"Shayrie!"
I was walking alone, when suddenly I heard someone called my name. I just realized that it's my own self too. I got so mesmerized when I saw a boy standing at the main entrance of the orphanage.
It's sunday and my schedule to serve or volunteer for the first time here. I'm now at the Haven Skiees Orphanage. Since I was kid, i love doing this kind of things, helping others with my own little way. Seeing a smile on their face makes my heart happy.
Before anything else, I want to introduce myself. I'm Shayrie Anloa Phatian, you can just call me Shay, Rie or some people used to call me Phat too. Music is one of the greatest changer in my life, it gives me color and butterflies. I'm also a 15 years old, only girl child of my parents.
Do you believe in promises? Yes I do.
But promise meant to be broken right? Well, I believe that it's ain't a promise if it is used to be broke. I called them a lie, mistake either.
Hmm, yes, I never been inlove and will never be inlove. As I said to myself.
Until I met him.

The man will change my perspective in love or the boy that will just prove that I'm right?
Kapag si kupido ang pumana, edi wow.
"Uhm, hi? Can I ask po?" hindi ko alam kung anong pumasok sa isipan ko, at lumapit ako sa kanya at nag tanong. Bahala na si batman kung baga.
"Sure po, what that?" he's so attractive that causes my heart, caught by him. Is this what they called love at first sight? Or admiration by just a single snap?
"Ahh, what time the serving will start po?" I asked. When it comes to strangers, I used english as my first language. Even though I'm not that fluent, it's my way to practice also.
"8am po," he answered. Ah ahh ahh! He's too cool, my heart is trembling.
"Aw, I see, sorry I'm just new here. Thank you so much," I said in a very low voice. Fortunately, he still be able to hear that. I'm so nervous that I couldn't even help to make any eye contact with him.
"Welcome po." rinig kong paghabol nyang salita nang mabilis akong lumayo sa pinaka main entrance ng oraphanage building. There's a garden and parking lot here, then a small building.

Gosh! Or we are just meant to meet eachother lang talaga?
I'm super early, it's just 6:30 in the morning and I have a 1 hour and half spare.
Pero wait! Ang cute talaga nya, what's his name? Arghhh! Bakit kasi hindi ko pa tinanong? Is he single? Hindi naman sa pagiging selfish pero, sana wala pa syang special someone ehe. Luh!? Ang harot ko na. Seryoso kasi, his eyes are looks so unreal, his lips are redish, small nose, not that tall but his like a fiction character. Why there's no one tell me that this kind of person exist? Mukha syang hindi nanakit pero nakaka akit, ror.
Since I have still lots of time, I decided to just go at the café. Matagal ko na nakikita 'to kaso I don't have a courage to enter. Malay ko ba kung mahal yung menu nila. I'm a shy person and I could always felt that they are judging me whenever someone stare at me.

