"Autumn, here!" Clea waved her hand at me so I automatically smiled.
I make my way to them while thinking what just happened earlier. It seems like they were confused at the two of us.

Wala ako sa sarili habang kumakain. While the two in front of me is having fun, I am here, can't even focus to eat!
Pinaglalaruan ko na ang pagkain ko gamit ang tinidor nang bigla na lang akong sipain ni Clea sa ilalim ng lamesa. Tiningnan ko siya ng masama at sisinghalan na sana nang may nginuso siya sa bandang likod ko kung saan ang entrance ng restaurant.
As I turned my head on that direction, my heart begins to leap when I saw five familiar faces that I just seen earlier. They went inside the place as if it was theirs. They we're domineering the whole place.
Some people turned their heads on them. They were as if the kings who wanted the attention. The whole place went silent. I felt like the clock stops tickling for a moment when our eyes locked.
Agaran ang pag-iwas ko ng tingin na para bang nakakatakot ang mga mata niya. Para akong mahihimatay sa lakas ng tibok ng puso ko.
Hindi ko na pinansin ang mga tingin ni Clea sa akin. Pinagpatuloy ko ang pagkain kahit nawalan na ako ng gana. Sa pagkalabit sa akin ni Clea ay muntikan na akong mabulunan sa iniinom kong tubig.
"Red was staring at you all this time. Anong meron sa inyong dalawa, ha?" She whispered as she lean on me closer. May pang-aakusa akong nakikita sa kulay brown niyang mga mata.
Agad na namilog ang kulay abo kong mga mata at agad na nabulunan dahil sa sinabi niya. Umubo ako ng umubo habang kinakapa ang mabilis na tibok ng puso ko. Para akong na heart attack sa sinabi niya.
Inabot sa akin ni Clea ang tubig at agaran ang pag-inom ko noon. Nang mahimasmasan ay tiningnan ko siya ng masama habang pinapaypayan ang sarili gamit ang kamay.
I cleared my throat as I wiped my mouth with a tissue. Wala sa sarili akong napahinga ng malalim at sinulyapan si Red. Naabutan ko siyang nakatingin sa cellphone niya habang nakapanghalumbaba ng upo. Magkasalubong ang dalawang makapal na kilay na para bang may hindi siya magandang nakita.
Napaiwas ako ng tingin nang umubo kunyari si Clea. She started to tease me about Red. Para na 'raw' akong matutunaw sa titig niya sa akin kanina. Hind ko alam kung totoo ba o gawa-gawa niya lang 'yung mga pinagsasasabi niya.
"May papatol din pala sayong lalake, 'no? Akala ko, tatanda ka talagang dalaga." she echoed with a hint of sarcasm in her tone.
I threw her a dagger look. Hindi niya iyon pinansin at nginisihan lang ako.
"Shut up." I said through gritted teeth.
She ignored my remark. She even acted like she was wiping her tears.
"Magkakaboyfriend ka na, Autumn. I'm so happy and proud of you."
Napailing na lang ako sa kabaliwan niya. Wala na siyang pag-asa.
"Zach..." sinulyapan ko ang lalake.
Agad na umayos ng upo si Clea at tiningnan ako ng masama. As her brows furrowed, I noticed that her brows are like a coffee, brown, same with her eyes and hair. Her full lips is made perfectly on her heart shaped face.
I smirked, "wanna know a secret?"
At dahil maliit lang ang lamesa namin ay madali akong nahuli ni Clea. Hinampas niya ako at muntik niya pang hilahin ang buhok ko kung hindi ko lang siya napigilan.
I laughed like a crazy woman while she panicked. Tinakpan niya ang bibig ko kaya ang mga hindi maintindihang salita na lang ang maririnig. My voice was muffled because of her hand on my mouth.
"Subukan mo lang..."
Nang natapos kaming kumain ay nagpaalam na ako sa kanila. I wanted to visit my office so I did. And we will also meet later in the evening to go to the bar.
I stepped inside the elevator with my serious face when it finally opened. Some strands of hair fell on my face so I fixed it and tucked behind my ears.
I tapped my foot while patiently waiting for the elevator to stop. And when the elevator stopped, I shifted on my weight as I walked outside the elevator.
Tommorow is my first day as a President of the Resort so I kinda like the idea to visit my office here.
I opened the door of my office and my eyes widened a fraction and my jaw hang open at the sight of my modernized office. As I stepped my feet inside, my heart jump in pure excitement. I can literally hear my fast heartbeat.
The Engineer was really so good in making this. It was perfect for me. The office was spacious. I was expecting it to be small, but it turned out to be this big. But it's actually beautiful.
The light above illuminated the whole room so the room was bright. The clear marble floor shined because of that. I can hear my foot clicking on the floor as I walked.
It has a large glass window that can picture the view of the whole resort. Hinipan ng pang-hapong hangin ang malaking kulay abong kurtina sa gilid nito. Some ancient paintings were hanged beautifully on the wall. Furnitures and figurines were on the right places.
On the center was placed the study table and chair. The table was made of hard wood so as the chair. It has also a white and gray fur rug under it. The pink sofa was placed on the far right. In front of it is a big TV.
I slowly went to the glass wall to see the view from here. And I wasn't disappointed.
The view was so majestically glamorous. Like it was made by the heaven perfectly. With a color green, blue, and white mixed together, it was as if the world was made smoothly. Like it was planned properly.
Green from the trees, plants, and bushes, blue from the pristine and clear water from the unending sea, and white from the stretch of sand in the bay. The view was so amazing that I think my eyes sparkled in amazement.
Pagkatapos kong tingnan ang kabuoan ng office ay agad akong umalis doon. The warm and fresh wind touched my white smooth skin. I was wearing a big straw hat and purple aviators to protect my face from the hot sunlight.
I stand there with my arms crossed while patiently waiting for a golf cart. My prayer come true when a golf cart stopped in front of me, with a one passenger sitting on the back.
The man on her mid-twenties was wearing a white statement shirt and a black board short. With him wearing a black tinted shades, he looked like a hot foreigner.
Natagalan ang titig ko sa kaniya kaya kinailangan ko pang pilitin ang sarili na umiwas ng tingin. I cleared my throat and slowly slid myself inside the golf cart.
Muntik ko pang sampalin ang sarili dahil natalisod ako dahil sa katangahan ko! I was drooling over his familiar face that I didn't know I will actually tripped! Napakatanga nga naman!
Mabuti na lang at nahawakan ako ng lalake sa braso, napigilan ang pagdausdos ko sa lupa. Ang hawak niya sa akin ay nagbigay ng kakaibang pakiramdam sa katawan ko.
I was like hit by a lightning. My heart leap instantly. At dahil nakasuot ako ng sleeveless na damit ay lantad ang mga braso ko. Agad ang pag-alis niya ng kamay sa braso ko na para bang napaso siya.
Namilog ang mga mata ko at agaran ang pag-ayos ng tayo. Tumikhim ako para masalba sa kahihiyan at umupo sa tabi niya.
Gosh. I didn't know that this would be so embarrassing.
Ipinikit ko ng mariin ang mga mata sa sobrang kahihiyan. Iniisip ko pa lang ulit ang nangyari, umiinit na ang pisngi ko.
I feel like they were an invisible ice wall between us. Pareho kaming tahimik kahit na umaandar na ang golf cart. I feel like the sun can't even touch or melt the invisible ice wall.
But when he talked, he totally melt and break it.
"Are you somehow..." he didn't finish his word yet.
Binigay ko lahat ng atensiyon sa kaniya. I was so attentive to his question yet I was not able to answer it properly. I feel like my tounge was cut off. My brain stopped functioning.
