Weeks passed like a blur and it happened again. Deus caught me again. This time dinala niya na ako to his condo and locked me there for two hours. Kami lang dalawa doon. He acted normal. Smiles and even talks like we're still best of fucking friends. He's crazy as fuck!! Ngiting tagumpay siya kanina ng mahawakan ang mukha ko.
I silently cried again while hugging Kuya Zion's jacket. Mas lalo akong napaiyak ng yakapin ako ni Kuya Zion.

His face softened when he looked in my direction.
I'm sure my face and neck are red right now. I'm crying for four hours straight. Walang tigil.
"Stop crying princess. For now, dito ka muna sa condo ko. Delikado ka na sa condo mo. I'll stay with you, okay? Dito nalang ako sa condo magtatrabaho. We can't go home, magtataka si Mama kung bakit ka umiiyak at matamlay. Stop crying,"
"I want to go back to Cali," I whispered.
"You will. You can't stay here any longer. Let me handle this and after that, you'll go back to Cali. Magpahinga ka muna."
Tumango ako at tumayo. Lumapit ako sa kama ni kuya at doon nahiga.
"Call me if you need anything. Sa baba lang ako." tumango ako kahit hindi nakatingin sa kanya.
I can't stop thinking about Deus. He changed . . . a lot. Hindi na siya yung Deus na kilala ko noon. He looks like a drug addict. A handsome clean drug addict.

It's Ten AM in the morning but here I am, still lying on the bed and staring at the ceiling.
"You didn't eat your breakfast," nakailang balik na si Kuya Zion dito to check if I had already eaten.

"What is it princess?" umupo siya sa kama na kinahihigaan ko.

Napahilamos si Kuya sa kanyang mukha. He looked frustrated.

"Why did you . . . fuck!" he stood up and left the room without even glancing at me.

I ended the call and stood up. After cleaning myself lumabas ako ng kwarto at pinuntahan si kuya sa home office niya.
I knocked on Kuya Z's office door with my heart beating fast.

Dahan-dahan kong pinihit ang doorknob at pumasok sa loob.
"Are you mad?"
"No," he answered still paying his attention to the papers in front of him.
"You're mad. Sorry for not telling it earlier. I was just scared 'cause you're friends with Axelone Kauis, Deus' brother. I'm afraid you'll tell him then he will tell Deus about my little bean. I'm just scared."
"You don't trust me, do you?" I was caught off guard by his question.

He sighed heavily.

Mangiyak-iyak na lumapit ako sa kanya at yumakap.

Dumiretso ako sa kitchen niya at nagsuot ng apron.
