Love You Dear

Love You Dear

Lintang Aksara

Chapter 1 BAD LUCK

I ...
Keep humane
Even though the pain spreads everywhere
Let me be the helpless extra
Are you?
Keep being the main role
Because basically...
This feeling is too foreign
Just to hang out
"Sir! Mr. Sarmidi!”
There were several screams from residents who mentioned Pak Sarmidi's name. They looked very rushed.
"What is this?"
"That, sir... Shinta fell at the village crossroads." A stocky man explained with a ragged breath.
Mr. Sarmidi who heard the news was very surprised. The reason is, a few minutes ago, his son—Shinta—had just come out with a motorbike in a rage. He is annoyed with Mr. Sarmidi because he has not been able to buy him a new cell phone.
"Father brought your sister first, yes, Dear. You just wait at home! I hope your sister's condition isn't too bad," said Mr. Sarmidi to his sister, Shinta.
She is Kirana Anugrah. The village girl who lives simply. Lives in a relatively small house, with wooden walls, and a tiled roof, some of which have holes in them. Most people know him as a quiet and obedient child. Very different from her sister, Shinta Amalia. Even though Shinta is still very young, she is more active and has great potential in anything. Also supported by her very beautiful and sweet face. Unfortunately, he is such a spoiled figure.
Kirana really wants to help Mr. Sarmidi. However, his legs were no longer able to walk. The weight radiated through his bones. At any time he could only sit on a wooden chair whose sides had been gnawed by termites.
Mr. Sarmidi is the only person who has always been Kirana's source of enthusiasm. With the help of a simple bamboo stick, he always trains Kirana to walk again. Every day, every morning, and every time when he is off from his selling activities.
***
The light from the sun is getting stronger. Inside the fairly large building, people in white uniforms were busy pacing in and out of the room. Examine each patient who comes.
"Don't do it again, okay, Dear! Be more careful when riding a motorcycle. So that nothing like this happens again."
"How's this man?! Why did his son get into an accident and get scolded!” Shinta protested with an increasingly annoyed face.
"It's not that you're angry, Dear. Just a reminder, so that in the future you can be more careful," explained Mr. Sarmidi in a low tone.
In addition to his spoiled attitude, Shinta is also easily offended. Especially if someone's opinion contradicts his opinion. Surely her facial expression will automatically change like an attached grandmother, rude and indifferent.
After receiving treatment and medication from the doctor, Mr. Sarmidi and Shinta immediately went home. Fortunately, the motorcycle used by Shinta was not damaged. So, they can use the motorbike to get home quickly.
Along the way, only silence was available. Not because he was holding a moment of silence, but Mr. Sarmidi preferred to remain silent, focusing on driving a motorcycle.
"Still angry with you, Dear?" Suddenly Mr. Sarmidi's voice broke the silence. Shinta who heard the question immediately glanced in the rearview mirror. Although the sound is a bit blurry.
"So if Shinta is still angry, will you buy Shinta a cellphone?"
In such a state, Sita did not change one bit. Jutek attitude is still inherent in him. In fact, it is good that Mr. Sarmidi did not scold him back.
***
It was getting dark. In front of the terrace of a simple house, Kirana looks anxious waiting for the return of her brother and father.
After a few minutes, the roar of Mr. Sarmidi's motorbike was heard in Kirana's ears.
"Are you okay, Shinta? Nothing bad right?” chirped Kirana with a face that was still panicked.
Instead of answering her sister's question, Shinta just walked in, ignoring Kirana's question.
Kirana was stunned for a moment when she saw her sister's cold attitude. In fact, Kirana is really worried about Shinta's condition. Luckily there was Mr. Sarmidi who calmed Kirana's mind.
"Your sister is fine, Dear. But ... yes, that's the attitude, "said Mr. Sarmidi while gently stroking Kirana's head.
Kirana smiled faintly, there was still a pain that pierced her heart.
"Let's go in! It's almost Maghrib," said Mr. Sarmidi, who then led Kirana to enter the house.
Azan Maghrib has resounded throughout the village. Many small children are excited to go to the mosque. Scenes like this are very rare in other areas. Especially in urban areas. Almost none of the children were excited to go to Maghrib prayers and recite the Qur'an. Only three to seven adults fill the first row in prayer.
"Kirana ... Shinta ... You go to the mosque first, yes. We will teach the Koran later," said Mr. Sarmidi from outside Shinta and Kirana's room.
Mr. Sarmidi is a very patient Koran teacher. He has been a Koran teacher in the village since he was not married to Mrs. Yanti.
Kirana and Shinta were not able to join the congregation at the mosque at that time. Besides Kirana's legs, which are still difficult to walk, Shinta's body still hurts from the accident at that time. However, in fact they are both children who have been diligent in going to congregations and reading the Koran since childhood.
***
In front of a mosque with a large yard, several children were chasing each other. Moments like this save their own happiness for children like them.
"Come on kids, we're all in!" Mr. Sarmidi shouted from the porch of the mosque.
The children immediately carried out Mr. Sarmidi's appeal. They are very obedient children. Maybe there are only a few who stand out in terms of mischief. However, it is indeed natural for children their age. The delinquency they do is also only limited to pranking friends or fighting over something.
Mr. Sarmidi immediately started the Koran activities. The chanting of Surah Al-Fatihah has also been heard echoing in the mosque. It's really an atmosphere like this that makes Pak Sarmidi remember his childhood memories.
The recitation activity at the mosque is not just learning to read the Qur'an, but Mr. Sarmidi usually takes the initiative to insert Islamic stories at the end of his meeting. The children were also very happy to see and listen to Mr. Sarmidi's storytelling style. The reason is, I heard that Mr. Sarmidi is indeed very proficient in storytelling activities. This skill passed down to his son, Shinta. When Shinta was only eight years old, she loved to help Mr. Sarmidi tell a fairy tale for the children at his Koran study.
"Where is Shinta, sir? It's been a long time I haven't seen Shinta tell a story again," said one of the Koran students named Firda.
"Shinta is sick, Dear. Pray for a speedy recovery, okay?"
After 45 minutes passed, the Koran activity was finished. The children took turns greeting Mr. Sarmidi. Then, scatter outside the mosque.
To be continued ....
