“Mom, where’s dad? I miss him.” I said and looked around.
“His at the office but we can go to him If you want.” mom’s replied and hold my hands.
“Sure mom.” I replied and smile at here.
While mom was driving ahead to the company I talk to her about what I experienced this past years and also about my friends.
“So you meet new friends huh?” my mom asked while driving.
“Yes mom‚ the girl that I told you a while ago‚ Ella was so nice to me she also bring me to her province also introduce me in het family.” I said “They welcome me so warmly also her friends there are so kind.” I added.
“You really enjoyed you’re vacation there‚ huh?” mom asked.
“Yes mom.” I replied “One thing mom I also wanted you to meet Rhyme and Ella on another day I didn’t tell about Ella this yet but I know she’s lookin’ forward to meet you and dad tho.” I added.
“Good to know. I’m also lookin’ forward to It.” she replied “Btw who’s this Rhyme? Is he you’re boyfriend?” mom asked.
“[*/snigger] Of course not mom. He’s Ella younger brother he’s here to study in Collage‚ He’s not my boyfriend.” I replied “The fact Is I really doesn’t have a boyfriend now because I’m trying to focus on my passion now.” I added.
“What passion?” mom’s asked.
“Nothing mom.” I replied and smile at her.
“We’re here.” mom’s said and parked the car.
While walking to the entrance at the building an ambulance came and enter the building all the workers are panicking that the CEO was collapsed.
I was shocked on what I hear that I can’t helped my self to run to the office and looked for dad.
“Dad! Dad!.” I shouted but I came late he was really colapsed that my mom can’t help it tho that she was holding her tears.
The fact the it will be our happy family reunion but end up to a sad family reunion.
Mom and I go to the hospital and waited the’re until the doctor tells us about dad’s conditions.
He said that dad’s conditions was not good right now because of his frequent work.
“Mrs. Hilton please be aware po sa mga pwedeng mangyari if hindi na sulosyunan ang sakit ni Mr. Hilton malala na ang lagay n’ya sa ngayon kapag mas lumala pa ’to I can’t say If kakayanin pa ng katawan n’ya.” the doctor’s said and leave.
“Mom tell me‚ kailan pa mayro’ng sakit si dad?” I asked.
“This year‚ this past few months our companies is in crisis right now. Ilang beses ko nang sinabihan ang dad mo na ’wag munang problemahin ang kumpanya at mag pahinga na muna but he said what If bumalik ka at makita na nag hihirap ang kumpanya siguradong mahihirapan ka mag handle nito.” my mom’s replied.
“Mom [*/Cries] why didn’t you tell me earlier dad’s suffering all this days because he still thinking of me.” I said while crying.
“Don’t cry okay? you’re dad will be alright. He’s strong enough okay? kayang kaya n’ya mag pagaling agad.” my mom’s said while pathing my back.
I hugged mom and thank her for not letting dad faced this difficulities alone and they still giving strenght also trusted each other so much.
“Mom I wanted to see dad now‚ p’wede po ba?” I asked she just nodded and I enter dad’s room.
I sat down the chair and hold dad’s hand
“Dad‚ this is me‚ Joy. I missed you so much po.” I said in tears. “Sorry Dad‚ I came back late. sorry po dahil ’di ko alam ’yung tungkol sa sakit mo’t may pinagdadaanan ka pala sorry dad.” I added.
After saying what I wanted to say for dad I leave his room and run out of the hospital because of guilt.
—With Ella—
“Oh Joy.” Ella’s said “You’re here‚ kamusta lakad mo?” she asked.
“It’s a bad day at all.” I said
“Bakit? Ano bang nangyari? tell me.” sambit nito saka ako inalalayan papuntang sofa.
“Today I visited mom and dad’s house‚ and I apologize to mom like my plan also I wanted to apologized to dad but...he collapsed this morning.” I said and started to cry.
“Don’t worry It’s okay I’m always here for you okay? let’s visit him tomorrow. Sasamahan kita.” she said and hugged me tight.
“Thankyou Ella‚ Thanks for always cheering me up.” I said and hugged her back.
“Don’t cry okay?” she replied and wiped my tears.
“Oum.”
—In the Morning—
Ella and I are going to visit dad and also to meet mom I didn’t imagine that at this moment that dad was not in a good condition Ella will visit him.
—At the Hospital—
Nakasalubong namin si mom na papalabas ng kwarto ni dad nang papunta kami sa kwarto nito.
“Oh mom.” sambit ko.
“Joy‚ I have a good news for you” sambit ni mom saka lumapit sa ’kin “You’re dad’s awake.” sambit nito sa ’kin na abot tenga ang ngiti hindi ko na lamang na pigilan ang aking sarili na pumasok sa loob ng kwarto para i check si dad.
Sobrang tuwa ko ng makita ito at ngumiti sa ’kin.

“D-dad? [*/Cries]” sambit ko’t tumakbo papunta sa higaan nito at niyakap ito. “I missed you po‚ sorry dad umalis ako. Sorry if immature ako‚ sorry po talaga dad.” sambit ko.
“I’m so sorry too‚ I hope you’ll can forgive dad on what happened before sorry If ipinipilit namin ang gusto namin at ’di manlang namin inalam ang side mo.” tugon nito.
“No dad. Matagal na po kitang pinatawad kayo ni mom.” sambit ko. “Ahm mom dad‚ Btw this is Ella my friend mom this is her that friend that I was talkin’ about.” sambit kong pag papakilala kay Ella.
“Ahm Dad you didn’t know her yet but this is Ella sa province nila ako tumuloy this past 2 years also we’re In the same course the time that we’re in Collage.” sambit ko.
“Hello po tita and tito.” sambit ni Ella “Natutuwa po ’ko na okay na po kayo tito get well soon po.” dagdag nito.
“Salamat.” maiksing sambit ni Dad.
“So you’re Ella?” tanong ni mom.
“Yes po.” tugon ni Ella.
“Salamat sa pag aalaga sa anak namin apaka laking pasasalamat namin that she met you Ella.” sambit ni Mom.
“Tama ’yun salamat talaga Ella.” sambit ni Dad.
