ARLENE MARIELLA's POV
"Let's go out," Riana whispered to me.
Why is she whispering?
"All right, where?" I asked back.
"Let's go to the mall tomorrow."
"But.."
"No buts, Arlene." She glared at me.
"Alright—" I sighed, forcefully.
We are like fools whispering.
"Why are you whispering there?" Blair suddenly jumped to her side. She almost jumped.
"Just a trip." She giggled.
I looked at my cell phone as it vibrated. I immediately opened it and a Friend Request from Facebook popped up for me. 'Sterian Rhodge sent you a friend request.' What a weird fucking name he has. I clicked his name and viewed his profile. My phone almost fell when I saw who it was. He is the man who saved me from those perverts.
I clicked his cover photo and my mouth formed into a perfect 'O' because of what I saw. It was .. S-Stewart, Auntie Fina, and Uncle Jonas. They look so happy, Stewart seems so young at that time though, the same with 'Sterian'. Fuck! I didn't even think that Stewart was his brother. Why didn't I get to know his name?
That's what Stewart looks like. Why didn't I immediately think it was him? Then we met in the village! I'm really stupid, I'm still really stupid to even think at a time like that.
"What happened to you? Shocked? What's that?" Riana would have peeked at my cellphone but I immediately avoided her. "Hey! Look at that!" She stood up and tried to snatch the cellphone from me.
"What the heck, it's just nothing." I tried to avoid my cellphone but I was having a hard time because she was holding me in her arms.
"You're hiding something from me!" I got up immediately so she wouldn't get the cell phone from me.
It's like we're stupid arguing here, oh God.
"You're weird, she said it doesn't exist." The two of us were so busy and I backed away, I wasn't surprised when my back hit the table. "Ouch!”
"What the fuck are you guys doing?" a man's voice stopped Riana. We quickly fixed up, my eyes widened to see who's table I was behind!
I only know Stewart.
To my shock, I let go of the cell phone. I couldn't move right away so Stewart picked it up first. I looked at him selflessly.
He frowned as he read what was written there. "Sterian Rhodge- why is she fucking stalking my brother?" I read his lips moving. He just sighed and showed me the cellphone. "Here— wait! You look... familiar, Miss, I think.. have we already met somewhere?"
I was suddenly nervous, my hand remained in the air, and stared at him. "We don't." I took it, before turning my back on them and walking back to our seats.
"He's badly handsome," Riana whispered, I don't know if I'm the one talking to her or herself. It's getting more frequent, there's something right in the brain. I just stared at everyone there before taking my belongings from our place and walking out of the Cafeteria.
Laughter and whispers are what I hear from others, I even hear my name every time someone mentions it. Unknown to me, I passed them and went straight up to the rooftop of the school. I need to be able to think now because this is a strange man. Instead of going to another school, I thought of. I don't want to see him anymore, then here he is suddenly appearing!
When I got to the top I rocked my bag on the floor. This is another Sterian Rhodge, who also appeared in my life. How can I forget that, if every day I can see his very ugly face?
Very handsome, indeed.
Oh shit! What's that? Who is that? It's like I heard someone speak. I stood up even though I was nervous, I took the cellphone out of my bag and put it in my pocket for an emergency.
"Hmm." That woman's voice!
I slowly walked to the side of the fire exit door.
"Babe..." the woman growled. I glanced at them a little, my eyes widening as I saw the man kissing the woman's neck down to her chest. I immediately covered my chest and ran back to where my bag was. I hurried downstairs, gasping for breath as I reached the 5th Floor.
Those people, they have chosen to take shelter here. If I was just a bomber, I would have stopped them earlier but nothing, I'm kind so I just let them go. What a waste of that moment, if I destroy it.
I am a demon.
I took my hydro flask out of the bag, I opened it as if in a hurry. I immediately drank there like a dog. Who would have not to pant in that situation? You run down the 7th floor to the 5th floor. I still get tired quickly.
I rested there for a few minutes before thinking of entering our room because the class was still closed. I just did a normal walk
"What happened? Is there too much wind outside so your hair is like that or you just didn't comb it?" Riana asked when I entered the room, she even peeked outside! I ignored her, I just went straight until I sat down.
"Hey, you're a snob!" she poked me.
"Ey—"
"What?!" my voice rose so I just averted my eyes. I didn't mean that, but I hope she's not too hurt because this woman is a soft person.
"I'll just say that we can stay together later, don't you want to? All right Blair-"
"No, I'll come." I was quick because I felt she stood up and was about to approach Blair.
"Are you sure? You look like you're in a bad mood, it's just Blair."
"When I say, I'll come, I'll come. Okay? Now, sit down there and don't mind my mood." she just nodded, sat down properly when our professor came.
I feel like she's sulking or something? After the professor then she didn't speak again, she just took her notebook and read. Still upside down! It's crazy, it's still acting wrong.
"Inverted," I whispered, I put her notebook in the right order and rearranged the seat.
I just took my book and quietly read it while waiting for the professor to arrive.
