The first day of school has already ended and Ryza and Bryan are now at their home resting and preparing for tomorrow's class. Bryan can't sleep because inside his mind is Ryza and he wants to call her only friend before he goes to sleep and takes a rest.
Inabot niya ang telepono niya na nakapatong sa isang mini table katabi niya at pinindot ang numero ni Ryza.
"Hi Mate good evening, how are you?" Bungad nito habang naka tapik ang telepono sa kanyang tainga.
Mabuti nalang at sinagot niya, she's a real quick when it comes sa mga ganitong bagay.
"Hi good evening too, I'm good and a little bit tired and sleepy. Why aren't you sleeping yet?" I heard her carcking voice.
"I want to talk to you before I go to sleep."
My day is incomplete without her. I want to tell her about that but maybe it's not the right time.
"Talk about what? Did I do something or do you want to share something?" Nagdududa na naman siya. Ang sarap niya talagang asarin. Minsan nawawala siya sa sarili niya, minsan she's overreacting.
"No no, I mean I just want to consult you about today's class and assignment. Did you finish answering it?"
Quickly get my notebook where my assignment is located.
"Oh yeah I forgot that we have an assignment, can I see your work? I promise I won't cheat, I'll just take a look so that I have an idea on how to answer it."
Mahina siya sa english, but she's very cool and amazing when it comes sa math subjects. She's a pro.
"Oh you promise? Okay wait I'll send it to you via email." Open my Personal Computer and directly send it to her email address. Ayokong may makakadakip sa amin na nag oonline cheating via messenger.
"It's here Bry, thanks a lot."
I know nahihirapan siya and I'm here willing to help her out.
"Small things Mate, you see my solution? How is it? Good or bad?" Ginandahan ko na rin ang sulat ko para naman ma appreciate niya.
"It's good Bryan, nice writing."
Sabi ko na nga ba na makikita niya ang maganda kong sulat.
"You want me to help you or what? I want to help you finish it. What can I do to help you?" I just want to cuddle her and by that, gusto kong matapos na siya sa assignment. Madali lang naman and just like a piece of cake.
"No thank you, Bry I can answer it on my own. It's easy tho', no problem I have my notes always. I'll call you back later after I finish my homework okay? Bye Bry." Pinatay niya agad ang tawag.
"Sure, bye Mate." I'm expecting she's doing it right now. I know she's smart pero not all the time.
After thirty minutes. . .
"Hi Bry I'm done with my homework!" My phone rang agad, so I quickly answered her call. It's Ryza.
"Good to hear Mate, so what do you want to do now?" I'm planning to have some small chit chat because I missed her.
"I want some gossip Bryan, do you have any?"
She's also a gossip girl. She always wants to talk about other people's lives.
"Gossip? Oh, it's my first time to hear from you that you're interested in gossip."
"Shh, keep quiet. It's just a secret between the two of us." She's cute. Well, marami akong gossip pero ayoko lang mag talk para hindi naman ako masabihan na marites.
"A secret? You love that too?"
"Not really but kind of."
I noticed lately, isa sa mga kaklase namin ang nakikita kong nagkakagusto kay Ryza. Sino ba naman ang hindi magkakagusto sa kanya. She's elegant, smart, she's cool and she's pure.
"Okay, do you know that one of our classmates has a crush on our Oral Communication teacher?." Hindi ko man lang naisip ang maaari niyang maramdaman. Pero sge go na lang.
"What? who? since when?" She's a little bit shocked.
"Well, Alex. Do you know him? The guy who sits in front of you?"
Yes, Alex. He is a jerk, pero mabait. Hindi ko alam bakit siya nagugustuhan ng mga babae.
"Alex Alcala?"
"Yes Mate, Alex Alcala the nerd guy." Nerd guy who's not a nerd. He's just wearing a fake glass so that he may look like a nerd.
"Well nice gossip tho'. What else?"
"You want more? I'll ask you questions or vice versa if you want. It's okay with me." I love asking her questions. Basta kapag walang topic bahala na.
"Sure, vice versa."
"Who's your crush mate? May I know or just give me a hint." I'm hoping na sana ako HAHAHA.
Gosh, my self is too much. Nag hahallucinate na ako dahil sa kanya.
"Bryan, why is that question? Do you want to know?"
"Hmm if it's okay for you to tell me, why not?"
"Well maybe I don't have a heart(laughing)."
"Why? Where do you want to go?".
"I mean I don't feel anything when it comes to that thing. Maybe just because I'm only focusing on my studies and I'm not yet ready for that thing even if it's just a crush." Yeap I know. Nagfofocus siya.
I always heard that quote "study first" pero I don't know sa mga babae kung totoo ba ang mga sinasabi nila. Kase kapag sinasabi nila na magfofocus sila pero yung oras nasa mga Koreano.
Hindi ba pwedeng isabay ang study at ang mga bagay na makakapagpasaya sa kanila? Hmm, that's a logic.
"Uhmm well yeah that's what you are, I mean we can't force anyone to have a crush on someone." Yeap, that's true. Kase palagi naman ang outcome kapag ang isang tao pinipilit ay hindi nagiging maganda ang kinalalabasan.
Sometimes, people believe that being force is a good thing. Pero that's wrong. When someone is forcing you if ayaw mo naman then let go. Masakit makulong at pilitin ang sarili sa mga bagay na hindi naman gusto.
