I smiled at him with the word I received from him, I love you as my friend. It was a relief for me kasi parang sinasabi na rin niya na naka move-on na siya.
Naglakad na ulit si Zed habang tintulak ang wheelchair ko.
"Why did you like me?" I ask him because I'm just curious, with all those girls he flirted he ended up with me chasing.
"I don't know, I just woke up one day then boom! This playboy is already inlove with the witch." he laugh.
How funny someone admires me despite of my imperfections, but then I can't push my heart to love someone who also loves me.
"You can find better than me..." I smiled even he won't see it.
I know there's someone better than me, I'm not the best of all. Someone who has more charm than me, someone who has good heart than me and someone who can love him back.
We arrived at the van, the manong driver and Zed helped me from transfering to the van.
"Miss na kita anak" niyakap ako ni mama "Ano okay ka lang ba?...." nag-aalalang tanong niya.
"Naman! Nagmana yata ang muscles ko kay papa!" pagbibiro ko.
Umiling-iling si papa "Asan yung muscles diyan....."
"Tanggapin niyo nalang po pa na mas macho ako sa'yo." umirap ako at tumawa.
I hug the both of them with my two arms, nasa gitna nila kasi ako para daw pag nakatulog ako sa byahe ay masalo nila ako ng balikat nila.
Because of the tiredness I dozed off to sleep and woke up infront of our house. Dito daw muna ako para may kasama, magpupunta din daw si Harley dito kapag hindi na siya busy.
"Paborito mo anak oh...." inilapag ni mama ang chicken curry sa side table ko, she knows that I can't resist it.
Kahit sulyap palang at amoy ang nagagawa ko ay nagugutom na agad ako!
"Mama paborito din namin 'yan." Dana and Leigh said when they came inside of my room.
My mama caressed my head and kisses me on my forehead, it was calming.
"Oh siya magluluto muna ako." sambit ni mama at lumabas na sa akin kwarto para lutuan ang mga ito!
Kahit hindi man nag-aral ng culinary si mama she seems like a professional chef, sa tuwing nagluluto siya sumasali ako pero napapagalitan lang ako dahil mali-mali ang sukat na nalalagay ko ng mga sarsa.
"Are you okay na?" Leigh ask me sitting at the edge of my bed.
I'm leaning backward the headrest para kumain ng niluto na chicken curry ni mama.
"I'm really okay Leigh, you don't have to worry anymore." hinawakan ko ang kamay niya at nginitian siya, "I'm okay..."
Tumango na lamang ito, habang si Dana naman ay busy sa paglalaro ng plants vs. zombies sa cellphone ko. Hayst kahit kailan talaga ay childish parin siya.
Naiwan akong mag-isa sa kwarto dahil bumaba na silang dalawa ni Leigh at Dana para daw kumain, it's too silent so I turn the tv on to watch but it turns out that it was all about my restroom accident that night.
People have their own theories, some are saying that it could be someone who hates me and some are saying that it could be someone who's jealous about me.
That accident didn't give me a traumatic brain injury, I was thankful though but....it was just a nightmare for me. Hindi ko alam kung paano na lalabas ngayon na hindi natatakot sa mga posibilidad na mangyari sa akin, it was just scaring me.
"Okay Kel, It's okay..." I inhale "Everything will be okay no one will going to hurt you again," I exhale.
I left my plate on the side table, though I clean it with tissue and water para hindi langgamin.
"Goodbye Kel...." she chuckles waving her hands at me, "See you never." then she left not even helping me.
Who's her? My memory became more clear now, she have coffee colored hair according to what I remembered and her lips were wearing red lipstick.
I remembered that I was asking her for help but she was just standing there and laugh at me, she's the real definition of witch.
"How are you Kel? Do you want me to start an investigation for what happened to you? It was awful indeed." she's Sabrina, our class president when we were in 8th grade, she has a lot of changes.
I shook my head "I have a suspect....."
"What?! Who!" mas lumapit siya sa akin para malaman ang sasabihin ko.
I bit my lips, I know it's her. I know how much she hate me...maybe hate is not enough...she despise me.
"No nevermind.." I refused to answer, I'm not sure with it.
She sighed "It's okay Kel don't worry even though the law won't make that person guilty, karma is still walking behind to that person."
The way she talk made me realize, the bullied Sabrina back then is one of the best lawyers now, the hideous turns into gorgeous...her transformation just make me proud.
Umalis na si Sabrina para daw makapagpahinga na ako, she bought me fruits. Days has been past my friends and relatives came to visit me, our relatives from the province even brought a sack of fruits.
"Are you sure you don't want to start an investigati-" I cut Harley off.
Umiling ako "No.... I wanna live normal after this." I smile at her.
Even I know it was not an accident, the time I walked in the restroom to retouch my makeup the floor doesn't have any spilled water. But the moment I came back to get my car keys was the proof that someone did it intentionally, just to hurt me.
"Fine...but I'm telling you this Kel it's better to know your enemies." Harley still insist.
They aren't my enemies, I'm their enemies.
I shook my head for the last time, "No, my decision is final."
This is just another wave of my life it will be serene the moment I decide not to fight with it.
