Chapter 7 Rat, Rat, Go Away

"Aaliyah, you're here, " a staff member called the newly arrived actress.

Actor Terrence immediately saw the woman standing in front of him while talking to the director, so he asked one of the staff.

"Is she the new one I can work with, in the movie, Jes?"

"Yes, you don't know?" he replied.

"Definitely no. That girl is even more modest than a turtle if she moves," the actor bucked.

Terrence doesn't like Aaliyah because when it comes to women, he would find an alibi, so  that his love team would not continue to work with him. But, the woman appeared to him is a famous actress, so she had no more whining about it.

Aaliyah is the daughter of a veteran actor on the JCI TV network. At the age of thirteen, she applied for an audition and took the lead role in the film, "The good daughter." She followed in her father's footsteps to become popular not only in beauty but also in all aspects whether acting or modeling brands.

The assistant heard about Terrence's piece of words to Aaliyah, so instead she was fascinated with the two, she changed her mind about the actor's behavior.

"Mangz, is that really how idol boss speaks?" she asked the gay.

"Yeah, it's always like that but you'll get used to it too, sooner or later."

"Is that so? He has a bad personality in real life then. But, I idolized him for a long time. What a shame on me. Hays."

"That's okay. Get Terrence's clothes ready, they'll start rolling soon."

And the young woman found herself as a slave for her boss. She didn't really know the whole being of her idol.
The whole team had already prepared the materials they will use for the first taping session of the movie, "I won't give up on you". A story of a couple that will be separated only by death.

As soon as the actor read the script of the movie teaser, he was bored with his lines. And it seemed that he didn't like to cooperate with the writer itself.

"You can delete these lines, it doesn't fit in the scene," he told the writer.

"Huh? I think that's important to the scene sir Terrence," the writer answered calmly.

"Is that so? I'll just ask the director if he has a suggestion."

"All right."

And Terrence just went to the side, he just memorized his lines because he had nothing to do but follow what was written in the script.

On the other hand, Aaliyah, the female lead actress, was fully submitted for what she will say in the scene. She became excited with what she had to say in each scene, as she took a break from acting because she was always busy modeling. Most of all, she was happy to know that her long-time crush is her partner in the film.

A few minutes later, they started shooting. Jirah was just staring near the shooting area while eating candy. Later she felt suddenly hungry.

"What's that Jirah? Why is your stomach rumbling? Are you hungry already?" Mangxie asked who was next to her at those times.

"Maybe," he sparingly replied.

"Oh, it's 11:30. Come on, let's go to the tent first, I have food there."

While walking, Jirah asked the friend.

"What time do you have lunch?"

"It depends. Right now, we just finished the last scene of the trailer. You saw, they had a lot of mistakes on that part so it took a while."

Jirah just nodded and when they got to the tent, she was immediately given food by the gay. She only left inside while the gay returned to the shooting scene.

While eating, she noticed something moving in her foot. She looked at it and was shocked to see that it was a large rat.

"Aaaaaaah... Aaaaaaah," she shouted out loud as she jumped up and down to avoid the rat.

She ran out of the tent, but the animal still followed her.

"Shoo... Shoo," she drove the rat away from her, but it was still moving toward her.

Until,  when the rat touched on her for the second time, she ran again until she reached the shooting setting area.

"Aaaaah... Aaaaaah," she shouted again and again as she jumped up and down.

The staff and artists were startled by her loud voice, so they were also alarmed.

"Aaaah ... Aaaah," shouted Aaliyah who was very scared as she jumped somewhere.

The actress almost cried at the confusion she felt when she saw the rat. And when Jirah noticed that the rat was gone, and she saw the reaction of the people around her, she then stopped leaping while turning her head to the actor's standing.

The actor's eyes glazed over at his assistant as his brain signaled to the make-up artist. Eventually, their director spoke up.

"Whose pet is this? It brings too much trouble here. Take it."

No one reacted to what he said so he followed up with a sentence.

"Nobody would claim her? All right, call a bodyguard. It's a mess during the taping session," command of the director to one of his staff.

Jirah was ashamed of what she did, the worst was that she broke the last take of Terrence's movie trailer. That's why she reacted to them.

"I'm sorry. I just passed by and then I saw a rat, he followed me so I came here. I'm really sorry. I won't do it again," she pleaded with all persons present.

"It really won't happen again. You see, I'm almost going to die of fear," Aaliyah replied.

"I'm really sorry," she said to the actress with a streak of pleading.

"All right, take that off so we can finish," the director ordered.

Terrence again motioned for Mangxie to pick up the girl in the middle of the setting.

The gay act immediately, then she grabbed the woman standing in the middle of them. He brought it to the back of the tent and spoke seriously.

"Jirah, what did you do there? You just embarrassed yourself and your boss."

"Boss idol didn't admit me as her assistant then so—." she moaned.

"Even though he didn't tell everybody about his connections with you, you must still be careful on your move!"

"I'm sorry, next time I'll just kill the rat when I see it so I don't run that far!" the angry maiden responded.

"Jirah—"

The girl stepped back and finally left Mangxie alone. Even though she was called a friend a few times, she still didn't listen. For her, it is better to leave than to argue.
The next day, Jirah's alarm clock rang. It was already 6:30 in the morning, it would have been time to fix herself because her duty is still early. But, instead of getting up, she turned off the alarm clock and went back to sleep.

Thirty minutes later, she heard her mother's call outside her room.

"Dear, wake up. Your friends have picked you up."

She can't believe that she's worthy of him, because she even managed to get picked up by the actor. She thought for a little while that she had to work for her family's needs, so she changed her mind and fixed herself quickly.