"How about you Bryan? Do you have any crushes, especially in our section or inside the campus? What's your ideal type?"
"I have one inside the campus but I don't think so if she'll like me back. Well my ideal type is just a simple girl but beautiful looking. Pretty inside and out and also kind-hearted and her neutral hair is at her shoulder side." I don't think she see me as a crush.
Let me explain it. I do give love unconditionally and I'm not expecting that person to love me back snd that's all that matters.
"Oh nice standard tho'. May I know her name?"
"Well not now Mate,especially I'm not that sure that I have a crush on her."
"It's okay, Bry. It's your choice and it's okay." Yung boses niya parang antok na antok na.
"Aren't you sleepy yet Mate? You want to have more gossip? You said earlier that you're sleepy."
"Well it popped up(laughing). Let's watch some movie together or play some music so that I can sleep easily and earlier." Good choice and sounds great. So I scroll down and picked some good songs and played it.
"Sure, love that idea Mate. Wait, I'll just search for some song. What songs do you like? Let's play it."
"My fav. song? Nineteen Eighties songs, specifically Nineteen Hundredths songs. Play it, Bry please." We're exactly similar in some things but yeap she didn't notice it.
Nineteen Hundredths songs are playing and both of them are listening to the song and after ten minutes Ryza is already sleeping.
"Mate? Are you already sleeping or not?
(Ryza didn't respond)I knew she would easily fall asleep. Goodnight Mate and sleep well I'll see you tomorrow." Hindi ko na naririnig ang boses niya, I assumed natulog na siya. And I'm correct, natulog na nga siya.
Hinayaan ko lang ang call namin, hanggang sa pagdating ng umaga at nawalan pala kami ng wifi kaya ayun naputol ang call.
I'm getting ready na rin for my class, maganda ang gising ko at maganda rin ang tulog ko. Can't wait to see Ryza!
DAY 2 OF CLASS
It's wednesday and everyone should wear their P.E uniform boys and girls. Ryza woke up early and prepared breakfast for herself and for her 3 siblings. After she cooked their breakfast, she went to a shower room and took a shower and then after she took a shower, she ate her breakfast together with her 3 siblings and after their breakfast she washed her teeth and put her shoes on and then got ready to go to school. While Bryan Mendoza woke up late and his alarm clock did not work. He woke up at 6:12 am which is late for him.Usually he woke up around 5am to 5:30. After he wakes up, his Nanay(helper) is preparing his breakfast while he's in the shower room. After he took a shower he then ate his breakfast alone and then after he washed his teeth and then got his backpack and put his shoes on. He then went to their car and got ready to go to school.
Bryan saw Ryza who's walking
"Manong driver can you stop the car? I have a friend of mine who is her(pointing Ryza) . I want her to get in our car. Is it okay?"
"Sure sir, no problem."
"Hi Mate! Get in the car."
"Bryan, no it's okay I can walk."
"No, just get in the car, it's the easiest way. Come on Mate, don't be shy."
"Okay, it seems like you don't accept a no answer. Okay I'll get in."
"Good morning, how's your sleep? You sleep earlier than I thought(laughing)."
"Why are you laughing? Am I a clown?"
"Well sorry, no I mean you're the first one who wants to play a song first and then you're also the first one who sleeps."
"Sorry, maybe I'm just very tired from yesterday's class."
(The car stop at the front of their campus gate)
"Thank you, Bryan."
"Sure, no problem."
(Alex Alcala is coming towards Ryza and Bryan's position).
"Hi Ryza, good morning."
"Hi, good morning, you're early Alex, you seem so bright and happy today, what happened?"
"Nothing much, maybe because I saw you, a beautiful morning flower."
"You're just flattering me Allex".
"Uhm uhm, Mate let's get in(Bryan)."
"Bye Alex, we'll go inside, see you."
Bryan and Ryza go to their room and attend their class and after a while Alex Alcala also gets in the room and sits in front of Ryza's seat he then gives a smirk to Ryza and Bryan Mendoza sees it and gets mad. Bryan is in a bad mood since he first saw Alex on the gate earlier because he knows Alex Alcala. He likes their teacher but not only their teacher but for him he's too handsome and wants to send likes to all girls especially his pretty classmate girls.
Bryan's POV
Why do I feel this to Ryza? Do I like her? No, I'm not liking her. But why am I getting jealous of Alex? Maybe I'm just protecting her against that ugly duckling boy. Boastful boy. Since the day I saw Ryza, I'm pretty shocked that she's not only beautiful when we have a Video Call but when you see her in person you'll get your mouth open for 15 seconds. She's too beautiful for me and maybe that's why many men are liking her except the fact that she's a girl.Ofcourse a boy will like a girl. If not, well he's not a boy whose type is a girl. I'm staring at her while she's combing her hair and gosh I can't take my eyes off her. She's too pretty and it makes me feel so uncomfortable when I'm with her but maybe she can't feel it. Why am I being like this? Do I really like her? Or maybe it's just a part of our friendship? I don't know but I only know that I cared for her, I want her to be with me always even when we're sleeping. (Slapping his face)Bry what's happening to you, I'm not like this but I saw that myself changed when I met Ryza."
