Gym
Our examination has ended already, I guess I can say I did good on the exam, hindi man totally at least feel ko naman na pasado ako. Jia and I planned to go to gym today since madalang nalang kaming mag-work out dahil busy na rin. It would be also our bonding.
Me: Can you pick me up? I don't wanna drive right now.
Pagka-send ko ay agad ko namang inayos ang duffel bag ko at iba pang kakailanganing damit. Jia immediately replied too.
Jia: sure. On my way.
Pagkatapos ay lumabas na ako agad ng condo at naghintay sa labas ng building para deretso na kami sa gym. Ilang minutes lang ay dumating na kaagad siya. Medyo masama ang timpla niya kasa nakabusangot habang nagda-drive.
"Hey what happen to your face? Bakit ka iritado dyan?" I said looking at her.
"Argh! I am just pissed because of this random guy na muntik nang mabangga ang kotse ko, muntik na akong mamatay sa nerbyos!" She rants while compassing her hands with her brows lift.
"Hayaan mo na Jia. Pero, okay ka lang ba? Baka nauntog ulo mo?." pag-alalang tanong ko. Inilingan niya lamang ako at nagpatuloy na lang sa pagda-drive.
After some minutes, nakapasok na nga kami sa loob ng gym. Nilibot ko ang aking mga mata sa buong gym, wala namang masyadong tao ngayon kaya mas okay iyon, pero gulat ako ng sobra dahil natanaw ko sa lat pulldown machine si Lucas.
I got stunned a seconds, I didn't know he's working out mismo dito. Hindi pa niya ako nakikita, he's busy pulling down the machine. Hindi ko nalang siya tiningnan ulit at baka maistorbo ko.
I started stretching before getting on the treadmill, Jia did the same. As I run in the treadmill enough for me to run smoothly.
I took some time to stare at him working in his back muscles, his sweat that's coming down continuously in his neck, down to his wet chest. I tried so hard to stop staring at him so I wouldn't lose my focus on the treadmill. Muntik na akong mahulog kung hindi lang ako nakakapit agad sa railings nito.
After that, I did my usual routine. I did some of squat and butt workout using related equipments. Ever since Jia started pursuing me to regularly go to gym, I got taller than my usual height and became fit. Not to its extent, I don't like being petite I just wanted a fit body for a healthy living.
Of course this was made possible because I had my own fitness instructor which is Sir. Ben but unfortunately, he wasn't around today so he just instructed me on text.
While working out, I noticed that zairo stop on the pulldown machine and got his towel to wiped his overflowing liquid. I couldn't concentrate enough because his looks unlocked mine. I smiled and waved at her awkwardly. Papunta na siya ngayon sa gawi ko, then I stop when he came.
"Hi, didn't know you workout in this gym too." I said. Nagpahid muna siya ng pawis bago niya ako sinagot. Ngunit hindi pa rin sapat iyon dahil tagaktak pa rin ang pawis niya. I smell his scent, ang bango pa rin niya kahit pawisan talaga.
"Well yeah. Lumipat na ako, the previous one is too crowded already." He said to me while looking. He crouched a little. He moved his arm in front of my face and fixed my fallin' hair on my right side. Hindi ko napigilang hindi huminga ng ilang segundo. It was so sudden!
"You okay?" Kunot noong tanong niya sa akin na para bang wala lang ang ginawa niya sa akin kani-kanina lang.
"Uh yeah. Oo naman. Syempre." I said then bite my lips habang tumatango. Jia then noticed I am talking to someone kaya lumapit siya sa direksyon namin ni Lucas.
"Oh who's this guy aya?" She asked while wiping her sweat face at inakbayan ako.
"Jia. Si Lucas, he's my classmate and a...friend." medyo tatlong segundo rin bago ko dinugtungan ang sasabihin ko, I don't know if we're friend already, but for me I already considered it, hindi ko lang masabi agad baka naman hindi niya ako ma considered as a friend diba. Nakakahiya yon.
"Hi Lucas! I'm Jia, nice to meet you." Casual na pagpapakilala ni Jia sa kanya. They both shakehands after that.
"So regular ka ba nito sa gym?" Jia continued asking Lucas.
