A dark night. When everyone was starting to enjoy their time after a full day of work. Right in an apartment, a man who was busy sending a message to someone was suddenly surprised when one of his family members came in. That person was none other than his own grandfather. Slowly entering the room, the old man saw what his grandson was doing. Although he didn't really care about it, a sense of curiosity crossed his mind. His grandson, who still looked very busy, only looked at the old man for a moment. The chiming wall clock indicated that it was already midnight. The grandfather immediately left the room. But before he closed the door, the grandfather said something to his grandson who was sitting right at his desk. “You better not dive too deep,” said the old man as he closed the door. "What does that mean?" The man continued his work. Although he was still a little distracted by what his grandfather had just said, he continued his work. The documents in front of his desk slowly began to dwindle. He had previously finished signing all the documents piled up before his eyes, but now they were starting to dwindle. The clock that had indeed struck midnight didn't stop him from completing the work he had brought from work. A few hours ago, he had also frequently contacted several people to discuss his work. For almost three years, he had been pursuing this job. The words that made him continue to wonder were what his grandfather had said. For almost a while, the old man had always said the same thing and it kept him thinking. Before he knew it, he had finished everything. Now he started to get up from his seat and tried to leave the room. After leaving the room and walking towards the living room, his grandfather was still there, enjoying a cup of coffee accompanied by his favorite television show. "Grandpa?" "Can?" "What do you mean? Why are you suddenly saying the same thing, and I don't understand it at all," he said, sitting on the sofa in the living room. “Do you really not understand?” “Right. That's why I asked Grandpa. What's wrong with what I did? Is it about my job?” “You just need to do your job properly. That's all I have to say.” “What? That’s not what you said.” “Listen. If you truly value your life, don’t get involved in anything dangerous. Your job may seem ordinary. But are you sure you don’t realize? You’ve already started diving deep. I have only one thing to say. Don’t go too far, just stay on the surface. Do you understand what I mean now?” said the old man as he took a sip of coffee. “Yes. I’m starting to understand now. Still, it’s my choice,” he said as he got up and headed to his room. His grandfather's statement suddenly reminded him of something. He had previously tried to forget it, but now his memories began to resurface. His breathing felt heavy, and even his head suddenly felt dizzy. For a while, he had ignored it. However, what he was feeling now was slowly reopening old wounds. His face began to pale, and he tried to remain calm. “Damn. Why?” Meanwhile, right now at Yuri Desmond's residence. He was still shocked by what had just been told to him. Without further ado, Yuri immediately rushed to a location. He was currently in his car, and was driving towards the place. The journey that almost took a while, made him feel even more stressed. Someone had just called him, telling him bad news that made him have to save him. His face that looked depressed, he drove his car at full speed. Arriving at the location, the dark atmosphere did not make him feel afraid and immediately broke down a door that was right in front of the building. As soon as he arrived inside, Yuri immediately saw a man covered in wounds. Quickly, he immediately approached the man who was none other than one of the members of his group of coworkers. Seeing him covered in wounds, his eyes immediately felt extraordinary anger. Not long after, Yuri immediately took him to the hospital and entrusted him to them for treatment. A few minutes later, his cell phone rang and it turned out to be the person who called him. Quickly, Yuri answered the call. “How? Have you found it?” he said quite loudly. “Yes. I found him. He's in the hospital now. Did you find the others?” “Not yet. Suddenly, the phone can't be tracked. This is going to be a bit of a hassle.” “Have you told the others? What did they say?” "It seems they deliberately dumped everything on you. Since I contacted you, it wasn't their job." “I knew it. What happened? How could it be like this?” "Honestly, I don't know the full details of what happened. Simply put, it was just a simple assault." “It's just a bother.” "Good luck." Somewhere in the city, the man who had just contacted Yuri was none other than one of her colleagues, Gillian. He was a hacker who constantly monitored her every movement. He was currently in his room, dark with only the light from his monitor providing illumination. His constant gaze fixed on the monitor gave him insight into many aspects of the underworld. “Gosh, this is so confusing,” he said as he continued to tap away at his computer keyboard and try to find as much information as possible. The next day, Yuri was at the hospital, on his way to see his colleague. The doctor had already informed him that the man had been moved to the ward and was conscious. Upon entering the ward, the man immediately glanced at Yuri, who had come to visit him. Shortly after, Yuri immediately began asking him questions. “What happened? Were you attacked by them?” “Yes. After the transaction was completed, that night they came to kill me.” “Do you know what happened after that?” "Impossible. Weren't you the one who came and brought me here? Before they lost consciousness, they were talking about something, but it wasn't clear. By the way, have you reported all this to the boss?" “No. Not yet. I think this has something to do with it.” "What do you mean?" “If Gilian hadn’t been monitoring your movements, I don’t think I would have found you.” "It turns out that person is still playing around." “Actually, there are a lot of things I want to say.” "What?" “You have done a good job.” "Only that?" “Yeah. See you,” Yuri said, waving and leaving the room. Yuri closed the door to the room and walked down the hospital corridor. ‘This is getting interesting,’ Yuri thought with a smirk.