"Creamy coffee and chocolate cupcake, right ma'am?" the stuff asked to verify my order.
"Yes po, thank you so much. Here's my payment," I replied.
"I received 500, we will just deliver your order, at your table ma'am once it's ready. Please just take a sit and here's your change," she said and give me my change. She's so professional and super pretty.
"Okay po, thank you again." I smiled.
"Thank you too ma'am, have a nice day!" she cheerful said. She's nice my heart, help. I really love nice and kind people.
Ako ata ang unang costumer nila, dahil 6:30am ang open ng café base sa nakalagay dito malapit sa pintuan. I checked the time and it's just 6:45 in the morning, so early for me to start the day in a weekend. I just decided na umupo sa pinaka dulo at gilid ng café. Their place is neath and very well organized. Instagramable din ang datingan, whoever design this place probably have a wild and awesome imagination.
Hindi pa nag tagal at dumating na din ang aking inorder.
"Thank you po," i said. I didn't even bother to give a glance, who ever the someone serve my order. Basta ang ganda ng view sa labas. It's addicting seeing cars moving, people walking, and specially the sun. One of my euphoria.
Then, I suddenly saw myself because of my reflection in the glass. I'm wearing a loose blue pants with a matching white cute tops, and white shoes. Meron din akong tote bag to carry my small stuffs, like wallet and phone. Nakalugay lang din ang buhok ko, hindi na ganon kahabaan tulad ng dati. Pina-gupit ko kasi simula nung nag decided akong kalimutan sy—. Nevermind, right now I just felt really pretty cute.
I'm done eating, just taking some rest and ready to go.
"Can I sit beside you?" I heard a voice from my back. A handsome voice, that sounds familiar. Kahit na, ang daming uupuan tabi ko pa talaga.
"Ayoko," walang preno ang dila ko na sinabi iyon. 'Tsaka humarap sa kanya, h-hoy? Ang pogi pero mukhang bad boy. Basta mas bet ko pa rin yung nasa orphanage hehe. I think we're just same age or he's just older a little.
"Really?" he asked. Then, give a me smirked. Luh?! Anong trip neto, baka gusto nya ng sapak? Ay, good girl pala ako for today.
"Ay hindi, no," I sarcastically said.
"What love story do you want? Haters to lovers huh?" kasabay ng naka kaloko nyang ngiti. Infairness he's cute naman.
"Aba, asa ka," I claimed. Pogi lang sya I'm gorgeous, tsk.
"No, I'm just kidding miss. I'm the child of owner of this café," he explained. Tapos paki ko?
"Then?" tipid kong sagot.
"Ako yung nag serve sayo kanina. Then, you didn't just turn your head to see how handsome I am," he said in a calm voice. Pero kapal nya, help. Suntukin ko kaya para magising. Maybe he's dreaming, joke only.
"Find my care mister," I said.
"Soon," he chuckled. He's getting to my nerves.
"Are you flirting? Well, I'm not interested." 'tsaka ko sya sinigkitan ng mata.
Aalis na sana ako, dahil wala na din naman akong kailangan dito and I'm also done eating. What's the point of talking to him.
"Wait," pahabol na sigaw nya nung malapit na ako sa pintuan palabas.
When suddenly, he grabbed my hand. That causes me to lost my balance. Everything turns in slow motion. Like there's a electric shocking my body.
"Ah ahhh!" sigaw ko.
Na out of balance ako at namalayan ko na lang nasa likod ko na, ang mga braso at kamay nya. Luh? Ano 'to novel lang ang peg? Literal na, I hate him to lovers, no way.
"A-are you okay?" he asked. I felt the worried on his voice. Dapat lang, kasalanan nya 'to. Hindi kami close tapos hihilahin nya ako. Tinulungan nya na din akong tumayo. Bahala ka dyan, sprain abot mo mamaya. Mag 3 minutes ata kaming nakatulala lang sa isa't isa kanina at nasa ganong posisyon.
"No," wala sasariling sagot ko nanaman kahit okay lang talaga ako.
"I'm sorry, naiwan mo kasi yung I'd mo?" he explained. Ahh kasalanan ko din pala, this is so embarrassing. Sabay kinuha nya sa lamesa ang I'd ko at wina-gayway, simbolo na naroon ang I'd ko.
"Well, I'm sorry too and give me that," I smiled fakely.
"Hmm." sabay silip nya sa I'd, gosh chismoso talaga. It's my volunteer I'd, ofcourse my name is there. I will never let him know my name without my consent.
"Hey!" sigaw ko at tumakbo ng mabilis para kunin yung I'd. Bakit ko pa kasi tinanggal sa leeg ko yan kanina. Arggh!
"You want to steal a kiss, huh?" he said in a cool voice. Para sa'kin napaka yabang ng dating. Muntik ko lang naman syang mahalikan, dahil bigla niyang itinaas ang I'd ko at bumangga ako sa kanya. Iyon yung naging dahilan para mag kalapit yung mga labi namin, mabuti agad akong kana-iwas at yung labi nya ay dumampi sa pisngi ko. Edi kiss pa rin yon?! Sa checks mga lang.
"Asa ka, 'tsaka ako 'tong babae. Ibigay mo na sa'kin yang I'd ko," I stare at him seriously.
"Easy, miss Shayrie Anloa Phatian. Nice name, cute like you. I'm Jayden," he chuckled.
"I. Don't. Care." kasabay ng pag hablot ng I'd ko mula sa kamay nya. Mabuti na lang dahil nakuha ko din.
"Hey, hey, hey. I'm so—" pag habol nya ng sigaw at ngayon ay tuluyan na akong naka labas ng café.
That's really embarrassing! Buti na lang wala pang ibang tao. It's cringe also, argg!
I checked the time and it's already 7:50 in the morning, for sure malalate ako kapag hindi ako nag madali na pumunta sa oraphanage. Kinalimutan ko din muna ang nangyari. Smile Shayrie, smile c'mon. Hindi na ako nag aksaya ng oras, tumakbo at lakad ang aking ginawa.
"Ouchh!" pag rereklamo ko ng madapa ako dahil sa hindi pag iingat at pag mamadali. Pag minamalas ka nga naman, kaharap ko na yung orphanage oh!
"Hi, you need help? Are you okay?" tanong nung lalaki sa karapan ko. Luh? Concern ako lang 'to, joke.
"Uhm," kasabay ng pag tango 'tsaka inangat ang ulo ko para makita ko sya. Hindi na ako nakapag salita at agad na lang tumayo. Sa lahat ng pwedeng makakita na nadapa ako bakit yung crush ko pa?
"Be careful always, you're just in time don't be too hurry," he said in a caring voice. Wait! Pati ata puso ko nalaglag, help.
"Yes, thank you." I smiled awkwardly.
Hindi ko alam kung plus one or minus points ako kay crush. Pero kinikilig pa rin ako omiejieee.
Gaya ng sinabi nya, nag lakad na lang ako ng maingat at naka ngiti syempre.