"Uh no. Kalilipat ko lang." tipid na sagot pabalik ni Lucas. Tumango tango si Jia at maya maya'y nagpaalam na rin sa amin para magpatuloy sa pagwork-out.
Magsasalita na sana ako na itutuloy ko na ang work out session ko nang may babaeng pumulupot agad sa leeg ni zairo.
"Hey babe. I missed you." She then kissed Lucas’s nape. Kunot noo kong tiningnan ang babaeng nakatalikod sa akin. 
Girlfriend niya ba to? Well, I guess oo. Of course, who the hell would let a person snake an arms and let him kiss her? 
Hindi ko matago ang iritasyon ko sa babae. Not because I am jealous or something but because of her sudden interruption, at babae siya dapat maging proper siya lalo na at may mga tao sa paligid. It's okay if she'd do that privately. Right? Tama naman ako diba?
"What are you doing here Hanna?" Lucas exclaimed to her trying to get away the girl's arm encircling in his neck. Siguro napapansin din ni Lucas ang tinginan ng mga taong sandaling napatigil sa pag-workout.
"Babe? Don't you miss me?" The girl asked again sensually. Seriously?
Hindi ko na napigilan pa dahil mukhang wala naman na ako sa frame. Hindi na ako nagpaalam pa sa kanya dahil busy na siya sa girlfriend niyang linta kung makakapit. 
So Amara Miles? Why am I getting irritated here all of a sudden? Wala naman dapat akong pake kung tutuusin. But for some reason, gusto kong sabihin na dapat ay may pake ako. And for Pete’s sake, this is a public place! Mahiya naman sana diba.
Instead na makain ng iritasyon ang sarili, I just continued working out with a bit of irritation na sana hindi makita sa mukha ko. Jia suddenly stopped at nagpaalam sa akin.
"Shocks! I'm sorry uwi na muna ako sa bahay, mom texted me and said it's emergency daw. You okay here right? Take a cab nalang muna. Bawi ako next time promise!" She said while raising her right hand.
"It's okay. Tita said its emergency right? You go ahead, I can manage." After that, we bid our goodbye's to each other. Hindi ko na muling nakita pa si Lucas at ang girlfriend niya.
After kong magbihis lumabas na din ako ng gym, at tumayo sa labas ng building. I grabbed my phone, before I could even book a cab. Suddenly someone grabbed my hand.
Nilingon ko ang likuran niya kung nandyan pa ba ang girlfriend niya pero wala.
"Oh, nasaan na girlfriend mo?" I asked.
"She's not my girlfriend." He said and clenched his jaw.
"Talaga ba? Ah ok." Tumalikod na ako. Why is he denying her girlfriend? Kahit na PDA ang girlfriend niya hindi pa rin tama na itinatanggi niyang girlfriend niya yon. If it was me, It would really hurt me so bad.
"She's just a friend. Come on." Trying so hard to control his temper in front of me.
"Really? You let your FRIEND kissed you? Ibang klase naman pala ang turing mo sa FRIEND mo eh." I said emphasizing the word ‘friend’ while crossing my arms habang kunot pa ang aking noo.
Why am I acting like this by the way?
"At saka. Why are you even explaining to me?" Hindi ko alam kung bakit nag-eexplain pa siya sakin.
"Because I wanted to Amara Miles." He said in his husky voice, trying to said things to me lightly. And I always wondered why there’s this tingling feeling I always felt every time he’d call my complete name?
I can't seem to find any reasons. Is this it? Hindi pa rin ako nagpapatinag at tinanong ko ulit siya, nagsisi rin lang naman ako sa huli kung bakit ko pa tinanong yon.
"So since friend naman tayo, paano kung ganon din gawin ko sayo, ok lang sayo?"
Huli ko nang napagtanto kung anong klaseng mga salita ang binitawan ko.
I saw him smirked at me. He put his finger in his lips while still looking at me. I swear, even I can't see my face fully, I look really constipated. Sobrang hiya na ang nararamdaman.
Niyuko ko saglit ang ulo ko at palihim na kinagat ang labi ko. Muli kong tiningnan siya ulit at nakitang nakangisi.
"Uh that's not really what I mean Lucas—"
He then groaned cutting my words.
"Damn Amara. I would gladly embrace you if you'd do that." He said to me. I think I'm losing my pace looking at him in his amusing eyes. As if it was claiming me.
