lang ang sweet na agad. Tsk.
“See you again, Ms. Pr'tty.”
“O-Okay sir— I mean, C-Clyde.”
Lumina's POV
Agad kaming umalis sa restaurant para makaabot sa meeting.
But he suddenly acted so cold, like so cold. Mahahalata mong naiirita siya or what. Ano kaya problema nito? Wala naman siguro akong ginawang mali kanina. Ilang minuto lang ay nakarating na kami sa company, pagkababa na pagkababa namin ay sinabihan niya agad ako.
“Mr. Raven, just wait on my office.”
“Sir? But after the meeting I still have to remind—”
“Bakit 'di ba 'ko pupunta sa office? You don't need to tail me everywhere I go.”
“O-Oh, okay sir.” bigla siyang nagsalita na parang galit o kung ano. Wala naman akong ginawa, so ano nagalit siya nung natapon ko yung juice? Ako naman yung natapunan at hindi siya so ba't nagagalit siya?
Thyrone's POV
Pagkasakay ko sa elevator, I just really feel so annoyed right now. I hate seeing her face after that happened. Ba't ba nagkakaganito ako? I hate it.
“What? Pr'tty? Tsk. Why did he treated her like she's princess when she's just a secretary? Why is she looking at him lovingly?” patuloy kong kinakausap ang sarili ko at bumaba sa 5th floor at pumasok sa meeting room.
“Let's start.” sabi ko habang naiinis.
“Is there something wrong sir? You look so angry.”
“Nothing, just start the meeting.”
Meeting about how our sales are going up, planning and all. Pero ang pinaka nakakairita sa meeting, ay kung paano nila punahin na isa akong playboy at 'di pa din nagbabago.
“I heard that Mr. Fierre slept with one of our client's girlfriend, and skipping meetings just to drink alcohol. Do you guys think that it's right to neglect your work just to play around? I must say Mr. Fierre that this is not a joke. Our company's reputation is on the line if you keep playing around, I heard you skipped another meeting this morning.”
Dictates and all, I'm sick of hearing that. Ayoko lang ibaon sarili ko sa trabaho, I still have to find time for my happiness. Besides malaki naman na ang company and it has many branch.
Agad akong pumasok sa office ko na iritadong iritado.
“Sir, your next client cancelled the meeting. They said they have personal reason for this.”
“Okay, what time ang simula ng next meeting?”
“1:00 PM, with FoodCorp.”
“Okay, I have one hour para makapagpahinga.”
I leaned on my chair, pero biglang lumubog ang sandalan ng upuan ko.
“What the hell is wrong with this?!”
“What's wrong sir?”
“It's wrecked.” bigla siyang lumapit sa'kin at inilapit nanaman ang mukha niya para ayusin ang upuan ko. Her face is so close with mine, and her legs.. It's distracting me.
She tried na ayusin ang upuan at itaas ulit ang sandalan nito.
“Sir, try it.” agad ko siyang sinunod at bigla akong napasandal ng sobra dahil nalaglag ulit, but this time, kasama siya. Muntik na kami mag kiss, at parehas kaming nagulat.
I just stared at her eyes, nose, and finally her lips. Her lips looks so soft. I want to touch it.
“Sir? Sir?”
“Y-Yes?” bigla akong nagising sa katotohanan ng tawagin niya ko.
“Are you okay sir?”
“Y-Yes I'm okay.”
“I guess we need to buy a new chair for you, sir.” I cleared my throat and tried to stand up as I look away, but suddenly, our lips met.
Parehas kaming nagulat, and frozen on that position.
