= 𝗣𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗖𝗘𝗧𝗢𝗡 =
Napalingon ako sa alarm clock kong tumutunog, its 6:00 am in the morning. Gising na ako bago pa man tumunog ang alarm clock.
I close my laptop and clean my table. Tumayo na ako at tumungo sa bathroom to take a shower.
When I'm done, pumasok ako ng walk in closet. Nagsimula akong magbihis, binuksan ko ang drawer na mayroong lamang different types and colors of watches. Kinuha ko ang black and wear it.
After wearing my black suit. I open one drawer again, mayroon naman itong different colors of necktie. Kinuha ko ang blue necktie and wear it too.
When everything is okay. Lumabas na ako ng walk in closet, at ng k'warto ko.
Hindi na ako nag-abala pa for breakfast.
My house is big but I'm alone living here. Tanging ako lang and no one allowed to enter here. I don't have maids and mens. I want a silent and peaceful place.
Pumunta ako ng garage, agad akong pumasok sa black Ferrari car of mine. I press the button to open the gate.
When the gate is open, I started to drive my car and got out. I press again the button to close my gate.
I own the whole village. Walang nakatirang iba, tanging bahay ko lang ang mag-isang nakatayo sa village.
Lawson Village is the name of this village. Wala ring magtatangkang pumasok sa loob ng village because they will know what will happen to them once they attempt to enter.
Everyone knows how cruel and ruthless I am. I am billionaire guy with my age 26. I am a tidy and organize person, I hate messy things.
I stop my car in front of my company.
Kaagad akong lumabas ng kotse.
"Good morning, Sir." Beckham greet me.
I nod to him and give my car key to him.
Pumasok ako sa loob. Wala pa ang mga employee akong nakikita cause 6:30 am pa lang. Maaga talaga ako pumapasok.
Agad kong narating ang office ko. I sit immediately to my swivel chair and start reading paper works.
"Sir, your coffee." Beckham said,
He put the cup of coffee in my table.
I stop reading, kinuha ko ang cup of coffee and take a sip on it.
"What is my schedule for today?" I asked,
Beckham took his tablet.
Beckham is my right arm, my secretary and assistant. We have the same age and I can call him a friend, I guess.
"You have meeting at 9:00 - 11:00 am. At 11:30 with client Mr. Rick, meeting in Singapore at 1:00 pm, flight at 2:00 pm going to New York to meet and have meeting with Mr. Smithfield. Your mother set you a blind date with Ms. Clara Barton, your meeting time is 3:00 in the afternoon." Beckham said,
Kumunot ang noo ko when I heard that blind dates.
Mom knows how I hate it.
Napabaling ang tingin ko sa phone ko. Speaking of mom, she's calling.
Inilapag kong muli ang iniinom kong kape.
Kinuha ko ang phone and answer it. I prepare myself for what my mother going to say.
"Hey son, you need to meet Clara Barton later at 3 in the afternoon. She is a nice girl, I bet you will like her." she said and I can see she's smiling, ear to ear.
"Mom, I don't do blind dates and you know that. I am busy and I don't have time to meet her, whoever she is." I said calmly,
I never go with blind dates. Never kong pinuntahan ang lahat ng sinet-up niyang blind dates for me. I always said I forget it and I'm busy.
"No, you will going to meet her, know her and bring her to my birthday party tomorrow night." she said and with authority.
Beckham show to me his tablet. Tiningnan ko ang binigay niyang tablet and it shows information about Clara Barton, the girl mom mention.
My eyebrows raised, she is beautiful but not compare with the lady I met months ago.
I never have a girlfriend. Kahit isa, wala akong nagustuhan and I don't want yet to settle myself to someone. And if I does, I want the girl who I choose to be with me.
"She is not my type, Mom." wika ko,
"Ow, please! Kailan ka ba mayroong natipuhan? Lahat naman ng ipinapakilala ko sa iyo ay magaganda with high standards yet hindi pa rin nila ma-meet ang standard mo." Mom said,
Napasandal ako sa swivel chair.
I remembered the night when I met a girl, hindi ko nakita ang full face niya because of the small light and the masquerade mask she's wearing.
But, she caught my attention that night. I never look at the girl. I never give a long stare nor glance, I even don't give a compliment to a girl.
Just her, only her. When I touch her, three words came from my mind.
I WANT HER.
I want her to be mine. Pero nawala na lang siya, I didn't see her anymore.
"Son? Are you still there?" Natauhan ako bigla.
"Yeah," ani ko,
"My decision is final. Clara Barton will be your girlfriend and you will bring her tomorrow night. My gosh, son! 26 years old ka na yet you don't have any girlfriend kahit isa. Ayaw kong tumanda ng walang nakikitang apo." mahaba niyang wika.
I closed my eyes and sigh.
"Mom, listen. I don't want her to be my girlfriend. She is not my type and don't like her even just a bit. And one more thing, I forgot to tell you. I am married. I have a wife already." wika ko,
I feel Beckham look at me.
"What? You do? Since when? Don't make an excuse, Princeton. Don't joke with me." she said,
"I'll bring her tomorrow night. I'll introduce her to the whole family. I'm so busy this past few months, that's why I forgot to tell you." I said and hang up.
I close my eyes once again.
"Sir, are you serious about that? The truth is, you don't have wife, you are not married too." Beckham said surprisingly,
Tumayo ako.
"Let's talk about it later. Let's go, we have still meeting need to attend." I said and leave first.
If I could only see her again.
~~ At night ~~
"Yow boss," bungad sa'kin ni Tyler.
"Where is he?" I asked,
"Basement," he answered,
Agad naming pinasok ang elevator at tinungo ang basement. Pagkabukas ng elevator agad kaming lumabas at tinungo ang nahuling nagmamasid sa aking teritoryo.
"There he is. I saw him wanted to enter in your village." Tyler said,
Inangat ng lalaki ang kanyang ulo. He laugh when he saw me.
"There you are, Lawson! Balang araw babagsak ka rin. Mamamatay ka rin, makahahanap rin kami ng kahinaan mo. Maghintay ka lang." agsik niyang wika.
I look at him blankly.
"I'll wait for that. But, make it hurry 'cause I might got you first before it happens." I coldly said,
"Boss," ani ni Tyler,
Kinuha ko ang baril na hawak ni Tyler. Kinasa ko ang baril at walang pasabing binaril ko siya sa noo ng dalawang beses.
"Clean this place, and burn him." utos ko,
"Yes, boss." masiglang wika ni Tyler.
"Beckham find me a girl who can pretend to be my wife." I said,
Both Beckham and Tyler look at me with surprised look.
"What? Anong nangyari, boss? Urgent ba? Bakit bigla 'atang naghahanap ka?" sunod-sunod na tanong ni Tyler.
"It's a long story, Tyler." Beckham said,
"Just do what I said." malamig kong wika,
Umalis at iniwan ko na sila.
I don't have a choice but to find a girl who can be my pretend wife in a short time.
That's the only option I have.
