I put the tray of food in a corner and followed them. The moment I got inside the building, the emergency alarm started ringing but curiosity filled me when the water did not come out of the emergency shower.
Strange... Did it malfunction?
I can see students panicking while the others run out of the building and it looks like there is an event from the designs displayed the moment I got inside.
I ran towards the Laboratory to see Stella waving her hands without gloves that created a big amount of water floating in a flat circular shape above the fire and let it fall, which made the fire stop. While Elena dances her hands in the air and I can see smoke going in one specific area... suddenly, it disappears from the flick of her hands.
What a scene!
"Woah! That was so cool!" A guy suddenly comes out in one corner of this laboratory. The guy with eyeglasses... Josh Walter. Suddenly, he looked around but stopped the moment his eyes landed on Elena and his face immediately turned worried.
"Elena? Why are you here?" He walked closer towards Elena and scanned her body and then breathed out the moment he saw no injury. Okaayyy...
"I'm fine Josh." Elena stated and started walking out of this laboratory but before she got out of the door...
"Hey! Is everything alright?" The playboy... Kenneth Marquez popped on the door. Looking around the room to see it all wet. "What happened?" He asked Elena but his eyes held worry.
"We saw this laboratory on fire so we ran and Stella stopped it." She said pointing towards Stella.
"Stella..." He looked to where Elena was pointing and then from worry his eyes sparkled and his lips turned into a smirk. "Ow! It's you!" He beamed pointing at her.
Stella rolled her eyes and folded her arms on her chest "tch."
Kenneth walked closer towards her "How did you stop the fire? Did you sing to stop the fire?" He teased Stella. Sing??
"Agh! None of your business!" She stomped her foot and walked out but before she got out of the door another guy popped up, the guy in red hair, John Roberts.
From here I can see Josh staring at Elena with... longings? Okay, I think there's something up with them.
"Is the fire already stopped?" John asked.
"No dude, actually it is still on fire you just couldn't see it." Another guy came in which made me immediately turn my back... James Wilson. Why are these guys just popping from somewhere!?
"Tch." John snorted.
Some smiled while others chuckled.
"How did the fire stop?" John suddenly asked with curiosity.
"That girl on your side did it. I don't know how, maybe she sang a song and it disappeared." Kenneth let out a small laugh.
"Will you stop it!?" Stella exclaimed in anger.
"Or what? What can you do?" He tested.
Stella walked towards him smiling sweetly. I looked at her hands, she's not wearing her gloves... Oh ow. When she got in front of Kenneth who's wearing a playful grin "This."
Kenneth suddenly looked at his feet "Oh shit!"
"What the fuck!" "Crap!" I heard the others also cursed. She covered his feet in ice.
I can see Stella smirking in success while Elena laughed.
"Dude! You just found your quest." John said grinning.
"Well, what do we have here?" James asked, walking towards me.
Agh, shit! Why of all people!?
I slowly turned towards him scratching my neck.
"It's you!" He exclaimed happily the moment he saw me. "I see, you belong from the genius course."
"Do you know her James?" Josh asked.
"No, I just saw her from before." He answered. "What's your name miss?"
"Ahm, Kelly." I answered shyly.
"Oh, Kelly. Nice meeting you, I'm James." He said, extending his hand.
Nodding, I took it. But then, a vision popped into my head.
~"I saw them, they're doing something unpleasant, if it continues... Students will be in danger." James stated to the tall guy who's standing in front of the window, I could only see his back.
The guy slowly turned~
"Hey, are you okay?" James asked. Oh shit! I spaced out.
"Yeah, I'm fine." I smiled in reassurance.
I decided to walk around the room until my eyes caught a broken shellane gas under the burned table. It must have exploded which made the fire bigger... so I held a piece of it.
"How did you get here?" I heard Josh asked Elena in confusion.
Elena played with the strands of her hair. "Ahm, we planned to have our lunch at the Wheels Garden and on the way, we saw this Laboratory on fire so we ran towards here." She stated, tensed.
"Next time, don't come near any dangerous places." Kenneth stated partly mad.
"We have no choice, I wanted to help and so I did knowing that I could." She said frustration is evident in her voice and then she walked out followed by Josh.
Stella also walked out after rolling her eyes at Kenneth. Owww Kayy...
"So Kel-" James stopped the moment he saw me already at the door walking out of the Laboratory room. I sensed the others followed.
"Hey! Don't leave me here!" Walking in the hallway I heard Kenneth shouted from the Laboratory.
"It was your fault, you burned the Laboratory. You tried burning the building!" We all stopped the moment we got near the entrance of the building where some students gathered and in the middle are two girls, one is blaming the other.
I sensed the other boys behind me also stopped on their track.
"I-It wasn't me. I did not do anything." The girl wearing red gloves stated in fear sitting on the ground, her necktie is white. Another one from a Special Course.
"I saw you running away from the Laboratory! Don't you dare deny it. You tried burning the whole building!" The curly blonde girl yelled at her in anger. Her necktie is blue, I see... from Fighter Course.
"No, I didn't do it. I didn't." She's shivering in fear as she continuously shakes her head.
I can't hold it much longer... I hope it will work. I walked closer towards them.
"It wasn't her." I stated.
They all suddenly looked at me "Tch. Don't you dare try to cover her up or... you must be her company." The Curly blonde girl said, folding her arms on her chest, testing me.
"Any pictures of her burning the Laboratory?" I asked, ignoring her words.
"No, but I see it with my own eyes." She said but I could sense her being tense. I smirked.
"If I prove that she did not burn the Laboratory, are you willing to surrender yourself from telling such lies and be imprisoned in a case of Slander? Your recorded voice is just perfect evidence." I smiled sweetly looking at my phone.
She gulped, so I asked her once again "Answer me, are you willing?"
"But her power is fire! She can do it, so she made it!" She defended.
"What's happening here?" A cold manly voice boomed around the area that made my heartbeat hammered rapidly against my chest and sent shivers down my spine.
