Chapter 6 The Ruin

I was standing at the top of a tower looking down, and I gasped. To my surprise, I saw a bunch of fire eating the industry, bombs are exploding around, helicopters are flying like it has lost its speed, some have fallen down, the others are turning like crazy. What is happening? I could feel my heart beating so loud but I can also hear people screaming in fear… screaming for help.
I wanted to go down to help, but I don’t know how, I don’t even know how I got on the top of this tower. I was so afraid of the people’s safety. But suddenly I got confused when even from a far distance I could see people fighting each other and I don’t know for what reason, the world is in chaos… the world is slowly in ruin… people… are dying.
I gasped as I opened my eyes, that was a very bad dream. I looked around the plane and to my surprise again… there was no one here. No one but me. I stood up from my seat and walked, I didn't even know where I was heading until… I saw someone… It was a guy but he was facing the window that is why I could not see his face.
To my curiosity I walked closer to him, and saw what he was looking at, fear covered me when I saw what was under… down to the ground… there was nothing, magma was flowing on the ground… no houses, no trees… nothing but soil and flowing magma.
I immediately sat up gasping for air, I felt like I lost oxygen.
“Sweetie, are you okay?” I suddenly looked to my side to see my father looking at me with worry, I looked in front to find mom waiting for me to speak.
I took a deep breath as I shook my head, “I had a nightmare.” I said.
Their forehead furrowed “How bad it is?” Dad asked in a serious voice, he knew that every dream I had always come true.
“Very bad.” I said as my voice sounded like a whisper.
“When?” Mom suddenly asked.
“I don’t know mom, it is not now that is what I’m sure… but it is coming.” I said.
“What if… we’ll just go back home? You can still back out.” Mom tried to convince me with worry in her face.
“No mom, I want to know something and I think… Geniuses Academy could answer it.” I stated, now fully determined to study at the Geniuses Academy, it seems like it can answer my dreams.
They nodded in understanding. “If that is what you want, then… we’ll go.” Dad stated.
I may not know what life awaits me but my instinct is pushing me towards the Geniuses Academy. There was something on my system and I don’t know what it was.
When we got out of the airport someone was already waiting for us, holding a paper with our surname on it. And as we get closer,
"Are you the Tarre Family invited by Mr. Malaya?"
The guy in a black suit asked.
"Yes." My father answered.
The man suddenly looked at me "So, I'm guessing you're
Kelly Tarre. Am I right?" He asked again with a smile on his face.
"Yes, I am!" I smiled cheerfully.
"Oh good! Mr. Malaya is already waiting for you at his
office. Please Ma'am, Sir." He motioned us to get inside the car and we
obeyed.
The car stopped in front of a two-storey building with a
blue glass wall. When we entered the building, I was amazed by the beauty
inside.
"Mr. and Mrs. Tarre, my boss is waiting for you inside
and," the man looked at me with a smile "Kelly, can you stay here for
a while?" He asked, pointing at the couches in the distance which is the
waiting area.
"Of course!" I answered, smiling back.
"Thank you, you're a jolly kid." He stated
smiling.
"You too sir, I just gave back the favor."
He smiled and looked at my parents.
"Shall we ma'am, sir?" He said, signaling my
parents to follow him towards the office.
I walked right to the waiting area and sat on one of the
couches.
After a while, O-M-Gosh! A handsome guy is walking towards
me! But wait... when he came closer, I recognized his face.
"Oh, my Ghash! It's you!" I exclaimed with
surprise to the guy who's smiling in front of me.
He was wearing a simple blue shirt and pants. How did he
get here?
"Yes, it's me!" He stated the obvious while
taking a seat beside me.
I laughed "What a small world. How are you?" I
asked.
"I'm fine, I guess. Thanks to you!" He cheered.
"Oh, don't mind it."
His forehead furrowed. "What do you mean don't mind
it? You saved me, ok. I owe you my life."
He was the guy I saved 2 months ago from an accident that
possibly had occurred.
Two months ago I saw his wallet fall onto the ground and as
a good citizen, of course, I picked it up so I could bring it back to him but
the moment I touched it... a vision popped into my head.
~I saw him crossing the road but he stopped in the middle
realizing he lost his wallet not knowing that a running car was going in the
direction that hit him to his death. ~
So, I immediately rushed towards the man and when I saw him
crossing the road... I ran fast and held his hand dragging him back with me, so
the car passed successfully without causing damage. And then, he thanked me.
THE END.
"Your thanks are more than enough." I smiled
widely at him.
"Well, the truth was, I recommended you to be invited
to the Geniuses Academy." He said scratching the back of his neck.
"So, it was you all along! I've been curious why they
sent me an email... wait, are you working for the ECO!?" I asked, so
shocked.
