White's POV
I was combing my hair while staring at my reflection on the mirror. My wavy blue hair are in a ponytail, my heart shaped face, almond set of eyes with sapphire colored irises, arched brows and plump lips.
This isn't what I look like before I became a Vessel and I will surely miss my jet black straight hair.
My thoughts ended when I heard a knock, "Third Mistress, This is Blood. Narito ako upang sunduin ka, kailangan mo na po mag-agahan."
Inilagay ko ang hawak na suklay sa harap ng salamin at lumapit sa pinto upang pagbuksan si Blood. Bumungad sa akin ang nakangiti niyang mukha at umayos rin siya ng tayo nang makita niya ako.
"Should we go my lady?" I nodded in response. She lead the way to the dining room and I followed her.
Pagpasok sa dining room ay bumungad sa akin ang napakahabang lamesa at konti palang ang mga taong naka-upo roon. The two mistresses and a few of Black's brothers. Umupo ako sa tabi ni second at kaharap ko sa kabilang panig ng mahabang mesang ito si Pride na mukhang malalim ang iniisip.
Naramdaman ata niya na may nakatingin kaya't tumingin siya sa kanyang paligid at nagtama ang aming mga mata. He smirk but I immediately averted my gaze away from him. My gaze went to the door when it sprung open and Sloth entered with his silver hair in a mess together with his dull gray eyes and his famous bored look. Sloth immediately went to the vacant seat beside pride. Our eyes met when he was already seated.
"okay ka na?" Salita ni Sloth na umagaw ng atensyon ng lahat. They all stared at me and wait for my reply.
I felt my sweat run down from my forehead. Why are they're all staring at me? It was just a simple question but why are they acting like this?
"I am fine Sloth. Thanks for your concern." I forced a smile as I still felt their stares.
"That's good to hear. By the way, Thanks for saving me last time." Sloth said with a smile that earned a gasped from everyone.
"No need to thank me, I just did my part as one of the mistresses." I replied.
"May kinain ba siyang kakaiba kaya ang haba niyang magsalita?" I saw Pride whispered to the guy seated beside him who happens to be Greed. Obviously, he talks about Sloth.
"Aba'y ewan ko! baka epekto lang 'yan ng away nila ni Black o baka kasi alam mo na..."Greed smirk then he finished his statement that earned a glare from sloth, "......INIWANAN." Greed gave emphasis on his last word and laughed hard.
Sloth smirk, "At least, Hindi ako 'yong tipong magnanakaw na lamang ng halik para makahalik lang."
"Burn!"
At napuno nang aming mga halakhak ang buong mesa. This was also the first time that I saw Sloth smiled genuinely.
Ang tawanan naming iyon ay naputol noong may narinig kaming boses.
"Will the servants bring the food already? I'm hungry!" maktol ni gluttony. His statement earned a glare from each of his brothers.
"Palagi ka namang gutom Gluttony." A guy with a dull gray eyes and ash gray colored hair commented. If I'm not mistaken, He is Envy.
"Calm down Gluttony. Let's wait for the king." Another guy spoke. His protruding gray eyes met my sapphire colored eyes and I was surprise to see him grinned at me. If I remembered correctly, He is Wrath.
Why was these brothers looking at me with amusement? Did I do something to amuse them?
Naagaw ang aking atensyon sa biglaang pagbukas ng pintuan at pumasok si Black. Lumakad siya hanggang makarating sa tabi ni First at doon siya naupo.
"The king won't be with us for now. He left early in the morning for an important matter, Kaya tayo lamang ang narito ngayon kasama ang mga panauhin mula sa ibang kaharian." Black stated as soon as he was seated.
Pagkatapos sabihin iyon ni Black ay sunod-sunod na bumukas ang pinto ng dining room at magkakasunod rin na pumasok ang mga sinasabi niyang panauhin. Nakita ko pa si prinsesa Mahuya na pumasok at na-upo sa aking tabi.
"O? Glad to see you again. By the way, good morning." pambungad niya sa akin.
"Good morning, So do I." we both smiled at each other but immediately averted our gaze when we saw the servants placed the dishes on the table.
We started our breakfast and it ended peacefully. After the breakfast, the guest stayed for more hours waiting for their carriages to arrive so they spent their remaining hours in the Central kingdom. To be specific they spent their time on the palace libraries and training grounds. Subalit wala ata sa dalawang lugar na iyon ang interes nitong si prinsesa Mahuya.
Her blonde hair was in a braid as she walks toward me. His royal blue dress was swaying with the whirling wind. She stopped when she was already beside me.
"Pwedeng maupo dito?" aniya at tumango naman ako.
Na-upo siya sa aking tabi at sabay naming tinignan ang mga magagandang bulaklak dito sa hardin. Nakasandal kami sa puno na lagi kong sinasandalan.
"Alam mo na ba ang desisyon ng council tungkol kay Black?" panimula niya.
"Hindi ko pa alam at wala namang may ibinabanggit ang mga kasama ko."
I was unconscious for four days after their battle so I didn't knew what happened after I passed out. Neither life nor blood wouldn't even tell me.
Narinig ko siyang bumuntong hininga, "I don't know if I should be telling you this but....Black must break his curse in order to be a worthy king of outcast."
Breaking his curse won't be easy. We can't find someone who will he love and love him back! as far as I can remember, that is the key for breaking the curse.
"That's difficult." I commented.
"Truly difficult." she agreed.
Sabay kaming napabuntong hininga at sabay rin kaming napatingin sa isa't-isa at napatawa. Napakagaan niyang kasama and I'm comfortable to be with her. Inilaan namin ang natitira niyang oras bago sila umalis sa isang mahabang kwentuhan. We talked about our lives and we get to know more about each other.
Gusto ko pa sana siyang maka-usap nang matagal ngunit napakabilis ng oras at ngayon nga ay aalis na sila.
"Hey, I'm gonna miss you Third." aniya habang naka-upo na sa loob nang kanilang karwahe.
"So do I." I smiled genuinely.
We bade our goodbye's and their carriage started to move. Tinanaw ko ang papalayong pigura nang kaniyang sinasakyang karwahe. Nang mawala na ito sa aking paningin ay lumakad na ako papasok sa palasyo ngunit ako'y natigilan nang humarang sa aking harapan si First.
Tinaasan ko siya ng kilay ngunit nagtaka ako dahil hindi na kagaya ng dati na bigla nalang siyang manghahamon, ngayon ay mukha siyang kalmado.
"What do you want to say First?" I asked.
bumuntong hininga siya at tinignan ako nang seryoso, "I need to talk to you in private. Just the two of us." Sabay tingin nito sa kasama kong si Blood. I gestured Blood to leave us alone and she excused herself as she left.
"I overheard Black and Greed while talking in the Library the other day. Black said that he need a certain book in order to fully break the curse. The thing we believed about the curse was wrong! Akala ko'y masisira na ang sumpa kapag nagmahal muli si Black at mahalin siya pabalik ngunit pansamantalang mapapahina lamang pala nito ang epekto ng sumpa kay Black ngunit hindi nito tuluyang masisira ang sumpa sa kanilang angkan. Only the black book has the answer on how the curse will be broken." mahaba niyang paliwanag.
"Why are you telling me this?" kunot noo akong nagtanong.
To my shock, her eyes started to welled up in tears as she held both of my hands, "We need your help. He needs your help. That book was not in outcast, it was on the other side and only you can get it for him."
The black curse will slowly take the bearer's soul and sanity. That's why they have to get rid of it.
But does she mean, the other side was....The holy continent?! The place where I ran away from!?
